Hotel Le Soleil - Vancouver

Das gebuchte 3-Bettzimmer bestand aus genaugenommen zwei geräumigen Zimmern, die darüberhinaus durch eine Schiebetür voneinander getrennt werden konnten. Insgesamt machte das gesamte Hotel einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Bedingt durch die günstige Lage des Hotels in "downtown" kann man die Stadterkundung zu einigen der Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß bequem unternehmen. Das Personal war stets hilfsvereit und freundlich. Wir würden bei einer eventuellen Wiederholung der Reise durchaus wieder im "Le soleil" Quartier nehmen und es auch weiter empfehlen.

Die einzigen, die enttäuscht sein könnten, sind die, die eine große Lobby erwarten. Die gibt es nämlich nicht. Tolle Zimmer, tolle Ausstattung.

Mit im Preis enthaltenen Parking, günstig gelegen und leicht zu finden. Ausgezeichneter Service!

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel in Vancouver prior to going on an Alaskan cruise. The check in was quick and curteous. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which I thought was well decorated and spacious. We had breakfast in the attched restaurant which was pricey but excellent. It's central location was a great base for seeing Vancouver

We picked this hotel on Hotels.com because it had the best combination of good ratings and price (at least for the weekend we were there). We were really impressed with the hotel. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms clean and well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, including helping us find restaurants, identify tours, navigate, and otherwise meet our needs. This hotel definitely helped make our stay in Vancouver an enjoyable one.

This is a 5-star hotel in my opinion. Front desk, Conierge, and Bellman service was impeccable. Conveniently located to all attractions -- Vancouver is a very walkable city.

This hotel was perfect for us. The location was great, the staff was pleasant and extremely helpful, the room was nice size and very comfortable.

Hotel Le Soleil is charming, attentive, clean and well located to all downtown attractions. Aveda products in the bathroom, two flat screen TV's, great breakfast and all staff members were pleasent and helpful. Highly recommended for the money.

From the valet attendants to the restaurant staff our experience was extremely satisfying.

We love this hotel. It is within walking distance of Robson Street, the Waterfront, Gastown and Stanley Park. It's also only a couple of blocks from the Art Museum and a SkyTrain station. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable with the bedroom separate from a sitting room. We loved staying there and would love to stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel, with French flavor. Well appointed rooms, considerate service, good restaurant. Water and apples at the front desk. Walking distance to Gaslight district. Would definitely go back.

We loved having a 2 room suite with doors for quiet. My husband tends to get up before I do and the arrangement allowed him to shower and watch tv without waking me. We also got a great deal on Hotels.com.

Similar to a suite we had in Paris near the Arch de Triomphe.... A little smaller yet one-eighth the price.

The service at this hotel is really wonderful. Great staff!!!! They were very kind and attentive in every way possible. On more than one occasion the staff went above and beyond their jobs to assist us. We really felt like they cared. The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location was also excellent. We have nothing bad to say about our stay.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Good location in downtown Vancouver, close to Gastown, Chinatown, shopping and visitor center. Slightly olde structure, but well taken care of. Had 2 40 inch HDTVs, sofa-bed, good shower and heating/ac controls. Not much street noise or elevator noise. Staff was friendly.

Everything about Le Soleil was fantastic. It reminded us of a fancy European hotel with the decor and art. It was the perfect location, close to the Vancouver Art Museum and walking distance to the Gaslight district. The best part of the hotel was the concierge. We met with him the first day and he suggested a place for dinner that night; best restaurant ever. They also knew the concierge by name and gave us the best table at his request. We went back to him the next day and had him plan out the rest of our trip which was amazing.

The room was very comfortable and a great location downtown. The only negative was breakfast. The food was so-so and the service was very slow. After our first day, we walked a few blocks to the Marriott for a superb breakfast.

Staff was very helpful with providing recommendations for local dining and attractions. The hotel was very nice and well kept. We did not dine in the resturaunt in the hotel. If we visit Vancouver again we will certainly stay at this hotel.

You only need to know one thing... stay here!! The service is fantastic and very attentive, very knowledgeable consierge, all staff were very easy to deal with and attentive, but not over the top. They do mandate that they carry your luggage and there is no onsite fitness facility, but it is definitely a much more comfortable feeling than staying at a chain hotel. I will definitely stay here again!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and made our stay most enjoyable.

Exquisite quality all around. Beautiful appointments in lobby and room. Extra large new flat screen TV's. Great shower! Which is important to us road warriors.

As usual, wonderful expereince. Close to meeting rooms, resturants, marina, shopping, yet cost effective. Clean and confortable. I'll be back.

We were in Vancouver for a wedding at Canada Place...this was a nice quiet, comfortable place to stay...and everyone was so nice, too! We would definitely stay here again.

I liked the personal, friendly service and proximity to public transportation. It truly felt like my "home away from home" for five days!

Sitting area was nice, somewhat cozy. The bedroom was way too small for the king bed - barely room to ease around it. Very nice overall, however.

Recently I stayed at Hotel Soleil for 6 days. During the whole stay the staff was extremelly helpful. Every time I cam in and out of the lobby they were truly interested in my day. They offerred great advice as to where to go in order to eat, explore and what areas to avoid. The valets were very prompt and never made me feel pressured to provide a tip every time they brought me my car. The hotel was smack dab in the middle of everyhting. A few blocks from Robson and only 3 blocks from Canada Place. I found out 4 days into my trip that you can access Pacific Centre with only a short 2 block walk. In the future, this will be a big plus. The biggest benefit was that with it was easy to exit the hotel and get onto the main road (Grainville St.). I felt very safe and would go back in a heart beat. The only downside is that they do not have thier own gym but a 2 block walk brings you to the water where you can run along the seawall. Special thanks to Patrick at the front desk and Mike the valet. Both were friendly and always available to help

This was a very nice hotel with a bit of quirk. It was an exceptional deal considering it is right in the middle of downtown Vacouver and close to everything! There were lots of restaurants in the area, coffee shops, and major brand name stores. The veiw was of the back ally but it was a bright and sunny room with an attached living room area. Overall really great!

We stayed at the Hotel LeSoliel in March '09 to attend a professional conference held at Canada Place. It was convenient to the conference, and there were a lot of great restaurants/pubs in the neighborhood. Bellaggio Cafe two blocks up Hornby Street was reasonably priced, friendly, and the food was tasty. Robson Street and the Vancouver Art Gallery were within easy walking distance; Stanley Park and Granville Market were long hikes, but do-able. We travelled by Amtrak, and transferred easily to the Skytrain, which stopped a block from the hotel. The streets around the hotel were safe, though there is a "gentleman's club" in the same block which was pretty colorful at night, and panhandlers in much of downtown Vancouver.
