Very nice hotel for the price paid. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Great breakfasts too, although not cheap. Very convenient - close to main shopping areas - 10-15 mins walk. Would be happy to stay there again.

The staff was attentive and prompt in taking care of anything and everything. Rooms, although just a tad tired, were bright with elegant furniture and lots of windows. Thanks to housekeeping rooms were immaculate. Front desk and concierge services were marvelous. And, we can't forget the friendly and helpful doorman, Pierre. Location was also great- walking distance to the art museum; galleries; and, upscale shops.

Everything about the hotel was great except for two things. The pool area closes way too early at 7 pm, which is ridiculous and they make you pay for wi-fi in the rooms, even the cheap hotels have free wireless these days. The location in downtown Montreal can't be beat though, the rooms were very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly.

I stayed at Omni Mont-Royal before, and it's a great hotel. The only problem this time, but a big one, is that I made the reservation (at hotels.com) for an executive suite, and I ended up in a room, because the hotel ran out of suites by the time I got there (6 pm). In all fairness the manager on duty offered us free breakfast as compensation, still it was a big disappointment that such a classy hotel made such a big mistake. You cannot go wrong with Omni Mont-Royal, it's an excellent hotel, but my advice to you is call them in advance to make sure they'll have what you reserved.

Taking my wife to Montreal & The Omni Hotel for her birthday bought many many "love points." The hotel was magnificent, well appointed - big comfy rooms, the location perfect and the value tremendous. It was close to our new favorite restaurant (Dunn's Deli) and just a block from the metro which got us everywhere we needed to be or wanted to go. As luck would have it, the "Just for Laughs" comedy festival was in town, so we even topped off our stay with three nights of great comedy. I would recommend the Omni, Mont Royal to anyone. Go visit Montreal and stay at the Omni.

The Omni is a short walk to everything. My room was next to the elevator and ice machine...and I didn't hear any hallway noise at all. Would definitely go back.

Never stayed in a room that large. It ws twice the size of most hotel rooms. One whole wall of windows with a view of Mont Royal. Friendly staff and a doorman with a great memory. Would pick it over all the other hotels I've stayed in in Montreal.

We spent a weekend in Montreal and picked this hotel based on reviews and price. The experience was outstanding, the hotel is a step above what I'm used to at this price, the room being enormous, clean, and comfortable, and amenities plentiful. Located at the edge of downtown Montreal, surrounded by shops, restaurants and clubs, all within 3 blocks, it is a perfect location for people who want to enjoy this beautiful city. Service at this hotel, especially from the concierges was exceptional.

The Omni provides a great location for a stay in Montreal. It's just across the street from McGill University and on the north side of Downtown Montreal. Also a very good value.

We had never been to Montreal so we headed out for Spring Break. I was hoping for a good central location because we like to do a lot of walking. And I wanted it cheap. The Omni is a really lovely place way above my usual level of cheap! Big clean room, great bed...just wished we had booked it for a fourth night so we could have stayed the night before we flew out after we had come back from Quebec City. Fantastic Value! Book a Mont-Royal view!

Very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Exceptionally clean and very elegantly decorated rooms. Great value, very courteous and friendly staff. Close to all major attractions and valet service was fast and reasonable. Would definitely stay there again, normally stay at the Ritz which is being overhauled but this hotel is on the same level and highly recommended.

The Omni Mont-Royal is a solid four-star in a great location. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and other conveniences within a couple blocks. As for the hotel, the rooms could stand a small renovation--flat TVs, for example--but the hotel is by no means falling apart and the rooms are huge. I've stayed here before and will again. It's my first choice for Montreal, not because it's the best hotel there but because it's among the best-values.

The personnel were very helpful and pleasant. I did double check since I had asked for two beds for myself and my daughter. At first they were not going to honor this request, but after a little discussion they agreed to do so. The room was very nice. The pool is closed for renevation, but they have a nice gym facility.

Great hotel if you need to be downtown. The carpet in my room could have used replacement - but that is a minor detail - the other furniture and fixtures were good. It is worth mentioning that the Sherbrooke street side (facing Mount Royal) is noisey during rush hours.

We were excited to stay at the Omni Hotel in center city Montreal. We had great reviews from friends, and it appeared(and was) in a great part of town. Very close to a Metro stop, the underground, and many tourist attractions. However, the service and accommodation at the hotel were sub par. The bed was without any comforter (trendy? not when it's below O in Montreal), just a light blanket provided in the closet. When we requested a comforter or more blankets, it took them over an hour to bring them up. There were stains on the carpet and the vents in the bathroom were covered with dust. That night, a loud group of guests were chattering in front of our door, and again a phone call to the desk took over an hour to get the group to quiet down. Also, the newspaper we ordered for the morning was missing when we woke. All in all, not what I would expect from an Omni.

I was very very pleased with my stay here especially during new years .. everything is located just a hop and a skip away. Everything from Room service to Conceirge ... it was amazing ... and not to mention the beds are wicked comfy!

We spent five nights here. The room was always clean, very spacious, and comfortable. NO noise. I enjoyed the view (a corner room). A bit too much in the business section fo town for what I originally wanted, but a good stay.

The Omni is right on Sherbrooke near McGill. Nice hotel and we got a pretty good deal. Have stayed in a lot of hotels in Montreal (daughter at McGill). The room was clean and handsome and the staff friendly. I do have a few minor quibbles though. Only 2 pillows for a king sized bed. Requsted more and there was no problem, but I felt I needed to tip the staff for bringing them. The Valet is definitely more expensive than other places and during checkout it took more than 30 minutes to bring the car around. Lastly, and most importantly (this may not apply to all who stay there), but we were on the 4th floor; right outside was the pool and there was a crew working on putting a frame and tarp on the pool...before 7am on a Sunday morning! Very loud clanging and shouting in French from the workers. Really bummed me out (Especially after a night out in Montreal). Will probably stay at another hotel next time.

I frequently visit Montreal and have stayed in many of the fine hotels the city has to offer. The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel, formerly a Four Season's Hotel, has always been one of my favorites due to the location, friendly staff, and room amenities. Great restaurants, the nightlife of Cresent Street, shopping, the Art Museum, and Mont Royal are all a short walk from the hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are well-appointed with quality bedding. Great value when compared to other hotels.
