Das Hotel (eher Motel) liegt gut im Norden Vancouvers. Man ist schnell z.B. in Downtown oder im Stanley Park. Die Zimmer/Bad sind einfach und sauber. Service eigentlich auch ok, aber mal war das Bett nicht gemacht oder das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Würden dennoch wieder hingehen.

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and large enough. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in North Vancouver, obviously from its name, but this means that a significant body of sea water has to be crossed to get to Vancouver proper. This is done by getting on to the Lions Gate Bridge which is a few blocks from the hotel. This is incredibly convenient and brings with it the much lower rates of North Vancouver. The Lions Gate Bridge is, however, incredibly congested at times which means waiting in the very traffic one takes a vacation to get away from. We found the 6-8 AM traffic almost non-existent. The hotel is nothing spectacular, but the rooms are nice, large and comfortable. The free breakfast includes eggs, waffles, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, tea all which you make or pour yourself. The breakfast room is a crowded collection of guests from multiple countries checking toasters and waffle irons. And, more of a surprise! - many of the attractions a visitor wants to see in Vancouver are on the North Side of the Bay - Lynn Canyon, Grouse Mountain, Horseshoe Bay, Whistler, and if you wish to fall for this tourist trap, the Capilano Suspension bridge. Compared to other hotels we checked out - the North Vancouver Hotel is an incredible deal.

Nice, clean hotel and good location north of the city. Many good restaurants within 10 minute drive. Very close to Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Very small bathroom, no hairdryer,needs to be updated,felt old and dingy.Free breakfest was plentyfull but the room was to small, guests bumped into each other.

room smelled like mold, a/c didn't work well. door to hotel room had huge gaps in it so you could actually see outside witht he door "shut". the free breakfast included waffles, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee, toast..lots to choose from...but in a tiny room that you can't even move in. there were probably 15 people in this room no where to sit. it wasn't the end of the world, we took our food back to our room...but not exactly what we expected. I would also like to point out...that I am not one of those people that need exteme clean or luxury in a hotel. If I was I would't have been staying at this hotel to begin with. It really was a bad hotel...and I can put up with a lot! our room was non refundable and we had pre paid (it's non refundable because otherwise everyone would check in and check right back out) and we couldn't afford to walk on on the $ we paid already and go pay for another hotel.

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but the room was clean and quiet the price is much better than in the downtown Vancouver area. Rooms come with mini fridge and microwave. Three separate buildings with two floors and outdoor corridors. Free parking. Great location if you are visiting Stanley Park, the Capilano bridge and the Grouse Mountain areas, and there are lots of good restaurants in the area to choose from. The Lions Gate bridge leading into downtown Vancouver is only a couple of minutes from the hotel. The only complaint we had was the tiny breakfast area next to the lobby. Plan on bringing your waffles and other breakfast items back to the room with you, because there probably won't be an open table unless you get there early.

The hotel was an old Best Western that had attempts at updating. (Still using some of its stationary, etc.) It was a $50 taxi ride from the air port and in the middle of nowhere. No place to eat or shop, not within walking distance of anything. The room was very small and cramped. Staff was not very friendly.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. My family and I were happy there.

I would stay with them again. The staff was very helpful with all request.

We were very impressed with the room. The beds were very comfy and the room was spotless. The only issue we had was the hotel was full and the breakfast room was too small. I would recommend this to anyone for the value received.

Had to pay for use of computer and it didn't work very well - staff were helpful but they were also frustrated with computer. Breakfast was just okay - nothing exceptional

The hotel offers great breakfast with waffles. There is a computer that you can get online if necessary oppositing from the front desk.

This hotel is a great value. Really close to downtown Vancouver which is less than 15 min away accross the Lions Gate bridge. The rooms are very nice for the price. I think the front desk could have been a bit more helpful though when we were checking in.

Very nice hotel well located for getting around Vancouver and Granville Island. We had a really great time and the last nite we were there we found a wonderful Greek restaurant--looked like a real neighborhood place and the food was out of this world.We'll come back!

The double bed room we rented for a week was very clean and comfortable, with a microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker which room service restocked every day. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Our coffee pot was broken when we checked in, but the staff replaced it immediately when we pointed out the problem, no questions asked. It's a short drive from here to downtown which is a beautiful city and there's also Stanley Park, the Aquarium, etc. The parking lot had limited space, especially on the weekends, and it's not the easiest lot to get in and out of when there's traffic about. There was an informative guestbook in the room containing information about many of the local sights and tourist attractions. If you're vacationing in Vancouver I suggest you check out the Smartvisit card (just Google Smartvisit) which I didn't find out about until too late but will definitely take advantage of next time.

This is a great place to stay, the internet didn't work so well and the breakfast choice was small but other than that the staff was cool, my room was clean,modern and well kept. The location is awesome for nature lovers (capilano an dgrouse mountain)and city people(stanley park and downtown vancouver right across the bridge). Good neighborhood ,really good price! I had to change my check-in date at the last minute and both the staff at hotels.com and the hotel itself were both helpful and understanding WITHOUT any extra fees or penalties.I will definitely stay there next time I go back the 'couve.

Convenient, Comfortable, Little struggle with traffic towards going to downtown but close to capilano, grouse mountain & Stanley park.

Everything was great except the breakfast room was a little messy and there was a little litter outside my room. Not terrible, but attention to something simple like this would have made a difference. Overall, very good and I will stay there again.

If you're looking for some out of the way but close to Lionsgate bridge, then this is perfect. Easy to get to and not far from downtown. Employees are very heplful if you need directions. On the down side, there aren't any places to eat within walking distance. Coming in off Capilano is a pain. If you don't bring your own computer, they charge you $2.00 for 15 minutes on their computer. Speaking of computer, the connection was very slow and you end up wasting 2-4 minutes waiting for your page to load. Breakfest room is small.

I staying in Room 115 and the wireless feed there was barely detectable, but there is a Staples just down the block, picked up a Cable and plugged up into the wall just fine. The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountians is really close to everything. My next visit to the are I will be staying there again.

We wanted a hotel that would be close to Grouse Mountain and have a kitchen. This hotel was both of those things. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only two things would have improved our stay: 1. All of the kitchen rooms have only double beds (no queens). Also, the bedding would not stay on the beds. Many times a woke up each night to find the bottom sheet had worked it's way off and I was sleeping right on the mattress. The bedspred was so slippery that it would not stay on the bed either. 2. The breakfast provided each morning was good and the kids especially loved the juice and waffles, but the room it was served in was so small, only about 12 people could sit down at one time. We ended up eating our breakfast standing up or taking it back to the room. The value for the price was good and we would stay here again, however, if they could fix their beds and the tiny breakfast area, this would be a great hotel.

Hotel staff was really helpful. Hotel is a bit far from downtown Vancouver, not much in the neighborhood in the area of restaurant, hotels continental breakfast was very nice and had plenty of variety.

The room smelled bad, but the bed was comfortable and the TV worked...kinda. Some graphetti on the bathroom wall and lack of decent coffee in the morning made for a less than awesome experiance.

This hotel is really good at its price. The location is perfect, you can go to downtown, stanley park, grouse mountain, lonsdale quay within 10 min bus ride. The crews are very kind and the breakfast was not bad. Recommend!

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, went above and beyond my expectations. Very responsive.

It is not Hotel. It is a Motel. Water line make big noise and the rest room is too small.

Did not run into any problems. Will meet your needs if you're solely looking for a place to crash. Easy to find from the Vancouver airport. Location is very close to major points of interest in Vancouver area - especially close to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. About an hour's drive to the ferry terminal that will take you to Vancouver Island. My only complaint is the walls are quite thin (able to hear neighbor sneezing/coughing).

This hotel was well worth the price. It's an excellent location for easy access to sites in North Vancouver.
