Hotel Eiffel Capitol - Paris

Good Hotel, close to shopping, Eiffel Tower and other things. If you are coming in on the metro/train, the closest stop is actually Dupliex! that is the area that this hotel is located. room was a little small, but worked for us.

The room is so small. It is almost impossible to take a shower in the bathroom. The service desk is very unhelpful. The location is ok near a Metro station but other than that, not a good hotel for what you pay.

This Hotel is near the Metro and not far from the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood looks OK but we witnessed two muggings while walking around. One was a wallet snatching the other a purse snatching. The Hotel Staff was friendly based on who was on duty. Two out of three were very helpful. The evening (not night) manager needs an attitude ajustment! The room was considered small until I stayed at some other Psris Hotels and came to realize that it was average. Being an American from Texas, we expect everything BIG! The maikd service did their joib and we came back to a relaatively clean room every night. I say, relatively because the hotel is trather old and could use a little maintenance. The Italian restaurant across the satreet was WONDERFUL and the manager a delight! If you are in this neighborhood and even it you do not choose this hotel, go see ALSO at the Pizza and Pasta Restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and that was too much. We came from the Hotel Du Louvre so we could experience another side of Paris. The hallway and room smelt so bad, I was reaching. The 'safe' had no lock on it. The wardrobe had cracks. The tiolet you could bearly sit on as it was tucked into a corner facing a sink so you had to st sideways. I cried when I saw my room, and I slept on top of the bed and I didn't trust it was clean. Our room was dark, small and had 2 very small windows about shoulder height which gave the pleasant view of nothing but a wall. I would not stay here again.

Tiny rooms, hair all over the bed sheets, TV didn't work, Staff was less than helpful. Wouldn't stay there again if someone paid me to.

For the rate I paid a night, there is a lot to be desired from the room. As far as the bed, it was comfortable, but that was pretty much the most of it. The bathroom was small, I had to open up the shower stall to use the restroom, because of the placement of the sink. The location of the hotel was nice, a cheap cab ride to the Louve and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. There was also plenty of eating establishments near the hotel within a quick 2 to three minute walk.

An excelent location in paris for turist and the service is great!!! For the price was a excelent option!!!.

The hotel was good value for money and a great location for the Metro and the markets. Those in reception spoke excellent English. The only criticism was no hot water one morning during our stay. Management was very apologetic.

Not too expensive, easy to find. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. A good option especially if you are in town on business. Wireless internet worked okay although sign-in procedure was a little confusing.

Great neighborhood pastry, deli and grocery stores are available so close!...and walking to the Eiffel Tower only takes 10 minutes! A lovely location.

The Hotel is well located in Paris, very close to the metro station. We were given the ground floor room, so there was the traffic noise by being so close to the reception hall/elevator. I don tthink is very commom to have rooms (2) at the ground level of a hotel. The room was big, clean but the bathroom was old. It needs an update.

Rooms are very clean w/complete private bath; Huge American style breakfast every morning (reasonably priced). The staff are eager to please and assited us in booking a theater performance. We will definitely stay ther again !!!

I read the reviews going in about this hotel and knew it was small. Heck, all hotel rooms in Paris are small unless you pay a fortune. However, the shower was unacceptable. It was about 2" by 2" with no shelf, so you have to try to squat down and pick stuff up off the floor. Also, on the 2nd day of my stay, the elevator broke down and wasn't fixed by the end of my stay so I had to carry my bags down the stairs. However, on a positive note, it was very near the metro station and was very clean. Also close to the Eiffel tower. Probably won't stay here the next time I visit Paris.

Great location, easy walking distance to Eiffel Tower and Metro system. Also near many bicycle stations. I would certainly recommended this hotel to other travellers.

This compact hotel, is in an ideal location. literally 6 or so streets from the Eiffel Tower. Loads of little cafe/restaurants right on the door step, with reasonable prices. As for the hotel, staff are extremely friendly and will help you as best they can with any enquires. Cosy rooms ideal for our needs, with a stocked mini bar ......heres a tip the alcohol in the mini bar is far cheaper than restaurant prices, you miht want to take advantage one night. overall would go back to the hotel and Paris tomorrow if we could.

I was there with my wife and it is very close to railway station and also near to Eiffel Tower. Hotel is small and room was little bit small but it nice and clean and their cafeteria food was good too.

The shower is 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 sq ft. No place to put a single suit case, anywhere in the room. They did, however, manage to squeeze in a mini bar, with the TV on top. Filthy carpets. Rude, unfriendly staff in the breakfast room. The "Business Center", consisting of a PC on a night-stand sized table in a hallway, was always down. They tried to charge us twice for breakfast/phone.

It was very central to all main attractions. We had a great time walking to each of them.

The rooms were way too small, the TV and lights did not work well, and the shower water didn't drain. While we were there for only three days, the elevator ("lift") did not operate twice in that time.

Service was for the most part excellent, front desk was very accomodating when we needed a cab to get to our flight the next day. Spoke good English (noting our French wasn't so sharp). Room was a good size (for Paris) but it was a bit dirty, notably the comforter. On check in, the front desk said breakfast was included, but then we were chaged 12 Euro each for a sub par continential breakfast. The area we were in wasn't the best (15th district) ... better to stay in the 7th district closer to the Musee D'Orsay, in our opinion

The price of the room would have been OK, if they had included breakfast, but 12 Euros extra was to much

Really liked the location of this hotel. The metro station was at the end of the street -- got us all around Paris with no trouble. The staff spoke very good English, which is great for someone who is shaky with their French. The room was very comfortable.

Carpets dirty, light bulbs burned out, light fixtures broken and buffet breakfast needs a lot of improvement.. The staff was great, very helpful.

Överkomligt pris, perfekt läge precis vid en metro station. En station ifrån eiffeltornet. Trevligt område med små mysiga restauranger.

This hotel is on a very nice place, near the metro, near the Eiffel tour. The breakfast is very expensive, but terrible. The coffee was cold and not nice. Breakfast outside is cheaper than the breakfast in this hotel.

hotel quite clean, room almost small but bathroom very very small. Receptionist has been very kind and clever. price too high for this kind of hotel and for the confort.
