Long lines to check into room then get to room and find out that it's not made up... Had to wait another 20 minutes to get a clean room. Everything else was good. Room was small but serviceable.

It took an hour of waiting in line to check in. Only one elevator worked, and you had to use it. There were no stairs accessible from the first floor (except emergency exits). The room was mostly clean, with some cigarette burns in the bed runner. The bed was comfortable and the location was good.

The hotel itself was ok, but I reserved a King/nonsmoking room and when I got there to check in, I was told that there was none available. I had to accept a queen size bed and a roll away. The shower had no water pressure and the tub had not stopper, therefore, I had to stand under the showerhead as the water trickled down to rinse after my shower. The pipes were noisy, so when the neighbor flush turned on the water, I was awakened. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

We booked the hotel on the day of travel. Online booking gave us free parking which saved us at least 15 bucks. The receptionist, Le Ann was very pleasant and went out of her way to help us out and suggest ways to enjoy our trip. Overall the room was clean and comfortable but did have signs of wear and tear. However, it is extremely well located and you do not need a car to travel around.Easily, one of the better hotels to stay in. One sour point was that there is a mandatory internet charge of around 8 dollars which we could have done without.

The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The location is very convenient for walking to many venues in downtown--not just the French Quarter, but also the Convention Center, Harrah's, and the Superdome. Don't plan on staying in your hotel room watching TV because the cable package is very basic. There is no HBO, ESPN, etc., but did you really plan a trip to New Orleans just to lay there and watch tv? No, there's no adult programming either.

The value for the money was excellent; we found a package that included the cost of parking which was the deciding factor when we selected The Queen & Crescent. The Q & C is not necessarily "fancy" but the location and ammenities make this a smart choice for the budget traveler. We did have a friendly welcome, and pleasant interaction with the staff overall. On the 2nd day of a 3 day stay our room was made up, but there were no fresh towels, TP or coffee left in the room which seemed somewhat deliberate. It was soon remedied and the remainder of the stay was very nice. We'd stay here again and recommend to others.

It was clean,great location,however the service was average..thevpuc did not go out of there way to make me feel special. Two lights were out in my room, they put me in a room that was already booked, and not the best valet service.

Overall, for the money, it was "ok". Since we did not stay in the room much, I was fine with it but if I needed more ammenities along with safety and comfort, I would not have chosen this particular hotel. It is conveniently located near the French Quarters and waterfront shopping so that is a plus. Again, couldn't beat the price but you do get what you pay for.

I got a great deal for a hotel in a great location. Its five minutes away from the french quarter and right inside the warehouse district. The French Quarter can get loud and way too busy at night, but the Queen and Crescent is located in a quiet area close to all the fun.

This hotel is in a great location. It's in walking distance from Harrah's Casino, Bourbon St. and the French Quarters. It's located in downtown New Orleans. Everything was very clean and it was very quiet. The only thing that was unsatisfactory was that the TV only showed a few channels and not the full basic cable. Other than that I think this hotel is a great place to stay if you're in the area just visiting. It's surrounded by great restaurants and tourist sites.

The room was very clean, but small. Good for two people but we were more. Did need some paint updated but when we were leaving they were painting. There was only a bar no restrurant. They nickel and time you for everything (parking and communication fees), but I checked and all of the hotels are I guess trying to recoupe from the hurricane. Over all Good.

Location is great, but parking was over $30 (not included in the price) and the building is old. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend, but use one of the parking garages for 24 hours at $10 instead of the "complimentary" valet service.

After a long day of air travel, our first room assigned to us was not clean--no bedding, a coffee cup with coffee in it still on the end table, etc. The second room only had one bed when we requested two. Finally, on our third room all was good and the stay was worth the money. It is the cheapest hotel in the area and still worth it even with the lack of service.

Never did get coffee for the in room coffee maker after repeated requests; finally found out they were out of coffee for both nights I was there - how do you run out of coffee?? Also, tub spout diverter didn't work and so shower was half shower/half bath and couldn't get comfortable water temperature - pretty much either all hot or all cold. Channel listing for TV was completely messed up. Front desk staff pretty much acted like they couldn't care less if anyone was staying there or not.

the hotel was great for the money and the bed slept great. Just a short walk to Canal Street and you are in the middle of the french quarter. I would stay here again.

My stay at the Qeen and Crescent Hotel was beautiful. Every member of the staff was great,and assisted in helping me find tours,places to go,and make a reservation to stay another night. My room was nice,clean,and well air conditioned. The Hotel itself is in a perfect location and within walking distance of everything I wanted to see and do.

When my husband and I opened the room door we were very surprised that the room was as small as it was. There was room for a TV armorer and queen size bed, that was it. I have gotta say though the room was very clean as was the bathroom. Everyone there was super nice and very helpful.

Met my expectations for what I paid. Nothing fancy but good enough to sleep in. Location was pretty good and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter to not be disturbed at night when sleeping.

If you are going to New Orleans and are not going to spend a lot of time in your room, this is the place to stay. Be sure to visit the World War II Museum while you are there.

This hotel need some fresh paint. They also said that they had free valet parking, worth $30. They had very limited free parking, so we ended up paying $30 for parking over the weekend.

We checked in July 17, 2009. The young man at check in was very helpful and very professional. It was a very smooth check in and very efficient. Everything was in order prior to checking in so it took all of about 5 minutes total. Also during our three days here each and every employee of the hotel were very friendly. We met two of the ladies cleaning the rooms and they were very friendly and asked if we needed anything. The front desk clerks always spoke to us even when we were just walking out the door. Very refreshing to have friendly and polite people to deal with. Thanks for a fantastic weekend Queen and Crescent. We look forward to another visit within the next few weeks.

Nothing real extravagant but great price and friendly people. The $30 parking voucher is only upon availability not guaranteed and there is a $7.95 resort fee which is additional.

Booked Hotel for free parking the price and location got to hotel they didn't have us in the system had to call hotels.com and get them to fax over the same info I had on my iPhone the girl at desk was very rude got the fax and she put us in the system wouldn't give us the free parking but when I went to pay she was like o talk the the other girl I'm off the clock now and handed us the room keys but by this time we were ticked off so we just went to the room and guess what we opened the door to find a family there getting ready for dinner so back down to the front desk to talk to the new girl who was very nice but sId they didn't have any more double rooms that were non smoking so she gave us two single rooms next to each other and every thing was better but one of the rooms didn't have a window but we got what we paid for but we don't think we would stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. From the first night we complained about the air conditioning not working. The front desk personnel visited the room 3 times and it was never fixed, nor did they change the room for us. Also, our room door was warped so it had to slammed to close, and literally kicked in to open it. There was also the issue with the key card not letting us in the hotel, we had to have new cards replaced twice just to get in and out.

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. When we pulled into the "valet parking" area and waited, I went in to request the service and was told by the valet that he was not a mind reader. (I guess pulling the car into the valet area was not sufficient) The hotel had no parking, so we had to pay $30 for the privilage and the internet and telephone fees were non-negotiable. There was a bath towel from the previous guest left in the bathroom, making me question the overall cleanliness. The room was tiny and had a fabulous view of a wall. The closet door was falling apart. This was supposed to be a "deluxe" room, so I really have to wonder what the economy one would look like. With all the hidden fees, we would have been better off choosing another hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
