My grandson and I were celabrating his 16th B-day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Pool clean. What more could you ask for?

For the price of the room it wasn't bad. The only thing that could have been better was the staff. They were on the phone the entire time we were checking in and didn't answer our questions. Other than that, good price for the location.

The location is great and the hotel was very clean. Bring your own toiletries because the ones they have there, which you have to request are far from designer as they advertize. Their comp. breakfast consists of a sandwich. Other then that it was clean affordable and very convenient if your visiting Disney World.

We had a nice stay, but when checking out we were to pay for the resort fee. There were several charges added to our bill. We did not use room service or their restaurant. When the desk clerk tried to explane what the charges were for I told him that we had used neither. He printed up another bill, this time there was a valet charge for 3 nights of parking and I told him that we had not used that either. That time he told me that is was someone elses mistake and that I would have to wait for his manager to get there. We were already late that morning, I was getting mad, then all of a sudden things were somehow "cleared up". I was disgusted being treated as if I was not supose to check over the bill, but just pay it. I can understand how extra cash is made by those very busy Hotel chains when they can throw on a few extra charges to an already very long check out bill.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. For the price it is pretty nice. There are a lot of things very convenient about this hotel. It is right near Downtown Disney and within 10 minutes to the Disney Parks. If you don’t feel like driving there are buses to the Disney parks that run frequently (I think every half hour) during the day. They are nice buses. It saves you the parking fee and driving ,if you don’t mind the few stops along the way to pick up passengers from a few other local hotels. Another convenience is the food downstairs, where they have a breakfast buffet (where you can make Mickey Mouse waffles,always a hit with the kids..and the grownups  ) and also have availability to eat up until pretty late. The pool area is very big and clean ,with lots of lounge chairs, and they also have a small kiddy pool. The beds and pillows in this hotel are VERY comfortable,which is a HUGE plus to me,being that one of the main things I do at the hotel is sleep. The room sizes are bigger than the average hotel around this price. There is free wi-fi. The one thing I LOVE about this hotel,is every room has its own private little balcony area,which isn’t huge ,but it’s a small table and two chairs,and enough space to relax with your significant other for a moment and talk while the kids watch tv and goof around inside. If you spend the extra money, the Disney view rooms offer a nice view of the fireworks show in the distance,which is nice to sit on the balcony and watch. The main thing I don’t like about the hotel is the bathrooms.There is no vent fan in the bathroom,so the bathroom gets super steamy and hot,and it seems that the bathrooms don’t have locks on the doors. What I do like though is there is a separate little vanity area outside the bathroom to use for doing hair,makeup ,etc while someone uses the bathroom. Overall this is a nice stay for the price.Just be careful not to get a room right next to the elevator as you can hear the “dinging” of the elevator bell p

Room was clean Bathroom didn't have a lock or fan bed was comfortable And in a great location

I've stayed in several hotels in the Downtown Disney area, and this is my least favorite one. When we arrived in our room, I realized we only received 2 room keys instead of 3 like I had asked for. This wasn't a huge deal, but it was something I had requested of the desk. Then, later we tried to get online on my fiance's iPod, and their wireless internet didn't work in our room. We found out that there was a keyboard associated with the TV so we thought that maybe we could access the internet that way. When we tried that, our remote for the TV had dead batteries, but it didn't matter because the TV didn't work when we tried to change the channels manually anyway. We only stayed the one night, and it was late, so we decided to let them know in the morning. When we told the front desk about the TV situation they brushed us off and acted as if we weren't there. Overall, there are better places to stay in Downtown Disney. Spend the extra money and stay at a different place.

The beds were very comfortable! Loved having a balcony in the room. The service was excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful! The food is excellent too! Even the food from the Express Cafe was excellent. Our stay was great!

Room was lovely, common spaces were very nice. Free Internet not provided in rooms. Obscene. Given that most people who visit here are not on business, free Internet would be appropriate.

good value, good location, few amenities

This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel in the last year. Whether we are going to Disney or Universal it is a perfect location! Pay the little extra and get a Disney View Hotel! It is so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks go off at all the parks while you are comfy in your jammies with a glass of wine, rather than fighting the crowds and traffic to get out of the parks at closing! Even my 7 year old daughter would rather watch the fireworks from the hotel. The beds are beyond comfortable, the hotel it a bit older and the bathrooms should be updated, but other than that it is a nice place to stay, with transportation direct to the Disney parks is a definite plus! So close to everything and the price is always right!

I had a voucher from hotels.com and decided to finally use it on this hotel. I usually stay at Best Westerns and have pleasant experiences but have never been to this one. It was during low season and I had double beds booked. I asked how much it would be to upgrade to a King, and I got it for free! Great service from the front desk. I did not enjoy the automatic daily resort fee they include for transportation to Disney Parks, parking, etc. but it balanced out with the upgrade I got. Breakfast buffet has PLENTY of foods and very nice servers and a great price. Amazing location within walking distance to Downtown Disney AND a popular shopping center called The Crossroads. Stay if you can!

Upon cheking in I was told that I had to pay a mandatory resort fee of $7.99 per day to cover for internet and transportation usage even though I did not have the need to use those services. This was a surprise charge because it was not part od the Hotels.com price. Beware.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel was very nice, nothing fancy, and offered adequate services you would expect at a vacation hotel. The on site restaurant offered a decent buffet at a reasonable price. The shuttle service to the park was convenient, yet made stops along the way. The only negative aspect of the hotel was the air conditioning. In our room we set it very low, but the room never got cold. It was even warm in the restaurant.

Comfortable queens size beds, very few toiletries, no music, no mini bar. Nice front desk people.

the Hotel was wonderful. Our room was clean and the pool area was clean as well. The only thing we were not pleased with was that we ended up being in a room with a wheel chair accesible shower which would have been fine, except there was a slope in the floor witch caused the water to run away from the drain. We had a lot of water all over the bathroom we had to mop up with everyone's showers. The location was wonderful and it was a buetiful area to stay in.

A little old but we liked the balcony and the pool was open 24/7

The location was great, but as far as we were concerned, that's where it stops. The front desk upon check in, suggested we stop by their customer service desk. They give you a couple of cheesy coupons and want to you go sit through their 90 minute presentation about their vacation club. The rooms look like the last time they were remodeled was at the end of the Civil War. If you could get the strength to open the sliding glass door to the "fully furnished balcony", they squeezed 2 chairs and 1 small table on the 3 foot wide deck for the family to watch the Disney fireworks. Then if you could muscle the door closed again, it didn't have a lock. When I tried to close the drapes, the rod fell off in my hand. If you wanted your room clean, you need to be out by 9am or the maids would move on. It was a good thing we didn't spend much time in our room or hotel.

The hotel was much nicer than I expected. Since I got a $25 food credit, it made the good breakfast buffet even better. The rooms were clean and the bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. We loved the shuttle service to the Disney parks. They met their published schedule and this hotel was the first pick-up so we had no problems finding a seat. We definitely will stay there again.

Would not take away a fee for cancellation of one room. I still needed a room but they would not accomodate.

We continue to stay at this hotel on many return visits. The hotel although recently refurbished with all new furniture, is getting tired and worn out, especially in the bathroom area. Many shower, tub, sink problems in many of the rooms. Plumbing fixtures are installed with controls reversed in several rooms we have occupied over the past few years. T.V. sets are obsolete and provide poor reception. Only floor #15 has In-Room refrigerators, which are virtually a standard item in most hotels today. A minor cost item but a great convienence that needs to be added to all rooms on all floors. Dining room staff, Kathy, Chris, Anita and Candy, plus Dennis and Jean are the best and our major reason for returing 2 to 3 times each year. Front desk staff has improved and are actually now accomodating and friendly. Valet parking is an overkill for this property and takes up the primary parking lot. Overall still a Good Value and Great Location. We will return again in October 2009.

As someone who travels fairly often, this was our first trip to Disneyworld. as most do, we were looking to have the best time along with being economical. my one advise is.....SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It was nice that there was a shuttle, but it was always late. try another hotel or stay at the disney resorts where transportation and meals are included. this hotel was very dirty and it amazed me how the staff knew nothing of the surrounding areas including the times of their own shuttle buses to and from the parks, what reseraunts were around (which they said there were none and the are plenty)..pretty much anything. although it was fairly cheap i am sure it would have been less of a hassle to go somewhere else. HEED THIS WARNING for your ouwn sake. 2 good things at this hotel: a) most of their food and b) walking distance to downtown disney.

close to downtown disney thats the best it gets, bar drinks way over priced and not very good. Room was ok nothing special. would not return to this property

We checked in on a Friday and the lady at the front desk was very pleasant. The customer in front of me was very upset at something but the employee remained calm and very nice to us. A previous review mentioned the room temperature as being very warm which it was. Even though we had the thermostat at 65 we were pretty hot but we did not spend much time in the room other than to sleep and shower so it did not bother us too much. The breakfast buffet was very good and my kids like making their own waffles.

This hotel is terrible. The air conditioner noisy and outdated. The water was hard to turn on and very loud. The people working here are rude and hung up on us when we were asking a question. The food was awful and I do not suggest the buffet. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that, look elsewhere.

Extra charges were disappointing. It added 10%.

This hotel is in a great location and it is a nice hotel, however the service is horrible. Our room was hot we dropped the temprature to 40 and the room was still hot. When we asked for a new room they said that they would call us as soon as another room opens. We were never called.

The hotel and restaurant staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was pretty nice, but the heat/ac didn't seem to work. Though the fan blew out air great.

Very nice staff, good quality for the money paid, convenient to Downtown Disney, Parks, Restaurants and other attractions. We loved the shuttle service to the parks and other Disney properties. It saved us time and money for parking and worry free driving. Buses ran every 30 minutes and 2 hrs after parks closed making it convenient to catch one to and from. Convenient and hassle free check-in and check-out of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good, again saving us time in the am to get to the parks. The bathroom could use a little updating, tub drained very slow while showering. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job, clean rooms and hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going down and we would stay here again. It was nice to have a Food and Beverage credit when we arrived as an incentive to stay here.

This hotel was outstanding for pool ckleanliness location and staff friendliness I would go back and would recommend it to anyone. Disney was just down the street the pool was warm and sparkling and the hotel restaurant was fine but across the street was 10 more great places to eat and a grocery store.

the only problem is A/C a little hot, no big deal
