Walt Disney World Swan - Lake Buena Vista

The hotel was great, the grounds beautiful,and location convenient.Have an issue with paying an extra $9.00 aday on a package we had no choice of accepting or denying.Even that would not be an issue if the cleaning staff would remember to leave the daily bottled water,coffee cups.This charge also included parking of our own car on the hotel grounds.You dont expect your patrons to walk to the hotel do you.

I was very surprised to have received such a great price for this hotel. We've considered booking there in the past, but it was very expensive! We actually are Disney Passholders and were not able to get the great rate that Hotels.com offered. My only complaint is they charge a mandatory $10 per day resort fee that is not mentioned until you arrive.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Swan. Our room was spacious, and comfortable. The hotel staff was accommodating. We especially liked its proximity to the boardwalk and Epcot. We think it was an excellent value for the price we paid and would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel with great ammenities. Great for both kids and adults with easy access to great restraunts and entertainment. I've been to several WDW resorts, and this is one of my favorites.

We stayed at the Swan for our honeymoon. The staff was friendly, and our room was fantastic - with a balcony overlooking Epcot. We were able to comfortably watch the Epcot firework from our balcony. The short walk to play mini-golf and to visit theme parks was a major perk. The grotto pool was also very nice. We plan to stay again in the near future.

Beautiful and very clean. Close to Epcot Center.

GREAT LOCATION EASY TO GET TO AND FROM THE PARKS. THE STAFF WAS GREAT BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE BOARDWALK.

The toilet overflowed at 4.30pm after 3 phone calls at 10.45 pm we finally had the mess cleaned up very disappointed, otherwise nice hotel

The room had a musty odor too it and felt very humid. I had to call security to unlock the room safe twice when it jammed. There was also a daily fee to park at the hotel as well as a Daily fee for the convienence of a telephone in the room.

I was satisfied with the hotel, good amenities if your staying in Orlando and doing various theme parks over several days. A good place to relax. The resturants are busy, so you have to make reservations ahead of time.

Perfect location for a trip to Walt Disney World. Shuttle service was fast and convenient to all parks. Toilet flush handle fell off on first useage. Should have been found by the cleaning person and fixed before assigning the room to gueats. Recommend stay for Disney patrons.

We got an excellent rate on hotels.com but I would not pay the average rate which is around $275/night for this hotel. It was a nice hotel and you can't beat the location and transportation convenience relative to Epcot and Disney Boardwalk. We got very lucky with the rate we paid and I'm not sure we would get that rate again. The pool is super and good drink specials at the pool bar.

We were on vacation with our two children, 7 and 4, and were very happy with our experience. The room was clean and comfortable and we all had a great time in the pool area (there are several pools to choose from). The only negative was that you can hear people in the room next door.

location perfect staff was very nice only problem was the air conditioning was not cold, we had to have maintenence fix it and then it was still never cold enough. also the mini fridge in our room had a terrible odor in it so we had to get that replaced too. its an older hotel but i felt it was a great deal for the price we got on hotels dot com. you cant beat the area walking distance to mgm and epcot. would stay there again with no hesitation.

Great Hotel, food expensive. We stayed there because we got a geat rate from hotels.com. Costs $10.00 a day to "self park" (that was somthing we didn't like). Very upscale.. Pool was unbelievable...

With having two small children 4 and 2 a standard room was a little small with all your gear. Access to parks was great and boardwalk was a short walk.Pool was nicely oversized and kiddie pool was great for the little ones. Great time

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff members were very friendly and able to answer all our questions. The shuttle buses pick you up at the hotel and take you to the different parks. Glad we stayed there. Will definitely go back. The only problem was with the plumbing. Water would back-up in the tub and sink. Felt like I took a bath instead of a shower with all the water in the tub. But other than that, we had a great time.

The Swan is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Service is good. But, The additional fees per day are an un-welcomed surprise. We were charged a $10 fee/day for 2 bottles of water and Wi-Fi access. And the parking is either $10/day for self park or $16/day for Valet. It seemed everything was an additional fee in the Hotel. For the price the Hotel was booked, I thought it was a good deal. But with these additional fees - not so much. There are many less expensive Hotels that provide the same service.

Loved the resort. Kids REALLY enjoyed the FIVE swimming pools.

I go to Disney probably twice a year and usually stay inside the park. This was my first time at the Swan and while a great deal for a very nice room my only complaint is the transportation to and from the hotel. Depending on the park we could be 5 stops from getting home or to a park. That was frustrating as the buses had so many people on them that we often had to stand because of the sheer number of stops and people heading that direction. Other than that it is a very nice hotel and it was a nice feature to actually have Disney transportation.

Very nice hotel with great location that provided more than what was expected for price paid. Only negative was cleanliness of linens found on beds. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price for all the amenities of a disney resort.

I enjoyed this hotel. The location rocked, the pool was so much fun. But for what this hotel usually asks for per night Im surprised b/c it wasn't that nice for over 200 a night. I got it on a deal so i didnt mind my price but oh my word!

My boyfriend and I stayed here. We went to all of the Disney parks. The ferry to Hollywood Studios and Epcot is very convenient, and the busses run frequently to the other parks. Hotel was quiet and clean, and room was a good size.

The Swan was just ok. Not as I was expecting. It was dated but the room size was fine. Not too kid friendly except for the character dining at the restuarant there which had character dining but only on certain days and times. The boardwalk nearby is good but only after 5pm, it was a ghost town before 5pm. Pool area was ok. Should be cleaned more frequently.

One Bus serviced the Swan (700+ rooms), the Dolphin (700+rooms) and the Boardwalk Hotel. At popular events like fireworks, opening and closing of parks, transportation was a nightmare. The other on site hotels had 1 bus per resort. Hotel was great, transportation - NOT.

This hotel was okay, but a bit disappointing as we expected much more from a hotel of the type. We were surprised that we had to pay ** a night extra for parking. Also, you might want to take your own set of fitted sheets for the bed as their flat ones kept coming off and made sleeping uncomfortable. The room was quite nice and we enjoyed the pools. Unless you want to spend a minor fortune though we suggest eating outside of the hotel or in the parks. Next time we will stay at a Disney Hotel.

$10 per person per day resort fee plus breakfast at $20 each is not staying economically for a one night weekend stay. We thought it would be nice and convenient but we didnt have time to enjoy the facilities. Better use is for an extended stay where $$$ doesnt matter that much because you are on vacation

Great hotel room overall! The hotel and room were very clean and the staff was very friendly. This was my second time staying at the Swan and I always recommend it also because of the location with the Disney Boardwalk right around the corner. Transportation to the parks is another perk with buses or water taxi.

We could have spent an entire day just at the hotel. The only thing I didnt like were the fees. Everything had a fee.

Very outdated smelly room...nice balcony but overlooked the roof top with massive oversized LOUD a/c units. There was valet but option to self park. We choose to self park but and had to find a luggage cart and carry our luggage to our room during which time valet insisted to keep our keys and when we came back down we couldn't find him to park our car and had to walk to dinner! It was not a good experience, I hear the pool is nice but we never made it there because we had to check out at 8:30 because housekeeping kept coming in our room until we left. We weren't supposed to check out until 11. And on top of it all they require you to purchase a package for internet/water and something else even if you don't use it! We wanted to have the experience of a Disney hotel, this is not at all what we expected.

We had a wonderful stay at the Swan Hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The facilities were exceptional!

This Hotel was outstanding in everything from cleanliness to friendliness. Very Nice experience when we checked in we were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge. Super convenient in relations to the Boardwalk Resort Area. We went for a weekend getaway not to go to Parks. Fantastic food not only in the hotel but in The Boardwalk Area. The prices were reasonable with very large portions at all the restraunts. My didn't want to leave. The rates were a bargain compared to the other Boardwak Resorts that are two or three times as much. We'll be back to The Swan we might try the Dorphin next time.

This hotel, WOW! If you can get it at the sale price. It is a great hotel! Our room was HUGE!!! and the Bed Wow soft and Inviting after a long day at the parks. A+++++! all the way!

My husband and I recently stayed a night at the Disney Swan and found it to be a very nice hotel with surprisingly good food at the pool bar next door at the Dolphine which is attached to the Swan by a long walkway. We were very pleased with the delicious artichoke salad and our beef steak and hamburger meals were very well prepared and presented for being at the bar area. I can only wonder how great the food would have been at one of the restaurants there. It was nice to have the choice of restaurant at either the Swan or the Dolphin so it was kind of like getting two hotels for the price of one. Plus the price we got was more than half that offered by Travelocity.com for the same night. Thanks Hotels.com. :)

The hotel was very nice. the only complaint I have was that I could hear the conversation in the next room and was kept up till 3 am. I don't know if I would go back because of that. Also I didn't like the fact I had to pay for parking and a resort fee which was an extra 20 bucks. the resort fee consisted of 2 small bottles of water and free internet which i didn't even use.

I was surprised at the low level of guest/customer service at this hotel. The daytime front desk staff (one man during a busy time) was insufficient, cold, and somewhat incompetent. It seems like the Disney name does not mean what it used to mean.

If going to DisneyWorld Epcot, a great location. One can walk right into Epcot as well as the Broadwalk, which hosts ESPN, shops and much more.
