This is a really nice hotel for business or leisure. Teh rooms are immaculate and the service good. Free wifi make a change for a business hotel, although they make up for it with the price of the food. Food is pretty expensive (although very nice), but there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby if you want to save money.

This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, sightseeing venues. It is also close to the cruise ship piers, but too far to schlep luggage--take a cab; it's not expensive. The Airporter shuttle stops right in front of the door, making airport access super easy! The front desk staff is knowlegeable and friendly. They even provided umbrellas during a recent rainstorm!

Very trendy hotel located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We were given a complimentary room upgrade, room very spacious and comfortable.

After a missed connecting flight which forced an overnight in Vancouver the Hotel was a superb place to stay. The Yukon Breakfast from Ogauls restaurant and the Room Service food were both first class. Staff couldnt do enough for you and the central location was great for shopping. Would I stop there again ? - Yes 2 days later on return trip ! thats how highly I rated it!

Great location, a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to Stanley Park. Hotel and room were nicely maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is lovely. The art throughout is fantastic. The staff from reception to concierge to cleaning were perfect. Location could not be better. We did not try the restaurant. I would definitely stay at the Listel next visit to Vancouver.

We arrived early, 9:30 a.m.; we were upgraded and were able to get into our room immediately. Staff were helpful and courteous throughout our stay. We will plan to stay there again when we return to Vancouver.

This hotel is right in the center of the action on Robson St. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The artwork was lovely and added a personal touch to the hotel. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

The hotel is nice but I was surprised to be forced to pay for parking. It was a steep fee for only 1 day. Wow. It would have been nice ti know that before I made the reservation.

Well placed for shopping and attractions, and good feel hotel. The associated restaurant, O'Douls, has very good food even if moderately pricey. The bedroom we had was spacious and clean. Airconditioning was a boon in the heat wave, quiet enough to leave on all night. Would go back again.

The staff at the Listel was great. they were kind and very helpful. The valet even left us some wrapped cookies in our car when we checked out! Bathrooms definitely need some updating as they were pretty worn. Would have loved a pool also but got along ok without it. Overall a good stay especially for the price.

This gem is located in a perfect location for shopping and eating. It's an easy walk to Stanley Park. We ate at two wonderful restaurants, Tapastree, and Joe Fortes, and walked to a beautiful movie theatre nearby. The hotel has a nice restaurant onsite, but we just enjoyed it one evening for drinks and jazz. The front desk help was always smiling and helpful. We'll definitely go back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Listel, where they see to your every need. The rooms are tastefully done, clean, spacious. Lots of artwork everywhere. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Worry-free, valet parking comes in handy in this busy neighborhood where parking is at a premium. Lots of great shopping and walking distance to Stanley Park. We would definitely come back. The cookies they give you when you depart are a nice touch.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and beauty of the hotel. Though we only stayed one day, we could see this is a quality establishment and highly recommend it.

This was the second time for us to stay at this hotel so it was great to be able to book through hotels.com. Since the hotel is affiliated with one of the Vancouver museums, it has some great art in the lobby, hallways, rooms, etc. The staff is very helpful and courteous. They were great at recommending places to eat and visit. The hotel is located at the end of the shopping district on Robson which makes everything convenient to walk to. We parked the car and walked everywhere. It was awesome. The restaurant below the hotel is very good as well. We had a room on the street side both times and you would think that the location would be noisy, but we did not hear any of the street noise.

Listel was very nice. Room was clean and larger than expected. Daytime hotel staff was friendly and very helpful in giving directions and suggestions on places to go. The only thing that I must give a negative comment to is the shower. Extremely low pressure.

Enjoyed stay, reasonable price, warm thoughtful staff

This hotel is not large, but very centrally located in downtown Vancouver. the room was nice, and very comfortable. What most impressed us was the service we received every time we asked anything from the desk staff. We did not have a car, and had not been to Vancouver before, and had two days to explore before leaving on a cruise. We stopped by the desk several times to ask about things to see or do, and they were always very helpful. They had maps and drew out specific directions so we could walk to most places. for things a bit further away, they let us know of bus stops, and even which bus number to get on to simplify our trip. One day, when it looked a little rainy, they even offered a free umbrella to borrow, just in case. We had a very nice stay, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have stayed at the Listel several times we like the friendly staff, the luxurious towels. the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. It has a special ambience and does not feel touristy. We stayed there for seven nights then went to Victoria for three nights on our return to the Listel it just felt like we were coming back home.

The Listel is well located for a weekend trip; shopping is steps away, as is Sushi at Miko's across the street. We took a lovely walk in the neighborhood behind the hotel on tree lined streets, visited the community gardens, and then brought our breakfast back to the hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay at the Listel again.

The hotel was conviently located in the Robson neighborhood of downtown Vancouver, with access to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Stanley park is only a short walk away, like 5-10 minutes. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was a solid value for the price, especially given the fact that you probably won't spend very much time in the actual hotel. The art/museum theme is not as "big" as the hotel advertises either. Overall, great experience!

nice art, great service. no problems

Everything was great aside from: Window was dirty. Check in person didn't advise me they have a contract for hotel guests with nearby gym. I also wanted to extend my stay for an extra night (sunday night), but they wouldn't give me the same rate. Clearly the room was available, as it was when I booked it on hotels.com and they wouldn't offer it with higher rate when I asked for it. It was also off season. I had to pack and move to the hotel next door. Why frustrate a customer and help out a competing hotel? They don't have guest parking like other hotels in the area, and charge $24/day, which I think is steep.

The staff were very helpful. When we arrived, my brother was not feeling well and the staff were kind enough to expedite a room for us even though we arrived a few hours prior to checkin time. The car valet service was FAST. As soon as we requested our car, it was just a matter of a few minutes. We also liked the free local and long distance calling. I would go back.

An excellent "boutique" hotel in central Vancouver, close to city centre yet with a "suburban" feel. Excellent restaurant and friendly bar, with good range of food and drink. Superb wine list, and very helpful and friendly staff. I will certainly recommend to friends and colleagues

Listel is very convenient to downtown. My room was very clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel has lots of character and every staff member was most helpful, including David (engineer/maintenance). Free wireless and phone service made all the difference. The little fitness room is adequate (although there's no remote control for the TV). The jacuzzi/hot tub was great. I would definitely return if I was back in Vancouver.

The location is very good. You can find very nice food at late night.

Well decorated, excellent service and a good location. The artwork makes it a little differetn too. However the slightly more expensive gallery rroms were much nicer than the 'ordinary' museum rooms. A good stay. Th ebar/restaurant downstairs (O'Doul's) is also great.

This modern hotel displays art everywhere -from the entry sculptures to gallery displays to one of a kind dinner plates in O'Doul's restaurant. The artwork makes a unique statement which sets the hotel apart from its cookie cutter competitors. Although the lobby is spare and contemporary, our room was very comfortable with a clever windowseat and all the amenities.

The Listel was a great surprise. In a great location with terrific staff and the art was a pleasant addition to the experience. The room was quiet, the beds soft and the window can be opened! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and stay there again myself.

Front desk and bell services were great and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was pretty expensive, but the surrounding area holds no shortage of great and diverse food options. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was firm, which is to my liking but may not be to everyone. I would have liked a microwave and a mini-fridge, but they were not included ammenities and I knew that going in.

The appeal to this hotel was the location. It was an easy walk or quick drive to many of the sights/points of interest. The hotel itself was decent. It was relatively clean and updated - nothing spectacular nor repulsive. The staff was cordial and left a small gift in our car upon check out, which I felt was a unique touch. I would agree with another review regarding the elevator key. It seemed to be a bit temperamental and thus, a bit of a pain.

Clean, comfortable and an oasis from the buzz of the city outside. Good location and nice bar with friendly staff. Rooms weren't quite as flash as public areas in the hotel but no complaints. There is a small gym and whirlpool which were nice.

The valet system is woefully inadequate and understaffed for the number of guests in the property. The staff tries very hard but the volume makes it near impossible for them to keep up. There really are no other long term parking options near the hotel. They elevator requires a room key to operate and it works maybe 30% of the time. Keep trying and eventually you can choose a floor. It's maddening but finally works.
