The rooms were comfortable and clean. The price was great.

Too many stairs to get to the room with several luggages.

Clean, cheap, basic!

I stayed at the Days Inn. It was ok. The toliet leaked a little when u flushed it. Other than that I was very relaxed. It is a central location to all stores and retaurants.

The room smelled terrible, stains on the floor, and when we checked in the person behind the counter looked like a homeless person.

Very pleased with the facility and staff, and would definitely recommend. Great location for getting to central campus UGA.

Room was dirty. Bugs crawling around in room. We stayed two knights,on the second day we had to go scrounge up some towels,coffee supplies,empety our trash cans ourselves. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very clean and quiet. Comfortable.

Specified a NON SMOKING room. They only had SMOKING rooms available when I checked in. Couldn't go anywhere else, since this was prepaid. Noisy residents, until 6AM.

Although close to UGA, it was in a questionable area and definately not worth the money. I also could not cancel my reservation 2 days in advance due to change in plans. The room's Air conditioning did not work, neither did some of the lights. A man came to fix it but it really did not do any good. would not return.

For an evening out at the 40-Watt or any of the other downtown Athens night-spots, you can't beat the Days Inn on N. Finley. It's an Athens institution, really!

I stay here every time I visit Athens, GA. The price is right, the sheets are newer, and I know where to request a room for the updated areas in the motel. The neighborhood is quiet and the breakfast area is clean & bright, with plenty of food. It beats the competitors at similar rates...I''ve tried several.

Only concern is that the management was quite rude when a fellow client tried to take some coffee and pastry back to his wife in the room. They apparently have a rule about no food or drink leaving the breakfast area. I can understand monitoring that but sometimes it is not possible for a guest to make it to the breakfast area. There should be better discretion used instead of penalizing everyone with a blanket rule.

Very noisy area, did not recieve wake up call, toilet would not flush, soap and ammenities were as cheap as could be.Ice machine broken had to go to mimi mart to purchase ice.

The Hotel is only about 2 blocks from the 40 Watt, so if you are going down for show, the location is perfect. The only problem that I had was that while I was taking a shower, the water turned to mud! Not sure if thats the hotels fault though.

For the one night we were there, this was an EXCELLENT choice. It was literally one block from the 40 Watt, which was our whole reason for going to Athens. The room could use updating, but overall it was what we expected. Everything clean and in good condition.

The room was clean and well stocked. The location was great--within walking distance of downtown and campus. We were there for a concert at one of the bars downtown and couldn't have stayed closer. The staff was efficient if not overly friendly. The free breakfast was about average for this type of hotel, but it was especially nice that they served breakfast until 11 since we were out very late the night before.

I was really impressed that I showed up 3 hours before check-in time and they still let me into my room.

the rooms was nasty the bed had hair and stains .....stay away...

This hotel was nothing I expected. Athens is a quaint little town with alot to do. We went to the football game and when we got back our room had not been touched. I travel alot with my company and have never had to go ask for more towels or coffee. I paid the high rate due to the game but will stay in a nicer hotel for the same price. The room was not clean and I don't think my comforter had been washed. I will not stay there again.

Deceivingly close to everything, clean comfortable rooms, kind staff, easy access...would stay again!

We were satisfied with the hotel. Room was clean; personnel were OK. I would stay there again. It was a good value.

Nice, inexpensive place to stay.

The pillows were hard as rocks as well as the mattress. There was a cockroach in the shower. The shower head had some orangish- brown crud on it, and there was a long hair in the shower from the previous guest. The room had a strange smell to it. The coffee pot was dirty. The staff was not polite, and lacked any skills relevant to their job titles.

Just needed a room for the night close to a convention. The room was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful - even offered to let my husband stay past check out time if he wanted when they found out he was just killing time until I was finished for the day. (He didn't, but the offer was appreciated!)

I just needed a place to lay my head for a night, but I was very pleased with the condition of the room. It was clean and the desk clerk was very pleasant.

The room was adequate, I was more concerned with availability and location.

Good value for the money. Great hotel for game day weekend. Rooms are so hard to get that are within walking distance to the stadium. Would stay there again. It is not the Ritz Carlton but you are not paying for the Ritz Carlton.

The only reason I stayed here was that I got a last minute room for the Georgia football game. Not the best hotel by far, but convienent to the stadium and downtown Athens. The room was overpriced and not very nice, but worked out all right for what we needed it for.

The price and location you cannot beat. However, the staff seems very unfriendly. And the service leaves something to be desired. When I checked in the front desk person was not very friendly and acted a little unprofessional. When we departed a bag was accidentally left in the room. When I called the front desk to notify them, the representative on the phone told me the maids had not been to the room yet and that he doesn't know anything about the situation. Even though I asked, he would not go to the room himself or send anyone to look for it. They definitely need to work on their costumer service skills.

Very disappointing stay. Hotel claimed renovated rooms, but ours must not have been one of those; it's decor was straight out of the '80s and although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of old cigarette smoke. Hard bed and pillows with thin, scratchy sheets and blankets. Our room wasn't turned for our second day stay, so we had to ask for extra towels. It also had VERY THIN WALLS, as we found out from 3:30-4:00 AM when our neighbors decided to rudely have a very graphic good time. Pool was ok. The one good point: It had one of the best continental breakfast spreads I've ever seen, lots of choices going beyond toast and cereal.

POOL WAS AWEFUL. VERY DIRTY. NO FILTER AND BUGS AND JUST WAS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. VERY BAD CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. CEREAL WAS IT AND JUICE AND MILK. SOME FRUIT. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I just needed a place to crash while visiting family in the area. The price was right, and I was able to move in with relatives after the two nights I reserved. The room was okay. The only big issue was the AC unit made a lot of noise. I'm used to this from staying at hotels and whatnot, so I just put the unit on high-cool and left the room for several hours. When I came back to sleep the room was nice and cool and I was able to turn down the cooling and just leave the fan on to drown out any outside noise (none heard). The neighborhood was good - I never felt that I, my belongings nor my car would be in any danger. The hotel is on a side street just off Broad St (Atlanta Hwy), so you have fairly easy access to walk or drive anywhere around Athens. I had no problem getting my laptop connected to the supplied wi-fi network. I never received one of those annoying click-through access agreements. I was a bit disappointed that the pool was out of commission during my entire stay. I was hoping to bring some family kids over to splash around for awhile, but there are many good parks in Athens & Atlanta that worked out well.

After reading some of the other reviews on this site, i was expecting a complete dump.. I guess those people thought they were going to be staying at the swankiest place in town, which this definitely isn't, but it wasn't bad by any means, just your typical, no frills hotel. For a few buddies attending some concerts at the Georgia Theatre this was/is the perfect location.. walk about 3 blocks down and you're there.

My overall stay at the days inn was so good I am thinking about booking there again in late may when I am in town for another overnight stay

THE HOTEL WAS A JOKE!NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AT ALL. I DID NOT SLEEP IN THE BED NOR DID GET ANY SLEEP CONSIDERING I WAS AFRAID TO. IT WAS LOUD ALL NIGHT OUTSIDE THE CLERK WORKING THE DESK WAS DIRTY AND RUDE. THE WATER IN THE TUBE WAS BROWN BEFORE IT TURNED CLEAR. IF IT HADN'T OF BEEN SO LATE AT NIGHT WHEN I ARRIVED I WOULD OF NOT OF STAYED. PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU CAN NOT AFFORD ANYWHERE ELSE. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!

I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn. The only thing that made me nervous was the area surrounding the hotel. But at any rate, I had a wonderful stay, and everyone was very nice, and the room was comfy considering I had been traveling for days.
