Our room was located in the back part of the hotel facing the garden and office buildings. We felt like we got a fantastic deal for the price until we met a guy in the elevator that paid $20 a night less on this same site and got a corner room on the 22 nd floor with a view of the water. We were still very satisfied as it was right across the street from the cruise terminal and the hop on hop off trolley stops right on Canada Place. We did not need a car because everything was in walking distance and what wasn't close transportation was very close. Great room for a great rate.

Others in my party paid over $50 more per night without using Hotels.com for same room.

went here with wife, daughter and her boy friend and we all had a great stay. we payed for the kids room as a birthday present and they could not thank us enough .great hotel in great location just away from main streets but in easy walking distance would recommend to anyone who wants a fantastic stay in vancouver.

We were delighted with the quality of the hotel for such a great price. We had a lovely, quite large, room with a view of the harbor. The pool area, restaurant and excellent service convinced us that we would definitely stay there again. We could walk to several great restaurants, shopping and catch a tour to just about anywhere.

Perfect location for those who are taking cruises to Alaska. The terminal is right across the street, and the bell staff will check your bags with the cruise line for you. Decor is pretty generic, but pleasant. Close enough to the shopping districts to easily walk there, but there aren't any interesting shops or restaurants right by the hotel.

This was our family's first stay hotel in Vancouver. We were joining a cruise trip to Alaska and so we picked this hotel which was just by the side of Canada Place. We just walked to the cruise terminal with our luggages after we checked out. This hotel was well kept and managed. Hotel staff were warm and helpful. We were more than happy to have chosen this hotel.

Although we only stayed one night, prior to our cruise, it was wonderful. Extremely comfortable, friendly, helpful. great view of mountains and water from our very large window. Had terry cloth robes for our use, they were a bit scratchy, could of used some fabric softner. but overall wonderful..

We stayed for the night before embarking on a cruise ship ai Canada Place. The hotel is literally only yards from the cruise ship terminal so made transfer very easy, particularly as check-out time from the hotel coincided with check-in time for the cruise! Hotel is bright, modern and has a good restaurant. Our room was on an upper floor and looked out over the port - even though we hadn't booked/paid for a harbour view!

Easy walk from cruise ship dock...plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby...hotel is luxurious with large room well appointed.

Everyone that we've met treated us with friendly but courteous ways and made us feel comfortable. They were eager to help whenever possible with making you feel bothered.

We loved our stay at the Fairmont Waterfront! Very centralized! It was also very close to our cruise port! Very convenient! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable! We would definitely stay at this location again!

I had my car and I would have appreciated having the parking being one elevator ride from my room. Instead, it was elsewhere and while I could have walked, I was with my mother and it would have been a pain. No extra cost for valet except for the tip.

Great service! Everyone was very helpful upon check out and check in. I will be staying again. Hot tub area was a little drab though.

Returing from a three week cruise and on our way to Victoria we we so happy when we were able to leave our five piece of luggage at this hotel overnight and then return the next night to find our luggage in perfect condition delivered to our room at the Fairmont Waterfront in perfect condition. This hotel is A-1 in every way from the bell hop at the front door conciere who gave us instructions and booked our trip from Vancouver right through to Victoria one bus ride and let us off in front of the hotel we were staying at in Victoria. We not only receive a wake up call at 5 am but they also gave us another one 10 minutes later to make sure we were up as we had to catch an early flight - got us a cab and off we were. The entire staff at the Fairmont Waterfront was outstanding....

We were booked into a "city" view and were upgraded to a Harbour view! We didn't eat at the restaurant as the prices were outrageous but we expected that. We will definately stay there again! The staff were excellant! The hotel is connected to a "food court" which is really nice too.

Beware - on top of the regular hotel charge, there are a bunch of unseen charges: parking - $30 per night (considering they feel they are not responsible for any damage, this is excessive) local calls - $2 per call - with an emphasis on LOCAL. Still would recommend the hotel however, it's a pretty decent place to stay.

Hotel was everything promised if you read the fine print. To interested reader: Be ware of specials as the special for room information implies that the what you ask for is a preference. Aka, one king with bay view can mean double with alley view. Hotel staff apparently is well versed in explaining this. Consumer looses, hotel wins.

It's good overall.

The staff was terrific, providing an affordable upgrade into a corner room with a magnificent view, suggesting the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to, etc. Location is terrific, walkable to Gastown, IMAX across the street. Everything exceeded expectations.

Nice view,clean hotel, very friendly staff, we had a great time. We will go back and stay at this hotel again.

The Fairmont Waterfront was a great hotel to stay at. This was my first time to Vancouver BC and was in a great location. Although the construction and traffic was a bit challenging, I would definitely go back.

We had a gorgeous room on the 19th floor with a panoramic view of the city. The hot tub and sauna were very nice, but it was too cold to use the outdoor pool.

A very nice hotel, very comfortable, well maintained, nice linens. A good area to get around, access to lots of good walking neighborhoods and shopping. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

NICE AMENITY HAVING LUGGAGE SECURED EARLY IN THE DAY ( HAVING JUST GOTTEN OFF CRUISE SHIP).

This hotel was outstanding in price,amenities, and service. The location is perfect for people who love the water and is walking distance to "Gastown".

This is a great location for access to Stanley Park and the Seawall. The weather was great and the hotel pool and spa were very nice. Major construction on the convention center accross the street was a minor problem for access to the Seawall but the hotel was 1st class. They were very effecient and even transferred our bags to the cruise ship for embarkation. Highly recommended.
