Hotel weit vor der Innenstadt, durch Metro L1 (bis Placa de Sants) und Bus 157 in ca. 1h gut erreichbar (bis vor das Hotel), letzter Bus ab Placa de Sants 23.30h! Toll: Klimaanlage, Küchenzeile, Pool. Schlecht: Keinerlei (!) Geschirr, keine Minibar (entgegen homepage), keine Geschäfte in der Nähe außer Tanke (hohe Preise, ab 21 Uhr kein Bierverkauf erlaubt), Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant zum verträumten Preis von 11,50€ - Nein, danke! Wie gesagt: reicht zum Schlafen zum moderaten Preis in einer sensationellen Stadt.

sehr lautes Hotel; Die Zimmertüren schlugen ständig laut zu. Keine Nachtruhe, da man jedes Wort aus den Nachbarzimmern mithören konnte. Komplette Küchenzeile vorhanden, aber ohne Möglichkeit etwas zuzubereiten, zB. eine Tasse Tee. Frühstück: gut, allerdings war das Rührei oft kalt und der Speck nicht knusprig. Zu laute Musik im Speiseraum; teilweise war der Raum wegen Klimaanlage eiskalt. Servicepersonal freundlich. Das Zimmer roch muffig und verraucht.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr weit von der Innenstadt Barcelona entfernt - man fährt ca. eine Stunde. Die Verbindungen mit Bus und Tram sind allerdings ziemlich regelmäßig, es gibt auch Nachtbusse. Ein Taxi zwischen Flughafen und Hotel kostet ca. 20 Euro, tagsüber lässt sich diese Strecke aber auch gut mit Zug und Bus erledigen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, die Einbauküche ist ein dickes Plus. Das Personal ist freundlich und kümmert sich in Beschwerdefällen gleich um Besserung. Die Zimmer waren augenscheinlich sauber, jedoch hat sich beim Barfußlaufen im Zimmer die Fußsohle etwas grau gefärbt... Der Übernachtungspreis war sehr günstig, bei vier Nächten Verweildauer bekam man die letzte Nacht kostenlos. Ideales Hotel für Leute, die zum Besichtigen der Stadt morgens nach Barcelona fahren und nachmittags oder abends ins Hotel zurückkehren - mehrmals am Tag möchte man die lange Fahrt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln wohl nicht machen.

Leider ist in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft eine riesige Baustelle. Es wird ein Krankenhaus gebaut. Das dürfte noch ziehmlich lange dauern. Die Fenster sind schallgedämpft, was die ganze Sache erträglich macht.

Das Hotel ist für Stadturauber und Umgebungserkundler ideal. Wenn man einen Mietwagen hat, gibt es hier immer einen Parkplatz ohne Gebühren. Das Centrum ist mit dem Bus für 1,30 Euro direkt vor dem Haus in ca. 45 Minuten erreichbar. Die Aussicht des Hotels ist nicht gerade sehr angenehm (Baustelle) aber es ist auch kein Hotel zum Badeurlaub mit Aussicht. Das Preis Leistungsverhältniss stimmt allemal. Für Selbstversorger steht eine Küche bereit die alles beinhaltet. Klima und Heizung laufen gut. Schlafzimmer und Wohnberech sind getrennt. Internet ist kostenlos über W-Lan. Küchenutensilien (Töpfe etc.) können bei der Reception kostenlos ausgeliehen werden.

Es hat alles gestimmt! Check in, Service, Check out, Hotelbeschreibung trifft genau zu. Frühstück war sehr gut.

THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY CONVENIENT FOR GETTING INTO TOWN, WHCH WAS VERY HANDY. THE VIEW FROM HOTEL WINDOW WAS LOVELY. THE ONLY DIFFICULTY WASE THE LACK OF ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF, WHICH WAS FRUSTRATING.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is far from where the Barcelona action is but we have no problem at all taking the tram which is just one block away and then tranferring to the Metro. It only takes about 35-40 minutes to get to La Rambla. The tram is very clean and modern. Also, one can get a discount by booking the breafast buffet the day before for a very reasonable price of 8.5 Euro. It was a nice place to stay and you get to see the real Barcelona too.

The hotel itself is very good. The main problem is its location. To come back from the city centre and return took almost 2 hours. The closure of part of metro line 5 didn't help! The swimming pool is surrounded on all 4 sides by high rise buildings.

The hotel is great and we were able to get an amazing price on the room for 4 nights. The only downside is the location. Buses bring you close but it is a pretty good distance from any of the sites in Barcelona. You are easily an hour or longer away from all of the sites. One night we stayed out late and had to walk an hour from the closest metro stop at night. Kind of a hike. The neighborhood is really nice and there are a few bars and restaurants less than 5 minutes away. Everything being said, unless you are looking to really save money, I would stay closer to downtown.

could do with a saucepan or kettle with cups and tumblers to use with cooker to make tea or coffee each morning

This was a fairly decent hotel for the price but it was ridiculously far away from everything we wanted to see and do - just a warning for anyone wanting to go to old Barcelona and Las Ramblas etc. Also there was a lot of construction work going on right outside the hotel so it was loud the whole extent of our stay.

Apartment was clean and well maintained, accommodation and price good. The hotel is out in the suberbs, with lots of building works around. If you like to go out very late, you would be too far out to get back late at night. However for the price was reasonable and the accommodation well maintained, comfortable and clean a good deal

My husband and I spent four nights at this hotel it was great value for money although it was a distance from the city centre it was easily accessable by Metro and Tram. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. The rooms were spacious. The rooms were cleaned daily without any disturbance to us.

kWe were very pleased with the Hotel. We had very nice room and it was very clean. The front desk lady during the day was very helpful and pleasent. I would stay there again if we ever go back to Barcelona.

Although a bit far out from the centre of Barcelona there was a bus stop outside the hotel that was very regular. Also the whole transport, metro and trams were very good. Didn't expect a breakfast, but they were doing a special of a breakfast for 7.50 p/p. Boy what a breakfast! Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Great value for evening dinner. 3 course meal for 11.99 p/p. Comfortable and spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel. Would love to go back.

Bus fare is so cheap. The hotel is very accessible, just a few meters away from the bus stop.

Great staff - awesome having an apartment with a kitchen for self catering. Loads of room and a gym was a plus. Would recommend - just be prepared for a fair journey to Barcelona downtown (but worth it!!)

The hotel was fantastic, i think it was over than three starts rating. It was apartment style,there have open kitchen in the dinning room, the bedroom was great big space.In the hotel graden there have swimming pool. The reception provied the booklet for traveller which was make easy for travellers to travelling around city cetre and taking matro. The hotel was quite far from city centre but it was close to the tram station. The breakfast was great, but staffs working in resturant wasn't friendly at all, I had very bad services when i was having my breakfast every morning, sometimes very hard to find the forks and knifes on the table.

The price was very low, so I was surprised at the high quality of the hotel. I was very pleased, and would go back. The only difficulty was that it was not near the city and was difficult to get back to without a car.

Very nice staff

English-speaking tourists beware! Although the night staff of this hotel appears to be highly proficient in the English language, they appear to resent having to use it. We found the evening desk clerk to be sarcastic and at times, insulting. Since the Hotel restaurant is closed on weekends, we had to seek food elsewhere. There are no decent restraunts within walking-distance for families with children, so we ordered pizza to be delivered using a firm that the Hotel recommended. They refused to place the order for us (even though the employee answering the pizza company's phone could not speak English), and when 1 of the pizzas arrived burned, they initially refused to help us communicate with the restaurant. They only did so begrudgingly after the restaurant asked that I have them call. 90 minutes later, we got our replacement pizza. If you want to drink a beverage from the honor bar, you have to take it down to the front desk to use a bottle opener. The Hotel is located off of the highway, in an area undergoing a lot of construction, so it is very isolated. We stayed 1 Saturday night, and heard what sounded like fireworks going off and several loud explosions during the night. To get to the Metro, one has to walk about 7 blocks to get to a tram station with an automated ticket booth (be sure to have lots of change or a credit card with a PIN number, and again, brush up on your Spanish, as there are no other languages offered by the machine) and ride the tram to the closest Metro station. We wound up hiking back to the Hotel and taking a taxi into town-about 13 euros. I would NOT recommend this hotel to families or anyone who would like easy access to dining or transport into downtown Barcelona. We did not feel particularly safe here, and the night staff was very inhospitable.

It is about 35 minutes by TRAM and METRO to get to downtown. NOTHING close as far as resturants! Hotel is in a residential area. We were hoping to be closer to downtown but worked out okay cause TRAM was close.

The hotel is about 20 minutes away by car from Barcelona downtown and the airport. I rented a car and I was able to conduct business quite conveniently. Taxi from the airport to the hotel is relatively expensive same to the city. Renting a car was very good option for me. There is also a tram connnection close by and buses but I did not use it. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and considering the variety of food not very expensive. The hotel location is not good for partying people there is nothing around to buy food or to party. I enjoyed my stay there and will return in the future.

For the price, the room was very large. It was clean and the neighborhood was safe. However, it was a long bus ride into Barcelona. If an hour long bus ride to and from your hotel to get into the heart of the city is acceptable, then this hotel is great.

As I scanned hotel.com for rates and read reviews, I was dubious. But....for the price....as compared with Euros, it was a gift. We had two huge rooms, kitchen, living room and huge bedroom. The European flavor, ceramic floors, marble sink and bath, I was overwhelmed. Restaurants are not convenient, but we found a lovely pastry shop around the corner, not expensive, and someone spoke English We ate there every nite, sandwiches of course, but hey, we were in Europe, and that's what counted. My partner has difficulty with his legs, and the bus was right in front of the hotel to downtown Barcelona. Don't miss this hotel because of the distance to town. (approximately 40 minutes, but consider it sight seeing.

The room was a strange setup with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. Cleanliness was the big issue. It looked like noone had stayed in the room for 2 weeks or more. Dustballs, stale air, and worst of all, the sofa looked like something you'd find in an old frat house. We wouldn't even put our suitcases on it. Fortunately, we were staying for only 1 nite before flying out, so it was a decent location, fairly close to the airport.

We really enjoyed our room, it was comfortable and modern and very roomy. We will definitely stay here again.

We were impressed with this hotel as we were not sure what we were going to get - after paying cheap rates. Hotel has free wi-fi in the rooms, and has a little kitchen which has fridge, cupboards, microwave, sink and hob. Phone reception (9) and ask for kitchen items to be sent up. Swimming pool is only open in summer. Gym is basic but free - ask for a key from reception. Bar is very friendly and was well presented, we didnt try the food there but there are a range of options, bar snacks or meals in the restaurant. Within local area there is a grocery shop, pharmacy, quite a few eating places and bars. We found it best to get the barcelona card from town and it gets you free public transport and into many attractions.

if you want to get downtown cheaply you need to walk about 20 mins to the tram station and bring coined money or a credit/debit card, no bills restaurant is limited, and you are better off eating elsewhere make sure you speak catalan or castillian for best service from hotel staff

As a family of we stayed at the Hesperia Sant Joan in Barcelona. The 2 bedroom family condo met the sleeping needs of us all. Very spacious and comfortable. We knew the hotel was "out of town", but the 1 hour bus journey to the city centre became tedious. By tram and then metro it only took 45 mins. Not a good base for this type of city break. Although we spent very little time in the hotel, there wasn't even tea or coffee making facilities provided. Breakfast wasn't included and would have cost 10euros per person per day - needless to say we didn't bother. Clean and friendly but way out of the way, with nothing nearby. By the way the swimming pool only opens from June. Disappointed!!!

A little bit of traffic noise but we were on the highway end of the Hotel. Very good service and clean. The price is great. The king size bed was firm.

The room itself wasvery spacious. We were looking for a room that would sleep 4, which is not an easy feat in Europe!We had a two bedroom suite with a living room. It was obvious that Eoropean families and international business people frequent this "apartment-style" hotel. The room's have a small kitchenette and a great breakfast buffet downstairs. The lobby is simple and there aren't bellman. The staff was very helpful and quick to service our needs. The room could have been a little cleaner(mildew in the grout and our white socks turned black walking on the floor). If you're a clean-freak, think twice. If you're not, it was fine.

Ci sono molte cose positive da dire: Tutti giorni vengono a pulire la stanza, ti cambiano gli asciugamani, nella terraza c' è una panoramica esplendida di tutta Barcellona (si sei nei ultimi piani), ti danno gli asciugamani per la piscina che è abbastanza grande, la palestra, il bagno turco, l'idromassaggio, la zauna sono impeccabili. Veramente non mi aspettavo tanto di questo hotel, considerando che ha 3 stelle. Ci sono solamente due cose negative che ho da dire di questo hotel: 1. Nel reglamento generale dice che la piscina è aperta fino al 31 settembre. Io ho voluto fare il bagno entro il 16 ed il 25 Settembre e mi hanno detto che la manutenzione era già finita da qualche giorno. Cosa che non mi ha gradita!!! 2. Solo c' è un'unica persona nella reception tutti giorni a qualunque ora. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo dovuto aspettare la registrazione di più di 30 persone che erano in gruppo. E non era coincidenza perché durante i 10 giorni che siamo stati nell'hotel sempre è stato cosi.

Consiglio questo hotel a chi non ha problemi a girare con i mezzi pubblici bus e metro. il metrò dista una mezz'oretta dall'albergo e si chiama "Maria Cristina". iIl bus che bisogna prendere per spostarsi in metro è il 7878, la fermata dell'autobus rimane davanti all'albergo. buon viaggio a tutti!!

Hotel dans zone calme, appartement spacieux, un peu à l'écart mais le bus est au pied de l'hotel et direct pour le centre ville. Le tram, à 5 minutes à pied, permet l'accès direct à l'avenue diagonale et au palais des congrés. Seul hic : connexion wifi instable de notre appartement...

tres bon hôtel dommage que l'on ne parle pas en francais et rien écrit en francais

Negativo: pulizia lascia desiderare (in 4 giorni i pavimenti non sono stati mai lavati!). Positivo: Facilmente raggiungibile coi mezzi di trasporto pubblici. Camere triple spaziose, con angolo cucina.

Hotellet er helt greit, men det burde vært ryddet i utlånssystemet av kjøkkenutstyr. Der var det mye rart. Kanskje litt langt fra sentrum, men gode kommunikasjonsmidler. Legg gjerne reisemåte til hotellet ut på nettsidene. Hotellet kan også lage litt mer info om nærbutikkene rundt hotellet.

Je conseille c’est hôtel a toute les personnes qui séjourne a Barcelone, très proche de la ville, calme bon accueil service au top attention pour le parking interdit au grosse limousine !!! Je viens souvent a Barcelone je sais maintenant ou je dormirai.

Discreta struttura, dotata di una buona piscina e di una ottima sala palestra, ampie le camere, personale disponibile e gentile, peccato che la pulizia delle camere non è al livello della struttura.

Hotellet ligger et stykke fra centrum. Men det ligger godt, Rolige, Sikre omgivelser. Ingen støj fra veje eller biler. Vi blev ikke antastet som på Ramblas og vi følte os sikre ved at gå på gaden. Der er rigtige gode offentlige forbindelser til centrum. God lejlighed, God seng og aircon. Morgenmaden var velsmagende og rigelig for billige penge. Er meget tilfreds og vil afgjort benytte mig af hotelet igen, hvis min vej falder forbi.
