Das Hotel ist schon etwas angestaubt. Die Internetkosten sind laecherlich hoch.

sehr günstige Lage, schönes Haus

Ein Tuch das wir auf dem Boden gelegen ist (sollte bedeuten 'Bitte wechseln'), wurde wieder zusammen gefaltet und als 'sauber' aufgehängt. Das Tuch war an einer unverwechselbaren kleinen Spur, die von unserer 4 Monate alten Tochter hinterlassen wurde, deutlich wieder erkennbar.

mein Aufenthalt im Mercure war nur sehr kurz: morgens um etwa 10 Uhr kam ich völlig übermüdet an, froh, dass das Hotel gleich am Westbahnhof liegt und deshalb auch vom Flughafen schnell zu erreichen ist (Bustransfer). Da wollte ich nur noch schlafen - aber genau das ging nicht: das Zimmer war erst ab 14 Uhr frei! Auch sonst war ich mit dem Service nicht so ganz zufrieden: wenigstens am Tag darauf wollte ich ausschlafen und hab den Weckdienst an der Rezeption auf 11 Uhr bestellt - geweckt wurde ich aber zweimal durch das Putzteam, um etwa 8 und 9 Uhr. Dafür war aber der Standart im Zimmer angenehm: das Bett nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich, das Bad relativ großzügig und gut ausgestattet (Fön, verstellbarer Vergrößerungsspiegel, verschiedene hochwertige Körperpflegemittel und ausreichend Handtücher) und das Zimmer selbst unaufdringlich neutral möbliert. Störend waren hier nur die Kleiderbügel, deren Haken an der Stange fixiert sind und deren Bügel nur nach langem getüfftel ausgehakt werden können. Dadurch kann zum Beispiel kein Kleidungsstück zum Lüften ans Fenster gehängt werden...

Das Haus macht einen sehr abgewohnten Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind mit alten abgetretenen Teppichen ausgestattet - keine wahre Freude. Da macht auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht viel wett.

Nach einer 6-tägigen Fahrradtour von Passau nach Wien mit unterschiedlichen (selbst organisierten) Unterkünften war diese Unterkunft erholsam und man kann schon sagen LUXUS.

The rooms are pleasant enough but the if you request a non-smoking room, avoid level 4 (rooms 1-30), as you are actually right above the level 3 smoking rooms and get all the second hand smoke rising strongly to level 4. While the hotel changed our room away from the smoke, there was no consistancy in the "standard" rooms provided. The first room was a king, with fan and safe and while we were told we were getting an upgraded room now with air con, the second room was only a twin, & had no safe, with a window that didn't quite shut properly to seal out the traffic noise and a bathroom door that again didn't quite shut without force. Frankly, for a 4 star hotel I was dissappointed, as many 3 star hotels I've stayed at were much better. However if you aren't spending much time in the hotel then the location is great with the train network right next door.

The hotel is very convenient to the Westbahnhof and to the airport bus that leaves from there. It is not, itself, in a great neighborhood. It is a short walk from the Mariahilf Strasse. However, being near the Westbahnhof also places it near several sex shops and "less savory" establishments. We ate dinner at the restaurant and found the meal delicious. We were there at a time when air conditioning (or even a fan to bring in the cooler evening air) would have helped. As it was, the room was nearly too hot to sleep in. For what we needed (a place to stay between taking the train back to Vienna and leaving from the airport the next day), it was excellent.

It could be that it was really cold during our visit that made the distance to the city center seem far but it's not centrally located. The hotel is clean and the staff is really helpful.

Great comfy hotel in Vienna. Would stay here again for sure.

Clean room, good location right next to the metro station. A little cramped but what do you expect for the price. Good parking for an additional fee. Good place to see Vienna from if you're on a bit of a budget

I travelled with my 9-year old grand-daughter, with a trip to the zoo being the focus of our trip. The hotel was ideally situated: a half-hourly airport bus service stopped just across the road; Westbahnhof gave us a huge choice of rail, underground and tram routes on our doorstep to get to all parts of the city, yet we were untroubled by traffic noise. The beds were firm and comfortable, the bathroom clean and well-stocked and the staff were really helpful and spoke excellent English. Very good selection at the breakfast buffet and children eat free. Minor criticisms were limited wardrobe space and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (but this is common in Austria). I would definitely make this hotel my first choice if visiting Vienna again.

La TV italiana non funzionava e per 4 giorni consecutivi ci hanno assicurato che avrebbero provveduto ma tutto cio non è avvenuto. Il bagno sprovvisto di accessori (esempio cuffia doccia etc) Grosso problema le tende oscuranti non erano ben messe infatti alle 06,00 sveglia obbligatoria. Lato positivo di fronte la metro per raggiungere tutti i luoghi d'interesse
