Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon - Paris

The title says it all. While I wasn't really using the carpet other than to walk on, it is a shame that an overall pleasing hotel experience be let down by stained, dingy, dirty carpeting everywhere. In the rooms, hallways, common areas. Other than that, the location is fab and the service very good especially for Paris.

The hotel is 3-star but more like 1,5 star in reality. The hotel is a sunky especially the rooms. In need of redecoration. Service is pretty lousy. Breakfast trays were left in the corricdor for some 24 hours! We will not come back. Not value for money!

If you're either departing from or arriving at the Gare de Lyon train station in Paris, this is the most convenient hotel you'll find. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and speak English very well. There's also a great breakfast available. It is one of those chain hotels devoid of personality, style or any sense of grace, but it is a terrific option for a one or two night stay. Do be careful of the elevators -- the doors don't have sensors and close quickly. I was traveling with my aging in-laws and they had a tough time moving fast enough for these elevators.

The hotel is located is located next to the Gare de Lyon with access to several metro lines. Also, it is located within walking distance to Paris hot spots in the Bastille area.

Small rooms with no views in a less desirable section of Paris... Bathroom was fine but room is dated and color choice is horrible orange... OK for an overnight on the way to your desired location... Great proximity to Gare de Lyon!

Séjour d'une nuit seulement, chambre au 7e étage, très silencieuse, spacieuse, très propre, bonbons et bouteille d'Evian sont des petites choses appréciables. Seul bémol : le prix rédhibitoire du petit-déjeuner (17 euros), que nous n'avons d'ailleurs pas testé... même gargantuesque, ça fait cher ! Situation de l'hotel on ne peut plus pratique car jouxte la Gare de Lyon. Consignes modernes (et gratuites !) pour le jour du départ. A conseiller donc.

vi blev inte imponerade av rummen däremot trevlig personal och bra läge för den som skall resa vidare samt en jättefin restaurang intill otellet namnet Le Train Blue, för dålig kvalite på rummen hotellet ej prisvärt

Dans la Gare de Lyon pratiquement, très utile pour poser ses affaires en arrivant du TGV, avant de repartir dans Paris. Chambre petites, mais agréables et propres

Chambre impeccanle, hall de grand standing, petit dejeuner copieux . un regret : la restauration n'est pas au rendez-vous des gourmands
