Hotel was in a prime location and the room a good size, particularly for Paris. Stayed near the Ritz, Westin, etc. for much less. Great food nearby.

Stayed there in April, and we really loved it. The employees were all more than helpful and spoke English. It's within easy walking distance of Tuilleries, the Opera, The Louvre and the Seine. Two metro stops less than 4 blocks away. Pleny of restaurants nearby. The restaurant was closed for renovations during our stay, but there were plenty of other choices nearby. Place Vendome is filled with upscale store, so the window shopping was top notch.

My wife and I chose this hotel for its past reviews, and to splurge on a place for our 10th anniversary. It truly did not disappoint. From the architecture to the staff support, it was a wonderful place to stay. The Place Vendome area surrounding the hotel is also a wonderful place to shop, and dine. An added bonus is the proximity to the Jardin Tuilleries, and the Louvre.

Hotel Vendome is a very nice urban property in the heart of the upscale shopping district of downtown Paris. Easy walk to all major attractions, great cafes, and public transit. The room was beautifully appointed and quite comfortable. Service was perfect in all respects.

Hotel is nice, the room was a good size, and the staff friendly. Plenty of great food choices very nearby as well as a number of sites to see. Would stay here again, particularly with the great hotels.com rate.

No faults except restaurant being refurbished. (not currently open). Beautiful woodwork, stonework and room. Bit pricey...

Loved the location, service, and decor of the room. We liked the smaller size of the hotel, as opposed to a larger, less intimate complex. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Luxurious accommodations were great for a vacation.

Gorgeous room with luxury bath! Very helpful staff - to make reservations, recommend restaurants, get a taxi, anything you need.

Everything was superb! The only criticism I have is the price for breakfast. We spent 81 Euro for pancakes, eggs, coffee and hot chocolate.

I recently spent two days and nights with my partner on a romantic trip to paris, staying at the Hotel de Vendome - the hotel made the trip quite frankly .. The room was a delight, and included electronic control of lights, music and curtains, great for techno bums like me !! The overall service provided by the staff was courteous, swift and efficient. Everbody was very friendly and happy. We didnt eat at the hotel so I cant comment on the food as such, but the breakfasts' were great !!! The area where the hotel is situated is very expensive and exclusive, being situtated in the jewellery quarter, just off the place vendome. There are many small, classically French restaurants in the area and it is only a short walk to the nearest Metro. We will definitely be staying there again.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Vendome for 4 nights and had decided to stay in a suite (Room 205) Anyone who wants to spoil themselves should request this room it was fantastic. A huge bed, very comfortable. 2 toilets and a large bathroom with twin sinks, excellant toiletetries provided. The room was maintained in a descreet manner and we would often come back in to find bed turned down with the nice touch of a couple of chocolates left. We had breakfast in our room which was of excellant quality and set us up well for the day of shopping and sightseeing. The location of the Hotel was excellant for lots to see, and only 5mins walk from the river. The bar area was relaxing and welcoming for either a coffee of an evening drink. We had dinner at the hotel which at first glance you may not think to but I can't rate the food highly enough and I'm a difficult one to please. Overall the stay was the best I've had in years and will definately be looking to go back soon. It would make a nice weekend break for valentines day or if you just want to relax and get away from the stresses of the day. The Hotel can arrange transfers for you as we went when the Metro was not running and I contacted the hotel the night before and they were efficent in arranging a transfer from Gare de Nord for us.

The quality of the room (the quiestest I have ever known in a major city) was excellent and matched by the helpfulness of the staff. Great location for walking to all the major attractions. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

My husband and I, along with another couple, booked the Hotel Vendome online with no recommendation from anyone. We were thrilled with the location, the ambiance, the quality, and the service. We have all agreed this is our new Paris home!

A wonderful little gem in the midst of everything !

Nice ambience, fantastic location... well worth a visit!

Ett elegant litet hotell med god service och trevlig personal. Detta femstjärniga hotell är dock i praktiken ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. När jag frågade efter transport till flygplatsen så påstod de att det var flera år sedan någon använt "the airport shuttle". Eftersom jag hade lite svårt att tro på detta gick jag över till Le Grand hotell alldeles nära och ställde samma fråga och fick genast svar på min fråga. Bara två kvarter från mitt hotell fanns en mycket billig flygbuss som går direkt till flygplatsen. Sängarna på hotellet är ok men inte något speciellt. Sängarna är dessutom två decimeter för korta och då är jag inte ovanligt lång (1,84) och kuddarna är inte heller speciellt bra. Badrummet var mycket fint, men det var lite svårt att komma över den höga badkarskanten - ett trappsteg saknas uppenbarligen. Rummet saknade också strykjärn, men det ordnades snabbt när jag frågade efter ett. Frukost ingick inte heller, men en ganska blygsam frukost erbjöds för ca 270 kr / person.
