The Skyline Inn - Niagarafälle

Hotel beherbergt viele Familien. Direkter Anschluss an den Waterpark. Zimmer gehen direkt von einem Überdachten Innenhof ab. Etwas hellhörig. Fenster nur zum Innenhof (nicht nach draussen).

We arrived after midnight yet we were promptly checked in. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was large with 2 new double beds and was immaculately clean. The mattresses were wonderfully firm. It had just been redone in shades of espresso & taupe. The location was quiet..but just a 5 min. walk to Niagra Falls and all of the action. The Perkins Restaurant in the lobby served a great breakfast well as lunch. The indoor Water Park is upstairs..great for families with kids. Take advantage of the bus pass to attractions along the Niagra River and the Falls.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and loved it. It is very clean and spacious, the staff were very nice and knowledgeable. I would stay here again.

The location and rate were excellent. However this has to be the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I am not talking about noise from other guests but about water and plumbing noises. A flush of the toilet sounded like a tsunami in the bedroom. Running the shower in either the adjacent room or the one above is guaranteed to wake even the deepest of sleepers. Two nights of hardly any sleep, I would never stay there again.

Would definetly stay there again. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff very accomadating and friendly. Close to everthing.

The Hotel is close to everything (Casino, waterpark, and a block from all the attractions. The bad side is that they do charge you $11.50 per day for your vehicle parking. We have a one year old son and they have no microwaves in the rooms, so every time we needed to warm up his milk/food we had to walk all the way to the front desk, and that was very bad. The garden view is not worth getting, You pay extra for a view that should be part of the stay since most or all of the rooms have no view to the street.

We were very happy with our stay at the Skyline Inn with the exception of the noise. There were alot of young children staying there and their parents allowed them to run freely through the halls and courtyard areas.

Overall the employees are very friendly and the location is very convinient. However, I found the price to be higher when you consider that you have to also pay for parking separately. The parking in the building is always full so you have to park across in the parking lot and that can be a headache. Book your hotel weeks in advance for the best rate. If you care for a better others will be better.

We just got back from four nights in Niagra Falls and would highly recommend The Skyline Inn to families traveling with small kids. It may not be right on the Falls but it is close enough to everything. We used the outdoor pool at the Sheraton and our 8 year old loved the waterpark. Breakfast at Perkins was kind of pricey but a quick walk to Tim Hortons provided an affordable breakfast. Our only complaint was the noise level coming from the room above us...calls to the front desk each night got us results but if I stayed there again I would ask for an upper level room to avoid this potential problem. Bring good walking shoes as the hills do a number on those travelers who may not be in the best shape. Restaurants are pricey...we ate at Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe and Boston Pizza. There are cheaper alternatives but do you really want Wendys or Burger King on vacation? There is so much carnival type of activity you forget that you came to see the natural wonder of the Falls themselves...If you want romantic this probably is not the place for you. But for family fun, The Skyline Inn is the best place to stay.

Good location and value. Worth noting that the courtyard rooms can be a bit loud, but the hotel enforces quiet times from 11pm-9am, which helps. But there's a nightly movie for families shown in the courtyard, so if hearing this will bug you, you should pay more for a non-courtyard room. (We just went out for a few hours to miss the noise.) Of course, if you're traveling with kids, this is probably a big plus.

It was a nice hotel. Room was clean, and staff friendly. What didnt like about the hotel was paid parking and internet kept on breaking. It about ten-twelve minute walking from the Falls. Nice place for family, and its connected directly to the water park as well.

Great location, the Casino is close along with great places to eat and numerous bars. Room was a little on the small side but it had very nice furnishings including a fridge which many more expensive hotels do not have. Definitely recommended to anyone. Will stay there again.

The location in this hotel is great. We were able to walk everywhere and even make it down to the Niagara Falls area. For all you who are able to walk a lot, this location is for you. Of course there are cabs to take right next to the casino. I was a little disappointed that you had to buy a water park ticket to look at the water park. But I guess you would have to at any water park. The hotel was peaceful and comfortable. The price was on a special so it was a great deal for the accommodations.

Great location, easy access when crossing the border. Older hotel,little drab looking. Bathroom small (it's a hotel) but very clean. Attached restaurant was only OK. Staff really friendly.In garage parking. Lots of attractions for kids and adults just a block away.

The Skyline is in a great location because it's a quick walk to all of the kitschy shops and attractions on Victoria St. but far enough away so as not to be noisy. Good value for a basic clean hotel room and comfy bed. The comforter on one of the beds, though, did not appear to be clean so I told the maid I needed a fresh one. the blankets are threadbare; they need to get new ones and new towels. The towels are usable but have seen better days. The front desk (Michelle) was very pleasant and helpful to us, as was Helen, the concierge. There's no bell-boy so be ready to put your own luggage on a cart and bring it to your room. The parking is indoors and we never used the car once we were there, so never lost our spot. It can get packed fast though. We never did use the pool available in one of the nearby hotels but it was a nice option. Oh, don't go to Perkins, the restaurant next door. We had a terrible and expensive breakfast there. Go to Falls Manor on Lundy Lane which is past the end of Victoria (drive or take a bus). Great breakfast, great service and reasonable prices. The SkyWheel was fantastic; what a view at night! Did Maid of the Mist on the NY side because it's a little cheaper and less of a wait. Journey under the Falls was fun but very crowded and had to wait over an hour for our appointed time. Overall, the Falls were beautiful but the surrounding area is so like a poor imitation of Las Vegas, it's sad. Never saw so many Wax Museums in my life!

Other than the bleach smell from the adjacent water park, the stay was great. The rooms were clean, with a nice modern decor. Unfortunately we got a room facing the roof so that was less than aesthetically pleasing, but we didn't mind since we came to see the Falls, not the hotel. One gripe I have is that parking is not included and you have to pay extra.

Compared to hotels right next door or down the block, this hotel is a great value. It is within walking distance to everything you'd want to see. It was very clean and nicely updated. They have movie night in the courtyard which was right off our room and I thought it would be noisy. We didn't hear a thing. I would highly recommend this as a great value hotel and would stay here again on our next visit to Niagara Falls.

Hotel, was greatm a very good location we really enjoyed not having to walk to far it is right next to the casino and about a block from the falls.

the room was very clean and very comfortable. it is very close to the falls about a 5 minute walk. the only thing that i didnt like was that i had to shell out another $10 for the parking upon arrival - i didnt check for that when i booked thinking it is only logical that they provide the parking if you are going to stay there. but other than that it was pretty good for the price

The hotel is a bit old and run down. A lot of room don't even have windows to the outside. The window overlooks an indoor courtyard. This place is connected to the water park which is nice. This plave seems to be in a great location but it is a hike over to Clifton hill (especially if you have kids in a stroller). Our keys to the room stopped working twice during our visit. Not happy about this - when you make the hike back to the room with babies you expect to be able to get right into your room, not walk all the way to the lobby and stand in line for new keys.

Pretty good for the price. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Location was ideal though. My main issue was with the parking. Paying in advance for parking doesn't necessarily guarantee you a space, first come first serve on a daily basis. So, if you don't need to move your car, I wouldn't!

This hotel is very family friendly. They show movies nightly in the courtyard for the kids. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very clean. It's a short walk to the falls from this hotel. Casino is close by for the adults. Clifton Hills is around the corner for the teens. Perkins is right next door. Everything is available to all ages right at your doorstep. And then there's the beautiful falls!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Located very close to Falls Avenue. Parking at the hotel is limited; if you have to use the parking garage across the street, you can't have easy access to your car.

We are very please with the hotel. The room is nice and clean. There are lots of fun attraction within walking distant from the hotel.

Great location, but sometimes very noisy!

The room was good and clean. The front desk employees very nice and helpful. The parking garage was small and tight. The hallway and elevator slight smell of oil or something.The youth church group Friday night and a boy's baseball team on Saturday night were running around the courtyard being annoying and noise. This hotel has a reputation of getting large groups of kids.

The name "Skyline" is a little disceiving as you won't get a view of the falls or anything from this hotel (most rooms don't even have a window to the outside). The hotel is located right behind the Casino, so the falls and all the other attractions are just a short walk. I stayed at the hotel one night as I was passing through the area with my girlfriend. We picked the hotel because of it's location and price. In hindsight, I would have preferred spending an extra $30 on a more rommantic, nicer hotel, as the Skyline is much more of a family oriented place. If you have kids, it's perfect; everything is enclosed and all the attractions are close. If you don't have kids with you and you're in Niagra Falls, go ahead and splurge on something nicer.

The Hotel is in a very good location, close to almost everything but the noise from the plumbing system was terrible. It only happened 2-3 times and lasted 3-5 minutes each time but you couldn't hear yourself think while it was going on.
