This hotel is located in a good neighborhood...very Parisian! I have been to Paris several times on business, but this trip was personal. Staying at this hotel, I was able to get more of a native feel of the city... stay here if you want to get a chocolate croissant and coffee a stone's throw away from the hotel...or a late night dinner or glacee. So convenient. The macaroon rooms in the hotel are also very tempting. Rooms are a bit small, but this is indicative of all of Paris.

Just came back from a stay at the Hotel du Cadran and absolutely loved it! Fab hotel, really modern and immaculately clean. Rooms were air conditioned which was great at it was boiling outside. Outside there are bars and restaurants which is good if you are looking for a late night drink. The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the Eiffel Tour which is great for getting around. Would DEFINATELY go back to this hotel and recommend to anyone.

This hotel has a great location! Not only is it 5 min walking distance to the Eiffel Tower but there are plenty of cafes and little markets in the area. In addition, there is an awesome bakery in the corner of that street. Will definitely stay again in this hotel!!!

We arrived in Paris via Eurostar and transferred to the hotel using the Metro - very easy. The hotel is a five minute walk from the nearest metro station (Ecole Militaire - Line 8 heading to Balard). The rooms, although small, were very comfortable and as shown on the hotels website. The bathroom, again small, but perfectly formed and the air conditioning worked fine. The hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood with nice cafes a few steps away and the Eiffel Tower a short five minute stroll. I am returning to Paris in September and hope to stay at the Hotel du Cadran again.

Great hotel on the basis that the rooms are comfortable and most of your time is spent sight seeing. Agree rooms are on the small side (it is Paris!), although they are really comfortable and the position is excellent. Did not have breakfast in the hotel (did not even visit the basement where it is served) because there are great cafes nearby where you can sample cafe society! I stayed with my 11 year old son and the hotel was a great position for the Eiffel Tower. We parked our car at the Joffe car park - was a bit concerned to leave it there but it was fine for the 48 hours of our visit. Also, we did the Fat Tire evening bike tour which meets at the Eiffel Tower and their shop is only 10 mins walk from the hotel.

This hotel is in a really nice neighborhood. It is close to the Eiffel Tower, but not that close to many other attractions, such as Notre Dame. We walked to that area numerous times, but it wasn't exactly a short walk. Everything in the hotel was really new and clean. The room was small but nice. There was a grocery store across the street and a bakery at the end of the street, which were both convenient for breakfast. The only negative parts were that many of the staff didn't speak very good english, and there was loud construction going on on the street next to the hotel.

The hotel was in a great part of town. Close to Metro stop (3-4 blocks), Eiffel tower (8-9 blocks) and right in the middle of a great collection of small restaurants, open markets, and small shops. The hotel staff was exceptional. If fortunate to go to Paris again, I will stay here.

This is a lovely hotel in a very nice area of Paris near the Eifel Tower. Lawrence at the Front Desk is an absolute gem. Friendly, efficient and always eager to help! The rooms were just remodeled and are beautiful. Managment has plans to complete the renovation by upgrading the lobby and we can't wait to return to see it when it's all done. Would recommend to anyone!

Tiny hotel. Rooms very small but very modern and recently refurbished in a modern contemporary style - very nice. On a quiets side street with lots of pavement cafes near by. Perfect for a couple who did not require the facilities of a large hotel but still need a healthy pinch of style

I stayed at this hotel with my father during a one night layover. I wanted to find a hotel close to the Eiffel Tower, but not ridiculously expensive. This one most fit the bill. The hotel was a smaller "boutique" hotel with a friendly reception and modern, newly renovated rooms. The front desk spoke perfect english, were extremely attentive and friendly, and provided excellent suggestions during our limited stay. The rooms are very small, however I think that's pretty typical with the area hotels. The rooms/hallways were very clean, new, and modern. I enjoyed my stay.

Bewertet von P aus Polbeth am Jan 30, 2008
A small but comfortable hotel situated about ten minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and only a couple of minutes from the nearest Metro station. There's a lovely street market a block away selling fresh foods which is not to be missed. The hotel staff don't speak particularly good English but they are pleasant enough. We had a double room and it was pretty much what we expected, reasonably clean and nicely decorated. We also had a nice view of the many nearby restaurants. The breakfast room was charming and does a good continental buffet. We'd be quite happy to return here, mainly because we found it to be value for money and close to the main attractions of Paris.

I thought we might get a room facing the eiffel tower, but none of the rooms have a good view anymore I've heard. The staff at the front desk where wonderful! I can't say this enough. There was a small market across the street, a cheese shop down the street and a bakery at the end towards the eiffel tower. The next street over toward the metro stop was a market street, which was very romantic around super time when everyone was going to the different shops to gather everything for their meal that night. Fresh everything!!! Best of all was the full size bath tub, I am 5'3" and hand about 6" to spare! The bed had only a hardish matress, no boxspring, but I think this is a common practice in Europe. Paris in the fall was amazing, I did not want to leave this hotel. ( Subway is about 5 blocks away bring directions.) when you get off the subway walk strait and when you see the map of paris ignore it, but walk across the street diagonly to the right and cross the first one and take the right onto the next. Then look for the street the hotel is on( to the right.)

No frills, but the staff was friendly and helpful (directions within Paris, reserving a taxi for airport transfer, etc.). Room was tiny but clean. Bed was very hard. Location great for 7th sightseeing. Neighborhood full of cafes and shops. This is not necessarily a tourist haven - regular every-day Parisienne neighborhood.

The receptionist was very helpful. My high school French is over 30 years old and very rusty, so she was able to explain to me how to find the key sites for the one and a half days that I had to see Paris mostly in English. The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance and can be viewed from the streets around the hotel. From there, I walked to the Arc de Triomphe, ate lunch in a cafe on the Champs Elysees, walked passed the Louvre since I spent the day prior in the museum, and then walked to Notre dame Cathedral. A very long walk, but I enjoy walking. The metro was very easy to navigate back to the hotel. Upon request, the hotel provided me with a hair dryer and a power converter/adaptor. Continental breakfast was free and offered an ok selection. I would definitely stay there again.
