InterCityHotel Wien - Wien

Wir verbrachten ein WE in Wien, dieses Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, auch bekommt man Ticket´s für alle öffentl. Verkehrsmittel. Die U-Bahn ist gleich ums Eck. Zimmer und Bad war sauber und ist ok.

Wir waren im August da, es war sehr warm. Da das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hatte und zur Sonnenseite lag, war es nur schwerlich im Zimmer auszuhalten. Das Zimmer lag direkt zur Straße, so daß man das Fenster wegen des Lärms nicht öffnen konnte. Ansonsten haben wir vom Hotel nur positive Eindrücke mitgenommen. Siehe auch die obige Bewertung.

Ein modernes Hotel, in dem man auf nichts verzichten muß. Das Zimmer ist konzeptionell gut eingerichtet. Es wird ein exzellentes Frühstück geboten.

Die Idee mit der Netzkarte für die Wr. Verkehrsbetriebe ist ausgezeichnet.

This would be a good transit hotel because it is right by Westbanhoff, the train station, but it was a little bit of a walk to the museum district. It was right by a lot of shopping though, so if that's what you are planning to do, then this is the hotel for you. The rooms were nice, but no aircon during the summer was not that pleasant. It wasn't intolerable though. The breakfast was a nice buffet.

The rooms were nice, very helpful staff, and the breakfast was very good. Convenient location and short walk from train station.

Clean, confortable, great location, terrific breakfast, nice reception staff. Exactly what I need in a hotel.

Great location in Westbahnoff. Easily accessible by the "U", the trams, and your feet. Clean room, free apples at the desk and, I'm not kidding, free in-room telephone service. A nice long stroll to the Museum Headquarters. If you're a walker you can make it but if you want the "U" will get you there in a few minutes.

Our stay in the InterCity Hotel Wien was only overnight, but it was a welcome surprise at the end of a group tour of Eastern Europe. It's location close to Westbahnhoff suited our purposes, but it also meant very easy access to all parts of Vienna. The hotel facilities were excellent and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We just wished we could have stayed longer.

The hotel was fine apart from the air conditioning in the rooms which was under sized. Our room was vey warm. My complaint however is the credit card room phone system. I was charged 117.5 Euros for 4 calls to the UK with a total time of six and a half minutes! I had to make the calls because my mobile had been stolen and there was no information about the outragious charges in the room or given when making the call. Be warned.

Attention certaines chambres sont orientées en plein sud,sans volets extérieurs et sans climatisation avec ouverture de fenêtre possible mais donnant sur une rue passagère et bruyante... Donc attention l'été... Le changement de chambre a été accepté pour la 2eme nuit dans une chambre calme et à l'ombre.

Posizione eccellente (vicino alla fermata della metro Westbanhof), ma tranquilla. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, staff sempre gentile e disponibile. Un problemino al check-in quando sembrava che la colazione non fosse inclusa. Problema risolto la mattina successiva. Consiglio di stampare la mail di conferma di hotels.com per evitare disguidi.
