Einfach und sauber

Zimmer äußerst einfach ausgestattet und sehr klein (Bett, WC, Dusche das wars). Personal sehr freundlich. Kostenloses Frühstück erfolgt a la carte - Trinkgeld wird erwartet. Sehr zentrale Lage - Innenstadt kann man zu Fuß in ca. 0-20 Min erreichen. Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe nur gegen Gebühr.

Budget hotel in a great location with an incredibly nice staff and a very decent breakfast. Sure you miss some comfort in the small rooms (some kind of a wardrobe would be nice) but if you just sleep there as I did it is perfectly sufficent. Most importantly the rooms are very clean just as the bath. As others mentioned the walls are really thin though. You really do hear everything that is going on in your neigbours rooms. The staff is incredibly nice and the breakfasts are very decent. All in all I recommend this hotel as a budget tipp. Do not expect great luxury but you can expect a decent place to stay overnight.

Das Hotel Champ de Mars ist günstig nahe der "Altstadt" von Montreal gelegen. Die Zimmer sind klein und vom Standard eher einfach, aber sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal war freundlich. Im Preis inbegriffen war ein leckeres Frühstück. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel empfehlen, es ist sehr einfach aber dafür auch sehr preiswert.

Rooms are a little small for extended periods of time but one or two nights would be fine. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choices off the menu. There is not parking at the hotel itself. A garage with decent rates is located just .2 miles south on Rue Du Champ-de-Mars. The metro station Champ-de-Mars is within a 5 minute walk. Overall, the hotel is in a great, central location. Definitely a great choice if you'll be spending time in Old Montreal.

The hotel was ok. We didn't spend much time there since there is so much to do in Montreal. The location of the hotel is excellent, right near everything! We would start our day off with a excellent, fullfilling and complimentary breakfast at the hotel. The only down side of the hotel are the beds!

the location was excellent .. yes the room size is small but since i had read other reviews i was not surprised. all the staff members we encountered were friendly and most helpful. the choices of breakfast were also excellent. we definitely plan to return to this same establishment in the future.

wonderful place to stay for a short Montreal visit, although the rooms are small, they are very clean and tidy. A Delicious Breakfast is included with the hotel rate and the staff is so friendly which makes the stay so worth.

It was pretty comfortable and great for a one night stay.

My girlfriend and I went up to Montreal for the weekend, and had a great time. For the location, right on the edge of Old Montreal, the price was great. The rooms were small, and the bathroom smaller, but, the price was low and we only needed to sleep there, so I felt the value was great.

Good location but small rooms and you can hear guests in other rooms. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend for a cheap citybreak hotel as long as your expectations aren't too high.

Small, quiet and cozy hotel. The staff is polite and helpful, and the breakfast is very good! The rooms are small, but we go there to sleep not to hang out in the room. If you want to hang out inside, there is a lobby with a couple couches and a TV, as well as the attached restaurant with a bar and a small lounge area. I've been to this hotel twice and look forward to going back again. The location is great too!

Rooms were small, and not well sound proofed. The location was excellent, near the vieux-port area, and close to a metro stop. A full breakfast was included and was excellent.

If you're looking for a cheap hotel and not planning to use your room for much more than sleeping and a shower, this is a great hotel to choose. The room was tiny, and the tv had no remote and very few channels, but who cares if you're going to go out and have fun? There is plenty of things within walking distance, and its not too hard to find a metro station. The free breakfast in the morning was better than that you might find in hotels in the US. It also was fairly safe - the stairway that leads to the rooms is always locked, and the door to the hotel locks at night. The room we stayed in had a broken chain lock on the door, but we MacGuyvered it with a hanger from the room. It's really great for a cheap weekend away.

Very well located, very small rooms. No parking in hotel (despite description). Very decent breakfast (included).

For the price we paid, it was definitely a good hotel. Right in Old Montreal, it was a quaint little spot. But the rooms are tiny. If you brought several (or even one, really) suitcases, after your climb up the stairs you'd be even more upset to find out there was only space in the room for the bed. For a place to sleep it was great, and the breakfast was excellent, considering it was included. The only downsides were that the bed was somewhat uncomfortable, and when we called to confirm there was free parking, they said there was, in a garage. However, when we arrived, there was free street parking (on the weekends only) and a garage that was not affiliated, so of course, we had to pay for that. So despite the claim, there is NO parking at the hotel, per se, but it is possible to park near the hotel (although the woman at the front desk suggested we not park on the street)

The "double deluxe" room was so small I could just about touch both walls with outstretched arms. One bed blocked the heater. The room had not been cleaned before we checked in, and was not vacuumed the whole time we were there. They sprayed some horrible smelling air freshener in the room every day, but the windows don't open so you just have to deal with it. The staff was indifferent to customers, most made it seem like you were bothering them even if you just said "bonjour." The location isn't close to anything. I really don't know why this place is even listed by Hotels.com.

The room was not much bigger than the bed. No closets or storage. Large bathroom, though.

Le plus gros défaut de cet hôtel est la soufflerie qui n'est pas réglable! Le petit déjeuné inclus est assez copieux. Sinon l'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir les rue du vieux Montréal.

L'avantage c'est qu'il est bien placé par rapport au Vieux Montreal, la déco est sympa mais le confort assez spartiate et le petit déj commence à 8h.
