Dieses Hotel ist perfekt für einen Trip nach London Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich sauber und liegt sehr zentral Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auch sehr gut beraten Das Zimmer war groß genug für zwei Personen insbesondere weil wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, so spielte dies keine große Rolle Die Zimmer waren sauber und angenehm Das Hotel liegt zwei Straßen vom Underground und einem Starbucks entfernt Das Hotel war für den Preis den wir zahlten perfekt und ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen für einen drei-fünf tägigen Ausflug nach London

Ich war im Mai 2009 mit meiner 10jährigen Nichte in London und wir wohnten im Garden View Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch zentral, die Verkehrsanbindung, sowohl per Tube als auch per Bus, könnte besser nicht sein! Das Hotel selbst wird überaus freundlich geführt. Das Personal war durchweg über die Maßen entgegenkommend und die Ausstattung der Zimmer war schlicht, aber nicht einfach, geschmackvoll und voll funktional. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier wohnen wollen! Ebenso habe ich das Hotel bereits mehreren Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfohlen und werde das auch weiterhin tun.

Hotel ist in ruhiger zentraler und sicherer umgebung

ich würde immer wieder hier einchecken. wenn man eine nette Bleibe für einen mehrtägigen London-Trip sucht, findet man hier genau das richtige. die zimmer sind absolut ausreichend und sauber und mit einem angemessenen Frühstück kann man jeden Tag von der Ubahnstation oder der Busstation fast direkt vor der Tür in wenigen minuten im Stadtkern sein...

Das Zimmer war klein aber fein. Das Frühstück war inordung. Das Personal lässt aber zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten für den nächsten Tag ein Taxi bestellt, doch wir hatten uns in der Abfahrtzeit des Busses nach Stansted geirrt. So sind wir am nächsten Tag eine halbe Stunde früher runter geganegn, dort wurde der Mann an der Rezeption total unfreudlich, was uns einfallen würde.

Ein einfaches hotel, dessen vorteil ein kleiner preis und die nähe zur city ist. Das frühstück bestand aus toast, butter, konfitüre, müsli, löslichem kaffee und saft. Die zimmer waren nicht besonders gross, aber sauber, die einrichtung war schon älter, bis auf den led fernseher mit bbc programm. In jedem zimmer gab es einen wasserkocher dazu tee und kaffee, was ich als angenehm empfand. Da man sich im hotel in der regel nur zur übernachtung und zum duschen aufhält war es vollkommen ausreichend und kann durchaus empfohlen werden.

Das Hotel und Zimmer waren nicht sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Matratze total war durchgelegen. Zumindest war es recht ruhig!

This hotel is perfect for a quick stop over when visiting London especially when going to the Earls Court or the Albert Hall, it was a stones throw from the tube station set in a quiet square in a lovely area. We read on reviews that the rooms were very tiny but we found them to be much bigger than expected, plus we booked a double room and ended up with a double bed and 2 single beds in one room!! We will definitely use the Garden View again without hesitation. Great price, great location!

Rooms were clean and staff were friendly, very convenient location just a few minutes walk to the Piccadilly Line.

After reading the reviews I wan't looking forward to staying here but it was ok. We were in room 18 and it was a small double room but if you just want somewhere to sleep then it's ok. The bathroom needed a really good clean.

Location is good, near the Earls Court tube station. Staffs were very friendly. Although the room was a bit small, it was tidy. There was good internet access in room.

We had a quad room. The room wasn't really big enough for one double and two single beds. There was no room between beds. Otherwise, except for the TV remote being broken, the hotel was just fine. Excellent location, close to the underground. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Our room was tiny with an even tinier bathroom. We had a veiw of the alley. The remote was even tied to the wall. I would not recommend this hotel. Only good thing it had a lift but it was also tiny.

-Free internet and breakfast. -On Piccadilly and District line at Earls Court stop. -Rude maid service. -Neutral front desk staff. -Bathroom spacious in room 23, but shower poorly designed and water everywhere. -Nice neighborhood.

The hotel is located very close to the Piccadilly line at the Earl's Court stop. Smack in the middle of a neighborhood. The hotel looks as if it was recently renovated. Maid service was rude; knocked on door and was told no service needed, but maid said in a rude tone "Give me towels." Front desk is helpful. Room 23's bathroom is spacious for European standards, but when you take a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. The maid made the bed by using the cover to hide the fact that she didn't make the bed. You pay for what you get.

I stay there for 8 days and I love it except the bed. If you don't want to waste money on hotel but want a good location...choose this hotel. before I went I read a lot of review about the bug and other stuff but I didn't had it when I visit... I will go live there again if I have chance to visit London.

THE HOTEL WA VERY NICE BUT VERY HOT ROOM

This hotel was extremely good value, very comfortable. It was close to Earl's Court tube stop. The staff were very friendly. Overall an excleenet stay.

Found this hotel ideal for a weekend break,not as bad as what its been made out to be,get what you pay for.

Everything was fine, except that my bedroom had bedbugs! I have encountered this problem in other Earls Court Hotels. I wonder if there is a serious indestation problem in the area. I know this is a difficult problem to solve, and in all other respects the hotel was good value for money

The hotel is conviniently located very close to Earls Court station. Single traveller who want to book a single room however should be very slim because the space between the bathroom door and the wall is no more than 27 centimetres (10-11 inches). In order to get into the shower tub one has to squeeze through that space. I have never seen such a small hotel room and bath in my life. Its probably a novelty and as such worth seeing :-)

This is the smallest room I have EVER stayed in. I found another hotel in london that is triple the size with a FULL kitchen for the SAME price!.

The Garden View hotel is good place to stay if you are in a business trip to London, It does not offer a lot of intertainment, but it has all basics for stay.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised at the positive and helpful attitude of the receptionist. The room was very clean, the bed linen and towels were nice and clean. The room was well presented. The shower room was clean and tidy - even the shower curtain went all the way round the shower!! Didn't do breakfast so unable to comment on this. Overall a pleasing and pleasant stay. Wil use this hotel again.

The rooms have been recently renovated, however, the mattresses and toilets were not. There were bed bugs on the mattresses and the toilet choked a couple of time. Other than that, it is quite ok.

The hotel is located really close to Earl's Court Underground. We did get a kind of decent breakfast and were able to borrow adaptors. The receptionist working in the evening was however not willing to look up a bustime on the Internet for us, and the doors to the rooms made a lot of noise in the morning when we were sleeping.

I found this hotel last minute for a one-night stay in London. The location isn't bad; only a couple blocks from the Earl's Court Underground station and the view of the Garden was nice. However, the hotel staff seemed bothered by guests, the stairs were littered with painting equipment and day old room service left outside a guest's door. The room was very cramped and the miniscule wall-mounted tv was covered in white residue and did not work. I have read reports of pests in this hotel, so I searched my comforter and area surrounding the bed to find half a dozen bed bugs. Needless to say, getting to sleep was not that easy. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay outside of Heathrow, with crabby staff and you are willing to risk sleeping with bed bugs, I would recommend this hotel to you. Everyone else should stay away.

This hotel is a bit shabby to be honest... outside and inside looks a bit of a mess and there's no parking! But on the ohter hand - if you're going out for the night and just want a cheap one nights stay - it's very clean although basic for one night and close to Earls Court Stadium and Station although the room was very small!!

I am not sure whether it was by chance that we might have been given the worst room or whether the renovations caused havoc to it. The room was relatively clean, all the bed-linen smelled of soap. The rooms did not smell damp. However, the bathtub covering was cracked and broken revealing the tub underneath. The light bulb blew up (glass fell off) on a rainy day) and water seeped through a crack and I was woken by dripping water to the left of my head. Admittedly I did check out the other section of the hotel that same day. It is much better quality. Small breakfast room. Breakfast was ok, nothing flash. Cereals and toast. Real milk was given. I will not write off the hotel even though I gave it a PRESENT overall rating of 2. I think they are renovating so just maybe the section I stayed in really was suffering and would be improved with time. I reserve my recommendations to a friend until I have checked for improvements. The hotel staff was absolutely lovely, extremely informative and and good staff makes up for a lot of bad hotel flaws.

Location well suited for needs. Had initial doubts on check-in due to decor of reception area & storage facilities for luggage.Lift not working on arrival;repaired during stay.Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness & facilities in room.Breakfast adequate for needs.Overall value for money for budget accommodation.

You would be better off spending a few more pounds to get into a hotel with better facilities.

This hotel is just a short walk (3 minutes) from the tube station, which is nice. However it is not a high quality hotel. The beds are a lot like sleeping on cots, and the bath was a 3/4 bathroom with a shower that didn't drain properly. The other residents at the hotel were primarly not English speaking, and most were backpackers aged 16-30. However, if you are looking just for a place to sleep at night, and you expect little else from your hotel then this place was great. It served that purpose very well. I would rate it well above average and well worth the upgrade from a hostel for groups that don't want to spend a lot of time in the room. For people who tend to be more concerned about your accomadations, look elsewhere.

Even by English standards (which are much lower than American standards when it comes to hotels), this place is pretty bad. The first room I was in was best described as a small dungeon located in the basement, with barely room to maneuver between the bed and closet. The next morning, I insisted on being moved. The indifferent clerk didn't offer an apology, merely shrugged her shoulders and thrust a few keys at me for me to preview rooms. The three I saw were only marginal improvements. The room I finally settled on at least had some square footage, two large windows, and a view of the garden across the street, but it stank and was quite filthy. Worse yet, there were disgusting blood stains on the carpet and on one of the mattresses. The bedsheets were made up every day but never changed and they were worn and thin, and the bathroom was the size of a walk-in closet. The room had a tiny TV, but no remote, and there was no hairdryer either. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told that to have either amenity, I'd have to leave a ten-pound (twenty dollar) deposit. Breakfast is spartan and the same every day: orange juice, tea/coffee, corn flakes and toast. Do yourself a favor and give this place a pass.

Cet hotel n'est pas du tout à recommander! Les 3 nuits que nous y avons passées n'ont pas été agréables du tout. Concernant la chambre: la propreté laisse à désirer (des cheveux dans les draps et sur les serviettes de toilette, un sol pas nickel et beaucoup de poussières); les fenêtres sont très vielles et laisse passer l'air (je me demande ce que ca aurait été en hiver!); le bruit est toujours présent: bien que l'hotel soit dans une zone résidentielle il y a pas mal de travaux et de passages, et surtout les murs de la chambre était tellement fins que nous pouvions entendre les conversations de nos voisins! Le personnel est très peu souriant voire parfois désagréable! Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il est très simple: du pain de mie avec confiture, du café soluble, du thé anglais, du lait et du jus d'orange, tous ces produits étant de qualité médiocre! Le seul point intéressant de cet hotel: il est près du métro et c'est très simple pour y aller ou rejoindre le centre de Londres. De plus il est toujours en zone 1 ce qui premet de faire une économie sur les tickets de transport.

Meget lidt plads på værelset (så lidt at et bord skulle flyttes for at åbne skabet). Endnu værre var det ved rummet med morgenmad, hvor der er så trangt, at man ikke kan komme hverken frem eller tilbage... Jeg finder et andet hotel næste gang!

Dette hotellet var helt greit. Det beste med hotellet var at det ligger rett ved earls court der jeg var på messe i to dager. Sengene har ikke dyner, bare tepper og dusj\toalett er bittelite. Tven er monert så høyt på veggen at det er vanskelig å se ordentlig. Ellers var rommene rene og fine. Bortsett fra at jeg måtte slutte å dusje den første dagen pga vannlekkasje som rant ned i rommet under var det ingen problemer.

Pænt hotel i rolige omgivelser. Rengøringsstandarden på hotellet var helt i top - rent værelse med indbydende sengelinned. Badeværelset meget lille, men rent og velholdt med daglig udskiftning af håndklæder. Breakfast var - prisen taget i betragtning - mere end hvad vi havde forventet.

Et hotel der lever op til forventningerne set i forhold til prisen god beliggenhed og nær til metro.

L'hôtel est juste à côté du métro Earl's court et pratique pour aller à Soho ou à Covent Garden. La chambre était minuscule, la chasse d'eau des WC ne marchait pas et le lit trop petit pour deux. Même pour ce prix, on peut trouver mieux.

Flott beligghet i rolig strøk. Be gjerne om rom med utsikt til parken. Vi hadde rom med retning hovedgaten, og det ble litt mye trafikklyd. Kort vei til undergrunn, buss og pub. Frokost er av typen selvbetjening med corflakes og toast. Rommet var rent og enkelt. Senga var grei å sove i (i motsetning til mange andre billighoteller). Kommer gjerne tilbake hit :-)
