Zecchini Hotel - Venedig

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein,Bad ist super sauber,die Bedienung im Frühstücksraum sehr unfreundlich aber alle anderen nett.Ist weiterzuempfehlen die Lage ist auch sehr zentral,direkt Bootanlegestelle und gleich am Bahnhof oder Busbahnhof.

Kein Luxushotel, aber gut geführt. Freundliches Personal.

The hotel rooms are TINY but acceptable. About the size of a large walk-in closet. The hotel is located close to the train station. We walked there in about 3 minutes which was great because you don't want to lug your luggage around in the hot and humid July weather in Venice. There is not an elevator. The room was air conditioned.

Great location close to the station. Small room but was clean and big enough for a short stay. Good price for Venice.

Unfortunately, I expected alot more for my money. Venice is extremely expensive so the afforable hotel is not good at all. When we arrived there was a large group of kids staying here so it was very noisy and I felt very strange sharing a bathroom is so many strangers. So they offered us a room with a private bathroom in their other hotel right next door for 15euros more a night in cash. Only because of the bathroom and because I figured the rooms in this place were so bad it couldn't get much worse we took it. We were right it wasn't worse it was pretty much the same. The room smelled like mildew and the sheets and blankets looked like they really don't get washed. The only reason our stay wasn't that bad is because we were barely in the room. The pizzeria right next door is pretty good and is open late. The gelato they had there was the best I had during my whole stay in Italy. If you're on a budget and don't plan to be in your hotel room alot, only to sleep and shower, than it's ok to stay here but bring your own sheets and towels, like I did, thank god.

During our second night stay at the hotel, the air conditioner for the room broke down. As the weather is very hot at that time, we asked the lady staff at the reception to ask someone to rectify this problem. She told us to provide her the reservation booking . When we show her our room reservation booking , she replied very rudelly that the air conditioning is not included but is a PRESENT from the hotel . Therefore she did not have to fix this problem . => very poor service and rude staff

The location of this hotel was perfect as we got into Venice. We expected to do a lot of walking and this hotel helped us because it was extremely close to the rail station. The continental breakfast was good, the rooms for us provided shelter and sleeping accomodations. We did not want to spend a lot of money on a room when we were out touring the city and just beginning our vacation. The hotel staff was excellent, beds were comfortable and the location was ideal

I booked a room with outside bathroom for a great price. The hotel was in a great location for train, watertaxis and bus station. staff was helpful and friendly.

Nice people, nice vibe, comfortable room; I'd go back today if I could. Very easy walk from the station. We had a shared bathroom and that was fine: we never had to wait to use it and it was always clean. Skip the breakfast (only bad coffee we had in Italy) and go to Brek Ristorante up the road.

We specified a double bed...got two singles pushed together so spent each of our romantice holiday nights 10 inches apart. The decor was appaling and the room rediculously small we could only just walk around the edge of the bed and squeen past the massive sink in the tiny shower room with peeling paint. we paid extra and specified a "full" breakfats opposed to a continental...we had the same choice of yoghurt or rice as everyone else did Looked lovely from the outside and a really fabulous location but a massive let down considering the money we spent

Don't visit this hotel in summer. No AC very small room stair only to rooms

In the heart of Venice, close to the vaporetto and the train station, the room was clean but the furniture very dated and ratty, the bathroom was clean and the fixtures new, a little hot with no air conditioning, and the front room was noisy with the windows open at night, even late from the people walking the busy street. The staff is cordial and accomodating, the included breakfast varied and tasty. On the minus side there is no internet connection. Overall a good sleep for the price.

The staff was excellent...very friendly and helpful. The hotel, room, and hall bathroom were very clean. I don't think that the pictures on the website represent this hotel; I was much nicer in person...there's all kinds of Venetian glass, marble floors, and a great view of a Venice Street. No need to worry about noise; there's only walking aloud near this hotel. Little shops are located around the hotel so the only movement was in the morning once they opened. This hotel was a little hard to get to at midnight (due to the lack of people around the streets to ask), but once we got to there we were very happy! We actually stayed in 1 of 3 rooms that had to share a bathroom, but there are 2 bathrooms in the halls of the hotel. Sharing a bathroom was the part that worried me about booking this hotel but once we arrived all my worries were put to rest! I think we were the only people showering in it so it ended up being "our" bathroom anyways! The room was small but for the price I wasn't expecting much, but this hotel was worth more than what we paid. I highly recommend it!

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel and they were not exceeded. But the Zecchini served our purposes. The pluses included location near the train station, friendly, helpful front desk staff, free breakfast and very reasonable price for a Venice hotel. Minuses were the small size of the room, location on a busy pedestrian side street (noise late into the night and early in the morning) and the dysfunctional vending machine that was unable to deliver a much needed cold Heineken when I needed it the most. No AC in our room so think twice about a summer booking.

Very central location,near Ferrovia waterbus stop and station but because of this,noisy at night.Needed windows open as no airconditioning end of May.Good selection of restaurants close by.Breakfast fine can ask for eggs.Will let you leave cases once checked out.Friendly staff.

This Hotel wasn't too bad, the location was great. But my room (double bed) wasn't what I expect... there were no private toilet, and the shower was in the next floor up. Was quite hot in the room as well, there was no ac. Breakfast was great, very good indeed. Wouldn't mind to stay again at this Hotel, but would rather try a few different ones first.

This hotel was everything and more than we expected. It was a two minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station, and one street away from the Grand Canal. It sits in a small business section of restaurants and small shops. The staff spoke very good English which was a plus for us as we speak very limited Italian. Staff was constantly washing/wiping up the marble floor and stairs. It was extremely clean. Room size was consistent for Europe. We had a shared bathroom which was very clean and updated, with great water pressure. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was very good and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It is right near the train station, great location. You can walk outside your hotel and be right on the streets of venice near a lot of things. We had a room wear we shared a bathroom and it wasn't bad. the bathrooms were clean. it was right across the hall so we didn't have to walk far at all. The hotel overall wasn't bad for the money. however I went in March , so I am no sure if there is air conditioning in the hotel. Make sure you check into that. Because our room didn't have it but we didn't need it because it was cold.

This hotel was good and the staff nice. close to the station and on a good shopping street, the breakfast room is very small, so if you want to have breakfast by 9 you will have to stand in line to get it, otherwise ok rooms and very helpful staff

Zecchini Hotel i Venezia har en super beliggenhet, og med hyggelige folk. Rommene er små, og frokosten er enda mindre. - Var også plaget av mygg, så husk myggmiddel.

Rent og ok. Super sød og kompetent betjening i receptionen. Meget lille værelse og ikke nogen komfort, men fint nok til overnatning. Der er en del støj fra gade/baggård. Hotellet ligger super centralt. Meget tæt på bus-/togstation samt lige ud til handelsgade m.m. Kort afstand til færgebusser og i gåafstand til det meste. Morgenmadsrestaurant er meget lille og der er ikke plads til alle. Stod i kø, men ikke så længe. Meget sød betjening til morgenmaden, men ikke det store udvalg. Vil anbefale hotellet til enkelte overnatninger, hvor der ikke kræves meget andet end en seng. Vi kommer garanteret igen.

Fint hotel. God beliggenhed tæt på hovedbanegården. Rengøring hver dag.

petit problème de cabine de douche,qui sortait de son rail et qui fermait mal,plusieurs fois signalé jamais réparé ,sinon bon hotel,bon accueil,hotel propre, parlant bien le français ,a recommander.
