Sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtetes Hotel, sehr netter Service und tolle Lage! 2 Gehminuten und man ist am Walk of Fame! Durch das Hotel gibt es eine Brücke die fast bis zum Mans Chinese Theatre führt!

Leider ist die Lage im Herzen von Hollywood nicht mehr das, was es einmal gewesen ist. Insofern steht das Preis/Leistungsverhaeltnis nicht (mehr) in Relation. Zudem muss beispielsweise der Zugang zum Internet extra bezahlt werden. Es gibt weniger exklusive Hotels (wenn man den Preis als Massstab nimmt), in welchen zumindest diese Leistung ohne Aufpreis erbracht wird.

Das Hotel liegt direkt im Herzen von Hollywood (im selben Gebäudekomplex wie Man´s Chinese Theatre und das Kodak Theatre; nett eingerichtete geräumige Zimmer und einen Swimming Pool am Dach - was will man mehr ...

The hotel was modern and the service was excellent. The pool was also a plus, the poolside food was delicious and a good value. The only negatives were my toilet not working properly and a noisy party at 2am upstairs from me.

We had a fantastic stay here and will visit again !

Everything was clean, in working order, and very comfortable. It was a perfect location for anything you want to see in Hollywood. Friendly staff from valet to bar to front desk. Everything you would expect from a top-of-the-line hotel.

The hotel is well located next to the Hollywood and Highland mall. Modern, clean rooms and quiet, dignified staff.

The location is ideal if you don't want to get out and drive. A lot to do, eat and shop within walking distance. This was perfect for us as we were only staying in Hollywood one night and didn't want to waste a lot of time driving around and figuring out where to go and where to park. The hotel staff was excellent. The rooms were clean and we had a good view. Would stay here again.

I cut myself by accident while shaving, we called the front desk and someone ran band-aids and disinfectant to our room immediately. Really great service. The location is wonderful. After an evening at the bars we got hungry and we were only steps from the burger joint in the mall, which was great. The only thing was that we were charged a buck for our call to place our to-go order, but it was worth it :) The only criticism was that other than the bathroom mirror, there were no mirrors with good light for doing make-up, hair, etc. So, if you have more than 2 girls trying to get ready for a night out it can be a little annoying, but really not bad, and for how nice the hotel is and how comfy and clean the room is, it's a small price to pay. Overall, great stay!!! We were impressed. Pool deck is really cool.

This hotel is in a terrific location. It's next to Hollywood Blvd, shopping, multiple restaurants. We really liked our room. It was very clean, modern and well maintained. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

I got a room w/ city view. I expected something more regarding overall quality.

Great hotel & location for some attractions & the mall; hotel restaurant a little pricey but good food (open only for breakfast the time of year we visited-December). The spa was a bit pricey as well. Would definitely go back.

Our stay at the Renaissance was everything we expected for a higher-end hotel except for the restaurant being closed due to the holiday season. In fact, the entire hotel seemed like a ghost town. However, the staff was great, the room comfortable, and the proximity to Hollywood & Highland makes this an excellent hotel for out-of-town guests.

Nice comfortable room. Basic room was great for family of 4, not too small, not too big. Near tons of activities.

My wife and I wanted to take a short little one-night stay out of town and thought it would be fun to stay at a nice hotel, like the Renaissance. I read the reviews and everything, thought it sounded nice, but when we got there, it was pretty depressing. The bathroom toilet had a "hair" on it when we arrived, not to mention the cracks in the shower. And when we didn't want the vent blowing on us, we had to turn every little blind separately. The T.V. didn't get the E! channel, a favorite of mine on Friday night for The Soup, but also various other channels that were supposed to come in clearly, but didn't (and no, they weren't PPV channels). The bed pillows were too hard and the only soft one was the size of a throw pillow. We also did not have a small refridgerator or a microwave (both items need to be "special ordered" ahead of time). On top of it all, we made coffee in the morning with no sugar, creamer or stir sticks...nothing. The pool had no jacuzzi, again a staple even in budget hoetls. We ate in the restaurant and although the food was pretty good, the menu was limited and, obviously, overpriced. All in all, I booked a one night stay for my wife and I to relax. We live south of LA, but thought it would be fun just to drive somewhere. I cannot have a good stay at a hotel with my wife if she is not satisfied. Happy wife = happy life. And at a (discounted!!!) rate for what we paid, we could've been more comfortable staying at a cheaper hotel for 2 nights. There are lots of places to stay in Hollywood, just don't stay at the Renaissance.

Excellent locaion for visiting inner Hollywood. Almost all sites to be seen are within walking distance.

The location of the hotel was great and the hotel itself was nice and clean. When I got to my room there were little things missing (bath robe, toiletries, water glasses, fridge items). The staff was just ok. I went down to the front to ask a couple of questions and right as I started talking to the concierge, he told me to wait and then he answered the phone. That's a big no-no! I was turned off by that. I had problems with my key and the staff was rude when I went to get another. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay. The price was way too high for the service that I got. I know many people can overlook a rude staff so I would still recommend this hotel but as for myself, I don't think I would stay there again.

Guests in the next room were so noisy from around 1 AM. we couldn't sleep. Conversation, TV sound, etc went through the wall between the rooms. We paid a lot and got tired.

Great location for Hollywood, 1 minute from the boulevard and its famous attraction(s). Views of the famous "hollywood" sign from front of hotel. We used it as a 'pre LAX departure stop' for one night only. The Renaissance is very modern and spotlessly clean. Service generally very good. The out-door swimming pool on the 5th floor is large (as far as upper floor pools go) and great for kids and adults alike. We didn't use the hotel's restaurant which offers a 'Californian menu' but chose to eat in the adjoining shopping marl which is riddled with shops and restaurants. Under the marl are 3 or 4 underground levels of car park (entrance immediately left of hotel entrance) which only cost us 7 bucks for an overnight stay. It would be easy to drop off folks prior to entering car park, otherwise, easy to park first then take lift to 3rd floor of marl which soon leads you into hotel (thence go down more lifts to the lobby!) LAX airport 45 mins drive away in mid-am traffic (stops at times - so allow 1 hour!). Great hotel. Enjoy

The Renaissance Hotel & Spa was excellent. The room was clean and the service was great. The hotel staff was so nice and friendly. I would recommend to anyone and I would stay again on my next trip to LA.

OUR ROOM FACED THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN, WHICH WAS FABULOUS. I HAD MY BACHLORETTE WEEKEND THERE WHICH WAS A PERFECT LOCATION. THE ROOM WAS A GREAT SIZE AND THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the staff and their efficiency. This hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to MANY local attractions! A beautiful hotel!

PERFECT HOLLYWOOD LOCATION, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING- IN THE MALL WITH RESTAURANTS AND CLOTHING STORES. WHAT MORE COULD YOU NEED IN LA? A THEATRE...ITS OK THE SAME STREET AS KODAK THEATRE AND PANTAGES IS JUST DOWN SUNSET 8 BLOCKS AKA 15 MINUTE WALK. THEY EVEN PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO PANTAGES FOR THOSE SEEING WICKED. MY MOM AND DAD AND I STAYED HERE AND THE SERVICE AND COMFORT ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY. NOT TO MENTION THE BUSINESS CENTER PREFECT FOR THOSE WHO FORGET TO PRINT THE TICKETMASTER TICKETS. JUST ATTACH TO YOUR LAP TOP AND PRINT FROM THE COMFOR OF YOUR HOTEL. ROOM SERVICE WITH DELICIOUS MENUS 24/7 FOR THOSE LATE NIGHT CHICKEN WING CRAVINGS AND A GORGEOUS DRESS FOR MY COUSIN'S WEDDING IN SEPTEMBER.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and loved it. The location was perfect for shopping and dining. We would definately recommend it to anyone.

The hotel, the staff was outstanding. I cannot wait to go back. The biggest dissapointment was the restaurant TWIST. The food was terrible and tasteless.

I was disappointed on the second day of my stay because I was out of the room at 8 a.m. and returned at 4 p.m. and my room had not been cleaned. I sat in the lobby until 5:30 p.m. before it had been cleaned. ahhh! The second night I was awakened at 3 a.m. by a group of guys who had been partying and brought it back to their room. Which was directly above my room. I called the front desk to complain and the noise went on for 1 1/2 hours - by this time it was time for me to get up. Very, very disappointing. I will not be staying there again.

If you're staying in Hollywood and have a bit extra to spend, stay here. The service and cleanliness are excellent. Nice bar in the lobby. Adjacent to Kodak Theatre, along the Walk of Fame by Graumman's Chinese, across street from El Capitan Theater and in walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl. Fabulous hotel.

The Renaissance is a class act. If you want to stay at a 5 star hotel in Hollywood/LA, look no further. The hotel is new, clean and close to everything in Hollywood. The staff was very helpfull.
