SpringHill Suites-Hawthorne/LAX by Marriott - Hawthorne

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen, nur einige Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, kostenloses Internet, kostenloser Parkplatz und Continental Breakfast. Wie waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Zimmer nett eingerichtet alles sehr ordentlich Bufett reichlich und gut aber Stosszeiten vermeiden

Obwohl das Hotel in Flughafennähe für viele Gäste wohl in erster Linie den Zweck einer Übernachtungs-möglichkeit dienen soll, sind die Hotelzimmer erstaunlich geräumig und für den Zweck eines längeren Aufenthaltes mit eigener Infrastruktur eingerichtet.

Die Zimmer sind schon kleine Wohnung und waren äußerst geräumig und sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Das Personal höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück sehr ansprechend, erweitertes Kontinental Frühstück mit warmem Ei und Wurst. Der Pool ziemlich klein.

Hervorragendes Hotel, geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung.

Hotel was extremely clean, has a cute couch and frig area--not a lot of open space though Lobby has a nice set up for breakfast (included) I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Great value

I would recommend this hotel to my family & friends. Easy to get to LAX airport, quiet area, very clean, staff very friendly, beds very comfortable, outstanding breakfast offered with various food items, hot & cold. First time we stayed at this motel & booked ahead so lower price for a wonderful stay. Next time we travel to the LA area, we will stay at this hotel. Very close to retail stores, food, etc. We had the suite with the extended area for sitting, computer desk. Also free internet security service. Very relaxing stay.

very nice people, swimming pool very nice! good to stay there its better to have a car!

Wonderfully close to rental car return. Was able to do that in less than 5 minutes from starting the car and stopping the car. Hotel is nice. Breakfast is more of continental breakfast with microwaved food. Well worth the money.

great location for LAX customers...the staff was AMAZING, went beyond MOST hotels in helping out. Great time spent...a REAL breakfast too was just icing on the cake.

I would say that this hotel was reasonable for its price if it wasn't for the service we got when we arrived to the hotel. The hotel knew that the room is going to sleep 5 which meant the folding bed would be used, but the folding bed didn't have two sheets and there was no additional sheet in the closet so you couldn't sleep with the rough blanket directly of course. When calling housekeeping the lady there insisted that there was another sheet in the closet. She made us look for it and only after we swore we don't see one she agreed to send one over... Breakfast was overcrowded and the food was not filled up fast enough and was running low some of the time.

The hotel was 8 yrs old...I was under the impression it was newer based on other guest's comments I read. The carpet was old, the room layout odd, & mildew on the shower curtain liner..one night the elevator wasn't working & my little boy & I had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to our room! The pluses to this hotel were the kind front desk staff, didn't have to pay extra to park, free internet, & the bed was comfortable..Overall though, not what I expected from "Marriott" Definitely needs a make-over!

We stayed at Springhill Suites in Hawthorne Friday and Saturday night, June 12-14 2009. It's a good value for your money, but our particular stay wasn't perfect. The room and hotel was clean and in good condition, and we knew going there that it wasn't as close to where we wanted to be but the price was right. What detracted from making it a very good or even perfect stay were two things. One was that the breakfast on a weekend for some reason closed at 9am, which meant everybody tried to sleep as long as possible and then get breakfast. This resulted in long lines through the lobby and them running out of food and coffee. We didn't get the breakfast that was included in our price one of the days because of this. The other negative thing was that there was a lot of noise and running in the hallway on our floor both nights.

The room had the amenities that I was looking for. Which was internet and a small fridge to store some basic supplies. My only problem was the breakfest that the hotel provided had very few choices and area was too small for all the guests. I had to eat in my room.

The hotel was very clean and rather new. Plenty of space in the room, even with three teenage boys. There were two TV's but they were only about six feet apart with no barrier so watching two different shows was not practical. Pool was great, and there was a quick response to bring extra towels to our room. Free breakfast was good, but the layout was incredibly inconvenient. Friday and Saturday there was plenty of food but Sunday they ran out of just about everything. It was a holiday and they are new - maybe they were still trying to figure out how to anticipate the need. Overall our stay was very pleasant and comfortable.

Service is great, I love the breakfast choice here. The bed is really comfy, definitely will stay here again

This was the first time I've stayed at a Springhill Suites. I enjoyed the extra living area (sofa,lounge chair) and a desk for business. It was convenient to have a refrigerator, microwave and sink in the room. The room was comfortable and quiet. The front desk personnel were professional and pleasant. The breakfast was great and provided a nice variety for all tastes. The location was close to the 405 freeway and a lot of restaurants.

The room was excellent: clean, spacious,& comfortable. Kind of a suite with a small kitchenette (mini-fridge, Microwave, sink and desk/table), small living room (seperate tv, coffee table, love seat and comfort chair). The bed area also has a tv. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate (pastries, fruit, breads, oatmeal, omelets, waffles, juice, milk, coffee, and yogart. I received more room, comfort and services at Springhill Suites - Hawthorne then I have at 80% of higher priced hotels that I haxe stayed at. My only criticism, and a minor one at that, is that the neighborhhod, though safe, is more of a light industrial/residential neighborhood. I would definetely stay there again.

We were visiting LA and flying out on LAX. LA is one City you have to drive to see everything so this location was ideal if you are flying out of LAX, as it is on the same road as LAX especially the car rentals. It was a good hotel in good location close to the interstate. You can also travel up the coast and avoid the interstate mess. Of course you have to travel by car to visit LA anyways. There is no view from the hotel. The surrounding area is safe.

Very conveneient for LAX and Manhattan beach and shops (by car ). Slept 2 adults and 3 kids although could have done with a little more space but our 3 nights very comfortable. Complimnetary breakfast a good start to the day and outdoor heated swimming pool was a hit with the kids. There's a small shop for snacks and drinks and tea and cofffee available all day in reception. Overall a comfortable stay and would likely use again

Although the location is very inconvenient to downtown LA if you do not have a car, the surrounding neighborhood had a plethora of restaurants, Houston's, McCormick's, P.F. Chang's, etc. For the price we paid (<100/night), we were given a King Suite-a GREAT VALUE. The room was very clean and orderly. The staff was very friendly. There is a complimentary continental breakfast offered, but my guest and I did not wake at the right time for it (6am - 9am). Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel and I would definitely stay here again or highly recommend it to others.

A rather new hotel, nice spacious and clean rooms. Not much to eat nearby, but Manhattan Beach is only a few miles away. A good place to stay near the airport.

Hotel staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel location was a little off the beaten path but located near enough some ameenities. Overall a good hotel.

Nice, comfortable hotel in good area. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Short drive to beach communities and restaurants. Pleasant front desk staff.

It is located in a very convinience location. The breakfast was good. You get free internet for 24 hrs which wa very good. I stayed ay many motels but the internet and breakfast are the one's which really surprised me. The frondesk was very good. Overall a very good to place to stay if you are on vacation in LA.

I like this hotel for its price (breakfast, internet & parking are included in the price).

Nice size room, big enough for our family of 5. Very few tables for breakfast and only one courtesy computer-printer for all the gests. Not good. Hotel is somehow far from Disney (40 - 45 minutes).

The room was too small for the 5 of us. I had booked a room with 2 double beds, but was given a king room with a sleeper sofa because that is all they had left. Room was clean and quiet at night. Easy access to the 405 freeway and close proximity to several eating places and shopping.

The room was very clean and larger than expected for the price, All of our requests were handled promptly and with kindness.

i was extremely happy with our room!! all the staff members were great and the price was excellent!!

Very, very clean! Great Staff! Breakfast was ok, but hot! location is in a great neighborhood, considering how close it is to LAX.. The suite was very clean and modern... everything worked! Bed comfort was awesome!

We completely enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to all the sight-seeing we had planned. We found that restaurants were plentiful, including everything from a fine dinner house to fast food. But the best by far was the bed, which was incredibly comfortable and made our stay something really special. We hated to have to leave.

Nice hotel for the money. Only negatives were cab fare to/from LAX ~$21 each way (not the $15 posted on website) and the lack of good restaurants very nearby. Otherwise, give this hotel an "A."

4 of us liked this hotel based on the good price. The service is great. One of our rooms had strange smell when we just got in, and when we requested to move to another room, they gave us another immediately. The rooms, bed sets and utilities are clean, though some of the towels in the bathroom are kind of old and should be replaced (this is not a complaint but a suggestion for quality improvement).

This hotel was clean and in a nice area. While this hotel was near the airport it was far away from the airport noise and traffic. This hotel was also near restaurants.
