Unscheinbarer Zweckbau unmittelbar am Bahnhof. Foyer sachlich einladend, Rezeptionspersonal äußerst freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Gänge breit, sauber und hell beleuchtet. Zimmer funktional eingerichtet, sogar Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett vorhanden. Badezimmer sehr sauber, zweckmäßig und ansprechend. Doppelbett mit etwas sehr weicher Matratze. Zimmerlage zum Hof ruhig, zur Straße zumindest an Wochenden sehr laut, Jazzclub direkt gegenüber mit zahlreichen Angetrunkenen zur Nachtzeit. Frühstücksbereich in Spitzenzeiten etwas zu knappe Sitzmöglichkeiten, Büffet selbst sehr reichhaltig, vielfältig und frisch. Sehr gute Lage zur Innenstadt mit guten Anbindung öffentlicher Nahverkehr. Hotel würde insbesondere außen einen ansprechenderen Anstrich vertragen, Mobiliar zum Teil auch schon etwas älter.

Stayed here 3 nights after I fell ill the day before, so was praying for a decent hotel to recover in. Boy did I get it! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The room was spotlessly clean, a decent size, very modern and well presented and organised. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the station, and 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre, very convenient! There is also an ICA supermarket 5 minutes away. The restaurant menu is rather expensive, I ended up getting the traditional beef dish. The portion sizes are pretty small, but oh my gosh - it was one of the yummiest meals I've had in my life. I also went down to get food at midnight. The member of staff on duty was incredibly sweet, and made me 2 sandwiches which she didn't charge me for, and gave me money off the drink I ordered too. She pointed out that you can ring down and get a main meal made for you whilst the restaurant is open and it can be reheated later in the evening if you're the type who eats late at night. This hotel is close to being perfect in my eyes, there was only 1 negative I had in my stay - which was the breakfast. There arn't nearly enough breakfast tables to accommodate a hotel of that size, and they were all full. I went down at 9.45 before it ended at 10, and although I was allowed to take a tray back up to my room, all the hot food had gone (despite plenty of demand for it still), which was a real shame. Overall though top class hotel at a excellent price.

Exemplary staff, very knowledgeable and helpful to this foreign traveler. Room was spacious with many amenities. The only complaint I had was that this room needed better fitting room darkening shades. In a country where it’s twilight at midnight and the sun is way up at 3AM,this exhausted traveler from the US would have preferred the room to be darker. But otherwise this hotel had it all. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Good hotel to stay in if you have an early flight the following morning. The rooms are new and clean. The bathrooms are a decent size for Europe. The bed was uncomfortably hard. The restaurant was a little pricy, but the food and service were very good. The front desk staff were efficient during check in and check out. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the airport terminals. And there is free internet.

We were very impressed with the quality of the service and the condition of the Hotel. The hotel staff, not only the receptionist but the cooks as well, were very friendly and helpful . We can only highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was clean and quiet and well worth the money. Uppsala itself is not terribly interesting, but the location of the hotel is superb (max. 5 min walk to the central square) and especially nice if you are taking the train (it's just across the train tracks). Make sure you get up in time for the breakfast--it's delicious!

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well designed. They are not luxurious, but will satisfy all but the most finicky. I was there in June. To keep the room comfortable, I needed to keep the windows open, as there is no a/c (or I could not find the controls). No big deal for me, and this probably is not a major issue most of the time in Sweden. The complimentary breakfast buffet offers a swedish assortment of breads, cheeses, meats, pancakes, scrambled and boiled eggs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the train station, which is very handy to the traveler new to Uppsala. The center of Uppsala is a 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Mkt centralt från Uppsala station, kanske 2 min promenad. Ändå tyst omgivning. Rel litet men mysigt hotell. Rummet helt OK. Hittade dock aldrig någon TV-tablå, volymen på TV:n gick ej heller att sänka helt. Luktade en aning unket i badrummet, men inte så det störde desto mer.

Det hade varit bra om frukosten hade vart längre än till 10.00 på helgen. Det "saknades" en duschvägg i badrummet, hela badrummet blev blött när man duschade. Men i överlag var det ett kanon hotel som jag gärna återvänder till.

Jag och min fru var jättenöjda med vistelsen på hotellet. Vi kommer sannolikt att gästa där fler gånger. Rekomenderas p.g.a. bra pris, läge och service.

Mycket bra läge. Mycket trevlig personal. Mycket rent. Bra frukost. Tråkigt nog såg vi två mindre kackerlackor i badrummet. Vi meddelade perosonalen så problemet är förhoppningsvis löst inom kort. (juli 2009)

Rummet var i det minsta laget. Har man med sig en 9 månaders bebis behövs det plats för resesäng, vilket det inte gjorde! Lite trångt att sova alla tre i 1,60 säng. Servicen var mycket bra. Kollade upp ingredienser i frukosten utan protester, pga allergier.

Trevligt och prydligt litet hotell.

Jag och min sambo tycker att det var ett kanonfint hotell, och vi har sett en hel del inom sveriges gränser.Centralt , nära till allt.vi återkommer när det blir dags

Et fire stjerners hotel må ha air cond.

Inte mycket att säga ettersom vi bara sov där några timmar efter att ha övervarat en väns fest.

Alles was O.K.. Als we toch een opmerking zouden moeten/willen maken, is het enige feit, dat het ontbijt vóór 09.00 uur genomen diende te zijn.

Ett bra ställe att vila ut på. Skulle ha varit perfekt om spa avdelningen hade haft en badavdelning med bassäng och jaccusi.

Helt okej och rent hotel med bra centralt läge nära tågstationen. Mycket trevlig personal. Ingen luftkonditionering. Man fick låna fläkt i receptionen. Rummet blev väldigt varmt, kändes som en utlandssemester... Frukost serveras endast fram till 09.00 på vardagar och kunde vara väldigt urplockad om man kom ner sent.
