The Fresh Hotel - Athen

very nice hotel in this part of athens. in the center of everywhere.not far from every where you want to go... nice condition, nice staff, very helpfull and kind. the top of the roof with the terrasse give a nice view on athens, and nice sunset... good coktails, expensive, but it's holidays....nice breakfast, lot of choice, but expensive as well... if i have to go back to athens, i will go back here.feel safe and confortable...

This hotel is a reasonable modern 4 star hotel, but it is close to a ' seedy part ' of Athens

The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard although the surrounding buildings have not, don't let this put you off. Its location is on a quiet street so there was little disturbance from street noise, unlike some city hotels. The veiw from the small sun terrace and roof bar was interesting - the Acropolis and some modern ugly mobile phone antennae. Conveniently situated to visit the popular tourist sites on foot. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was fine with a good selection to satisify most cultures.

pleasantly surprised. nice hotel, good service and very centrally located. Walking distance from everything. Bus in front of hotel takes you all over town to the museums, Parthenon etc..

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms weren't very large, but that is a "Europe Thing", I think. The room was well appointed, and very comfortable. The area is not great, but not as bad as we had heard. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff at the front desk, as well as the Buffet was very friendly. We would probably stay there again, if we ever return to Athens.

Great place, if you like the trendy colours and the "W-ish" environment this is the place for you. Very friendly service, an amazing breakfast included, (I was enchanted by the fresh-orange-juice-press) garage parking just EUR10 and small but tidy zen-like rooms with no paintings on the wall. I personally liked that. Bathrooms modern and nice. Its location is very central, next to the market place, near to Omonia, Syntagma, Plaka and Psiri, all between 5-10mins walk. A block west there seems to be a darker district, - but not at all dangerous though. All in all an amazing package and a great value for the money, especially if you want to stay in Athens for a couple of days to explore the city. I'll come again.

Great contemporary design. Rooms comfortable but "cosy". Staff friendly & helpful. Wonderful views from 9th floor Air Lounge. Good location for sightseeing but beware the "nightlife" outside the hotel. Also note that 2 out of our 4 airport taxi drivers did not know where the hotel is located.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The rooftop dining and bar area was beautiful. The breakfast served in the morning is amazing. You also have acccess to computers with free internet! The neighborhood around the hotel is not upscale however it does provide an authentic feel for the city life. The bonus is that you are only 2 blocks away from the metro stations.

Very hip interesting idea for a hotel. Unfortunately, it fell short in the execution. The room was pleasant and functioned well for us - we spent most of the time out of the room. It would have been cramped if we'd planned to spend more time in the room. The pool/roof deck was very nice but crowded and the smoke overwhelming. My boyfriend took a serious fall on the way down from the pool. The gym was poorly equiped and the hotel bar not open for the weekend I was there. The concierge was helpful in arranging taxis, but dinner recommendations were not great.

Nice hotel. Very new and modern design. Very attractive but it is located in a rather dismal part of Athens. Though to be honest, all of Athens looked pretty war torn and dismal. Overall the hotel was great but the location was poor even though it was within walking distance of the Acroplois which is the only thing worth seeing in Athens.

Hotell med god service, gjennomført, forseggjort stil, og fine, nyoppussede rom (lite, dårlig TV) - Mange har balkong. Svak lydisolering mot korridor. Flott takterrasse med et lite basseng, solsenger, sofaer og bar hvor man kan få servert mat og drikke hele dagen. Fra hotellet er det kort vei til metro og handlegate. Ligger akkurat på riktig side av grensen mot tvilsommere strøk. Velg hovegaten Athinás om du går hjem sent kveld/natt. Jeg (enslig mann) forsøkte selv noen snarveier hjem fra bydelen Psiri, og det var anstrengende å stadig måtte riste av seg afrikanske kvinner på nattejobb...

Άψογο το ξενοδοχείο, άθλεια η γειτονιά!

Meget sentral beliggenhet med gangavstand til det aller meste, og rett ved holdeplass for hop-on hop-off buss. På forhånd litt skeptisk pga antydninger om noe tvilsom beliggenhet. Lå riktignok vegg i vegg med lugubert hotell, men bare 50 meter fra hovedgate og vi opplevde ingen ubehageligheter. Meget fint Design-hotell, små, men meget fine rom. Særdeles bra renhold. Familie med 2 tenåringer satte stor pris på flott takterasse med pool, bar, restaurant og utsikt direkte til Akropolis.Uvanlig bra frokost, men dyr (22 Euro). 3 pc-er til fri bruk av internett, betalte heller ikke for utskrift. Blid hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Skal vi tilbake til Athen, bestiller vi nok her igjen !

Loved this hotel, was a bit worried after the warnings of the taxi driver as I arrived late at night and there were prostitutes hanging out down the street outside. But this was not an issue at all as during the day it is a lively market area, I heard many stories of purses being stolen all around me while in Athens so advice to be careful as always everywhere in the city. But the hotel was great, super comfortable, really friendly service, loved the pool terrace and lounge area – so nice to relax in the sun with a drink after running around all day, and the food in the roof-terrace was also superb, the staff very accommodating with all my requests – and while the gym was small at least they had new machines. Super central so only a 10 minute walk to most areas – would love to go back as 5 days wasn’t even really enough – too much sight seeing not enough shopping!

Attention, l'hotel est en limite d'un quartier populaire avec quelques rues avoisinantes à ne pas trop fréquenter le soir. Toutefois, ces rues se limitent à deux ou trois et ne sont pas indispensables à traverser pour aller dans les points intéressants de la ville. Sinon, design, confort, emplacement, service etc... Rien à dire sur l'hotel en lui même

2eme séjours dans cet hotel, design superbe et confort et facilités très agréables.

pas mal, propreté chambre à travailler, espace chambre minimal

Bien place, central, tout peut se faire a pied, Du musee Archeologique a La Plaka ou a l'Acropole. Chambre propre et correcte, sdb parfaite, douche only, ne chechez pas l'espace mais suffisant car on est toute la journee a l'exterieur. Tres bon et copieux Buffet petit dejeuner.
