This place was great. The rooms are small and it's not overflowing with in-room amenities but there is plenty to love. The top three things we liked most about the Hotel Cinema were 1) The great breakfast they serve each morning. Eggs, cheeses, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, meats, salmon... 2) The wonder terrace on the fourth floor overlooking a city square and fountain below with a view of the skyline. Each afternoon/evening they put out refreshments, fruits, pastries, nuts, etc. 3) The location. We love the beach and it was a quick 15 minute walk away. It's also close to a lot of groceries, coffee shops, etc. Tel Aviv is not a huge city so even if it's not in the neighborhood where you want to be located, the Cinema Hotel is probably not that far away. We will return to this hotel!

We arrived at 6am on Friday morning, and having rung in advance, they let us check-in to our room and have breakfast even though check-in isn't normally until 2pm. They also allowed us to check-out later when we left as our flight wasn't until later afternoon. The rooms were more on the basic side but a decent size and clean. The roof terrace on the 4th floor was nice. There was a computer for free internet use on this floor, as well as free wi-fi for the whole hotel. Overall - not as stylish as the hotels 8 minutes walk away on the beach front, but much cheaper and very pleasant.

The Hotel Cinema is a lovely boutique hotel with creative decor reminiscent of an old movie theater with tripod tables and spotlight reading lamps. The room was a bit small, but the hotel was very pleasant. The 4th floor rooftop deck was delightful and the 5 pm to 10 pm complimentary refreshments were an unexpected treat. We were there during Independence Day, so all the stores in the neighborhood were shut down. I suspect that it is a very bustling nice place for shopping when the stores are open, but we didn't experience that. It was an easy walk to the beach and to Rabin Square. Dizengof Square was also quiet when we were there because of the holiday. We ate at the Indian restaurant next door which was okay, but dark and not welcoming. The waiter was nice enough, but the owner was not cordial at all. The hotel, though, was great and we woudl recommend it.

We really enjoyed staying at Cinema Hotel. The location right on Dizengoff is perfect - good shopping/bars/restaurants right on Dizengoff, and a quick walk to the water and to King George and Sheinkin. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Snacks and drinks up on the roof in the afternoon was another nice touch. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

The Cinema Hotel attempts to recreate the boutique feeling of some Manhattan hotels such as the Paramount or the Royalton. It succeeds in copying the room size (extremely small), but does not have equivalent service. Although the buffet breakfast was excellent, the hotel did not have room service, which any hotel of 4-5 stars must have. Otherwise, the room was clean, the staff was courteous and the design was innocuous.

The location is very convenient. The breakfast is very good! The staff was not very helpful when we ask where to go and what to see. We arrived very early and the room was not ready. We were able to leave the luggage in the hotel.

All hotels are expensive in Tel Aviv, so this is not a surprise. Hotel is basic, but decent, in a converted movie theatre.

Hotel definitely has its charm. Room and bathroom were very small. Excellent neighborhood, one of the best in Tel Aviv. Fairly clean. Enjoyable stay. Bring your luggage to the room yourself - no help from the staff is offered. Get precise directions. GPS gets lost. Recommended, nevertheless, due to its charm and the neighborhood.

Location , berakfast, staff and building all very good. THe terrace and business kounge etc excellent. Complimetnary tea fruit and cakes in the afternoon - how lovely. Only complain is that the walls were thin and the noise from other rooms (what WAS that guy upstairs doing at 5 am?) and outside was not so good. Apart from that, would def go back there.

Have just returned from a long weekend in Tel Aviv having spent two nights in the Cinema hotel. Location is really good - about 5 minutes from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent - very friendly, spoke good English and were always wiling to help in any way. Breakfast is particularly good and coffee actually tastes like coffee. Take time to go up to the roof terace where complimentary drinks, snacks and fruit are available. Overall a really good hotel run by great staff.

My experience in Israel was enhanced by staying at this hotel.

The hotel was very accommodating, the room was pretty clean, but we had a light that came apart. They had a great breakfast bar, nice little spread in the evening and a nice balcony.

Tres bel hotel, design et chic. Service agreable, très bon petit dejeuner, bien situé à 10mn à pied de la plage. Prévoir taxi pour aller au port ou à Neve Tsedek à moins d'aimer marcher 30mn.
