Hotel 41 at Times Square - New York

Direkt am Times Square aber für New Yorker Verhältnisse sehr ruhig gelegenes kleines Hotel mit tollem Service. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber völlig ausreichend. Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder dieses Hotel nehmen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist schlichtweg grandios. Gegenüber des Hotels ist direkt ein Zugang zur Subway-Station TimesSquare. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch ziemlich sicher wieder dort buchen, evtl. aber in einem größeren Zimmer. Obwohl, wer verbringt seinen NewYork-Aufenthalt schon auf dem Zimmer. Und zum schlafen und duschen war es perfekt und vor allem wirklich sauber!

Dieses Hotel eignet sich für einen Kurzaufenthalt in New York....die beste Lage in der Stadt!! Allerdings sind die Zimmer sehr (!) klein....wirklich nur zum Schlafen geeignet. New York ist teuer und dieses Hotel ist sehr teuer....daran muss man sich gewöhnen...Insgesamt ist das Hotel mit noch gut zu beurteilen (2,3)! Viel Spaß in New York!

Lage: direkt am Times Square. Wenn man "mitten drin" zu einem fairen Preis unterkommen möchte dann führt hier kein Weg dran vorbei. Das Hotel ist in einem Top-Zustand und verfügt auch über eine sehr nette Bar. Der Service ist ebenfalls hervorragend und entspricht mindesten der Hotelkategorie. Jedoch: Manche Zimmer sind sehr, sehr klein. Wenn man nur 2-3 Tage eine Übernachtungsmögllichkeit sucht, ist dieses Hotel eine richtig gute Alternative.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, ruhig, aber klein.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Herzen von Manhattan, besser geht es nicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr, sehr klein, allerdings ausreichend. Super Service, alles sehr sauber, also: Buchen

if you're picky about size of hotels rooms in manhattan (good luck with that, btw) this isn't the hotel for you. otherwise, absolutely everything about hotel 41 is neat, tidy, organized. everything you'd expect is provided. air conditioning worked great (very important in august!) and was already on and set at 69 degrees as i entered the room. bed was firm but quite comfortable. extra pillows, nice. complementary breakfast was basic but adequate. self-serve cappuccino machine you could use past breakfasttime was a nice bonus. seriously, you'd be hard pressed to find hotel 41's equivalent at the hotels.com rate anywhere in the neighborhood.

I expected a closet of the room for the cost and location, and it was tiny, but the location was excellent. Easy to find, happening bar, nice continental bkfst, good coffee, helpful, pleasant staff. . .would definitely stay here again.

AC unit in window very loud and no pressure in shower. Room located at elevator and I probably got it cause of the discounted price. The location is perfect at Times Square and subway across the street.

Room (and bathroom)very small, but clean and attractive. Had all the amenities of a much more expensive hotel. Great location for theater-goers. Staff friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. We found the hotel to be in a GREAT location and we were able to walk to everything. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They even warned us not to be surprised by the very small room. The room was indeed extrememly small, an inside stateroom on a cruise ship is definitely bigger. However, we were barely in our room so it didn't really matter. When we were in our room, we didn't mind it being so small since it forced us to be closer. I would recommend this hotel to someone who is looking for a clean place to stay close to all the action in the city. The continental breakfast wasn't that bad either.

We arrived early and they were more than accomodating, they allowed us to park the rental car at the nearby garage and keep the discount rate on the parking fare as we would get while staying there. They upgraded our room before we checked in and let us keep our bags at the front desk after checkout. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful.

Great staff, excellent location, clean, comfy, good breakfast, great value for the money.

I have never been treated with such disdain by anyone, let alone a desk clerk at a hotel. My room was paid in full and still they acted as if I woed them something more when I asked for a different room. I got a back wall and a low floor and the room was a postage stamp.

Great room for the rate - well attended lobby and happy hour

Great price. Right Down the street from times square. The room is very small, but we were only in there to sleep and shower anyways. The AC/thermastat turned off in the middle of the night, someone came up right away and fixed it. Complimentary breakfast. Would Def stay there again

From reading all the other reviews we expected the room to be small, and it was, even though we were upgraded to a Superior Room. The biggest problem is that because the bed is so close to the air conditioner, it was very noisy and difficult to fall asleep. The air conditioner is literally in your ear.

Great location, only 2 blocks from Times Square and subways. Port Authority bus station at 42nd street is 1 block away and you can get to/from any airport quickly and cheaply. Employees were exceptionally helpful and friendly, but rooms are on small side. Bar downstairs was packed every evening during the week and almost empty on weekends. A great place to stay and if I return for more meetings at same location I will stay there again.

My only complaint about this hotel is the room size. Very small room and bathroom, but all we did was sleep so it really wasn't a big deal. The staff was very nice and the hotel and room was very clean. It was a fantastic location as well, right by Time Square.

I only stayed one night but I was very satisfied with the entire experience. I knew ahead of time that the room would be small and the window looked at a brick wall 10 inches away but it was very clean, the ceilings looked like they might be 10 feet high. The Aveeda products were a plus. The front desk staff were helpful and the location could not be beat.

I would have to say that I really enjoyed my stay. I would def stay there again. All staff were incredibly polite & helpful. They would hold your bags if your room isn't ready so you'll be able to grab something to eat. The location is unbeatable, just right around the corner of times square. They even welcome you with beautifully bottled water, and show you to your room. Bar area downstairs, free movie rentals, they provide you with maps etc etc. Great hotel!

This boutique hotel is tucked away just steps from all the action at Times Square. The decor is quite modern and everything about it was clean. But what impressed me the most was the staff. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. Don't stay there if you're going to spend all day in your room -- the rooms aren't large. But if you want a clean room in a place staffed by friendly people close to all the action, book a room before the management realizes that their prices are way too low for the area.

Although the hotel room was very small it was very clean. The service was awesome. the hotel was locatd walking distance from the Theater and walking distance to timesquare. i will recommend that hotel to anyone. I planning to go back soon!

Hotel 41 has a great location - Times Square and all of the Times Square amenities. The room was quite small - you get a bed and a bathroom. All was clean and extremely quiet. Our room blocked out all noise and lights, suprisingly so given the hotel location.

It was the perfect location from everything and great price. Nice and clean room, but very small; but you're hardly in your room anyway. It was very good despite the size. I would definitely come back!

The hotel was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. My only issue (which the hotel needs to know about)was: They suggested that we take a car service instead of a cab. The cab would have cost $45 to the airport. They said the car service would be more dependable. I was told the cost would be $55 plus toll. When we got to the airport the man said my fare was $75 plus toll. He would not give us our luggage until we paid him. I told myself that in the future I would not let this happen. Your hotal needs to know this. HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THEY DON THIS TO....

Hotel is clean, was renovated fairly recently (?), staff is nice. The only issue: microscopic rooms. OK for a few nights, but if you want to spend quality time in your romm, this might not be your best bet.

Everything was great about Hotel 41. Yes, the room was small, but considering how much time we actually spent in it, it was great. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, it was in a very convenient and safe location, not to mention the free continental breakfast. The only thing that would prevent us from staying again is if we had our son with us in a room built for 2.

We took the train from PA and this hotel was right near an exit from the train. The hotel staff was professional, helpful and courteous. The room was very small but we weren't in NY to hang out at the hotel. This hotel is a GREAT LOCATION and a great price in Times Square, walking distance to everything. The room and bathroom were really clean and the bathroom was even a decent size considering... We would definitley stay at this hotel again!!

It was a great location in the middle of the Brodway theaters. Hotel crew was so nice with us. A welcome water blue bottle is offer to you when you arrive. Small room but who cares we are in NYC!!! Breafast included. I will come back...

the biggest issue was the AC. That unit was VERY loud. Other then that the hotel and room were excellent!

Many have noted that this property has very small rooms. It does. A normal room is probably 8X14 -- with a larger than expected bathroom. The view that I had looking out the window was that of another building -- 18 inches away. These niggling complaints miss the point of this hotel at this location, but I don't want anyone to be surprised. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and helpful, the bath products in the bathroom are all Aveda -- which is top notch. And the location can't be beat if you're doing business near Times Square -- or have things to do around thew Theatre District. Top notch experience!

Hotel 41 was extremely convenient as it allowed us to walk to the conference and most of the meetings we were attending. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. On the downside, the room was very small. The hotel is also not ideal as a business hotel as the coffee shop/bar is the only place to meet others, and it can be quite noisy. The phones also didn't have speaker capability, which made a couple of conference calls that my colleague and I needed to do somewhat challenging. Overall, I would stay here again as long as the price doesn't increase significantly.

Great central location; very budget friendly. Clean, contemporary accommodations and helpful, energetic staff. Definitely recommend to others . . . plan to return, as well!

This hotel is all about location. It is very serviceable, the people at the front desk were VERY helpful and very nice. The room on the other hand was extremely small, in fact I don't believe I will ever see a smaller room for two people. But the reality is that if your staying in this location you don't need a large room. Over I would stay there again, I was very happy with everything.

Very nice experience at Hotel 41. We were only there for two nights but really had a great time. The location is fantastic, right off Times Square. The room was quite small (I had to go outside to change my mind... buh dump chi) but clean, with a good bathroom & shower. The view out our window was a brick wall but it didn't bother me since we weren't there to hang out in the hotel. Good bar though pricey drinks. On check in we had missed the happy hour so the clerk gave us two "buy one get one free" drink coupons which we used the next night. The best part of our stay here was the fantastic staff. Especially Melonie & Nemia. We were checking out on Easter Sunday but our flight wasn't until 6pm. Instead of storing our luggage they let us stay in the room until we left at 3pm, for no extra charge! That's how you treat a customer and build a loyal clientele. Loved our stay with Hotel 41, though next time I think we'll stay longer and splurge for a little bigger room.

I would recommend this hotel. Its in the heart of the city (time square) and staff is great. Room and hotel was clean and decor was chic.

hotel 41 is certainly a great option to new york city specially because of the location, people there is very kind and helpful and we just loved the hotel!!!

The price was pretty average for a stay in the city and the location was great if you are visiting times square. The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable but no view. There is a bar on site that was decent but closed pretty early for a Saturday night. Upon check in we recieved a buy one get one free drink at the bar also. There was a free breakfast in the am but we never made it down to see how it was. Overall the experience was good.

Awesome location, good staff, small room as expected in NYC. Good updated bathroom. View was of a brickwall but was quite ! Only negative was the uncomfortable bed. Would definitly recommend as a good value for NYC.
