Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont

the locationwise hotel is good and easy to find out..but the AC was making hell lot of sounds and my son dint sleep properly so do we both.and then in bathroom when I opened the bathtub faucet it came out and somehow I fixed and took bath...they should check before givin to any guest..really needs to take care of their equipments.

We booked 2 rooms at the hotel for a wedding. Both of our parties had a terrible experience with the hotel staff. At check in, the front desk clerk coughed in out faces SEVERAL times. The night clerk was clearly on drugs/drunk. They failed to make our wake-up call so we missed breakfast and no one ever apologized or offered a solution. The hotel itself has been updated and was very new and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The banquet hall was also very lovely. Don't expect much from their staff.

My circumstances weren't the best the scenario when I had to stay in this hotel but considering the moment, it was the closest thing next to my home. The room was clean, neat, and spacious. The price couldn't be even better considering the fact that I made a reservation on line like 3 hours prior to my stayin. Thank you.

I am always quite comfortable in the Holiday in Express level of accomodations but this one exceeded my expectation. I look like a recent remodel occcurred. Everything was great.

The location near the airport is a big help and the room was quiet despite the air traffic. Shuttle van service is very good plus they run at night. Breakfast spread was fresh and plentiful too. Room was nice.

We wanted to stay near O'Hare at the beginning and end of a trip overseas. The location and shuttle service were great. And the hotel had excellent long term parking. The only disappointment was the Breakfast. Much less variety that other Holiday Inn Expresses we have stayed at.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was only for an overnight but would recommend it for a longer stay. The only downfall I noticed was the price of snacks and drinks in the hotel. There is a target not far down the road and you will find these things much cheaper. Nice swim area, parking is cheap for the Chicago area and with the great price on the hotel it was like parking for free. Many places to eat real close by.

At first this looked like to was going to be really nice..... Our bathroom lacked towels. I had to go get them from the lobby. Next our shower ceiling was partially falling down from a water leak above. I have pictures of mold in the shower this caused. Finally, the computer setup to check flights and print boarding passes didn't work. I was allowed use of other guest computers but they wouldn't run FLASH so I couldn't get checked in for our flight there either.

One night stopover in Chicago. Found all staff pleasant from shuttle driver (extremely helpful) reception staff & breakfast personnel. Room clean & comfortable, pool area spotless, breakfast excellent, great choice of food. Would definitely stay here again

Nice place to stay. A little spendy for things like soda and snacks so bring your own in. No refrigerator so have to use their ice to keep things cold. Nice breakfast in the morning. You do have to pay for parking but well worth it, I counted it as part of the hotel price.

This was the 1st time we had to ay for parking at any hotel we have stayed with. The cost was $14 plus $2 in fees and taxes. This fee was in the fine print. I was very disappointed with this addition to our bill. When I mentioned it to one of the staff,they were surprised that I never paid for parking before.

Very nice and the price was right. Close to good restaurants and liked having shuttle service.

Pros: Good breakfast menu. Clean rooms. Place seemed nice Cons: Paid parking Rooms not very spacious No refrigerator/microwave

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We thought it strange that there was no microwave or icebox but we did not need them anyway. Markus was the desk clerk when we checked in and was very polite, helpful and courteuos. We arrived around midnight and were tired, he was most helpful. THANK YOU Markus!!!

this hotel was very nice, friendly customer service was wonderful and over place is very clean.

Watch out they will charge you $250.00 on your credit card even if you do not smoke. We do not smoke and still got charged. Hotel management will not return any phone calls.

I don't agree that anyone who stays should pay the parking lot fee. I understand that it is by O'Hare Airport, but there should be no fee for those that are already paying to stay at your hotel and high taxes of Chicago. Also, the shuttle service should be extended to the Rosemont Convention Center as well. It is 3 miles from the Hotel and that is not offered. We took a Taxi and the Taxi overcharged us. And that fact that your front desk says to take the bus over to the airport and take the blue line. They think about those that are not from Chicago and get lost. I like the room and the cleanliness of the room and the continental breakfast was nice, but was not happy about the extra money for parking in the hotel parking lot that I am paying and staying at. Thank you

the only problem i had was checking in. the rooms were not ready at the 4pm check in time. i was trying to get somewhere so it was a major problem

For the price, the hotel meets expectations. The room was comfortable and clean. However, keep the location in mind, especially if you're a light sleeper. The hotel is located very close to O'Hare airport, so you will constantly hear airplanes coming and going. If noise doesn't bother you, would be a nice place to stay.

If you need to stay near O'Hare, I'd recommend this hotel. It is much nicer than most "airport hotels" I've stayed in.

The hotel looked old, rooms small. Would have preferred a suite but the one they were going to put us in smelled like smoke (cigarettes). Staff was eager to please us though..

The room was very nice. The TV's cable was not hooked up but someone was up right away to fix it. The atmosphere of the Hotel was very nice. Shopping and restaurants close by. The continental breakfast exceeded expectations.

Pros: - Nice, large, quiet, CLEAN room - Free WiFi (what a concept) - Very nice people - Excellent, timely connection to ORD - Decent pool and fitness center - Fair price Cons: - No restaurant, and next-door restaurant is ok - Bathroom is tiny All in all, a great place for a short (1-2 day) meeting.

Everything was perfect at our stay. The only comment would be the pay for parking. I paid for the room and now you are making me pay for overnight parking. Other than that we would stay at the hotel again.

Stayed here for one night for an event and was not impressed. The evening check in staff seemed more interested in their skinny dipping adventures later that night then informing us of the $16 parking fee (and the gate wouldn't even work with our room key), the breakfast offered in the morning and didn't know the surrounding area that well. For the amount we paid we were dissatisfied. The bathroom had yellow stuff on the ceiling, the sink didn't drain, the blanket on the bed was paper thin, vending machines were $2.50 for a drink. The only redeeming service was the shuttle service. He was excellent.

the hotel was great I can't think of anything that I didn't like about the breakfast was great and it's a convient location and i would stay there again

Best hotel bed I've slept on in a long time. Nice being able to walk over to All-state Arena from the Hotel. Only complaint is that you are charged to park there, and it doesn't say anything about it in the Hotels.com listing.

It was raining when I checked in and the window in my room had a serious leak above the air conditioner/heater. I informed the staff about it when I checked out.

The hotel overall was clean, however, the shower in one of the rooms was broken and two attempts did not fix it, my friend had to take showers in my room. Lots of planes noise. Breakfast was OK.

There's no free parking when guess check in and room quility: Air blower not working before they send someone to fix and clothes press door broke. It's not qualify as my memory for "Holiday Inn express Hotel" with other location.

The hotel was nice, had a great pool and fitness center, and offered a free continental breakfast. It would have been nice to have a little more choice on the breakfast bar (i.e., eggs, bacon, etc.), but it was a free. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. However, the TV was very fuzzy and the toilet made a very loud noise when flushed. My major complaint was the parking charge. We were unaware that you had to pay for parking and thought it was a bit high considering they didn't offer shuttles to the train stations. They did have a shuttle to O'Hare, but we didn't need or use it. The staff was friendly. However, the fire alarm went off at 3:30 in the morning and the next day at check out, no one mentioned it, or apolgized for the inconvenience. All in all it was a good experience. But for the price I could probably stay closer to downtown Chicago next time.
