Best Western Hotel Charlemagne - Lyon

Weather turned hot and they had already turned off airconditioning. Room was really small and only place to sit was the bed. Did not look like the pictures on the internet.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bowl of sweets was a nice touch. We reported a hole on the bathroom door just in case it had not been noticed. The photos of the rooms look better than they actually are. Ours could have done with being bigger and the bed was also too small. The temperature was hard to regulate and there should have been a kettle and cups there; we should never have had to ask for them; besides we always bring ours just in case and with good reason. I appreciated the curtains being very efficient at making the room dark as I cannot sleep unless it is very dark. There was not enough choice of TV channels and no TV book was availableapart from the Canal + one. However the variety of newspapers at the reception provided a programme. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the sheet system is not hygienic.The bathroom was great.Our last night was interrupted by embarrassing noises in the carpark: some people, whether they are the staff or not, should respect others. The hotel is ideally placed by a railway station and not far from the city centre.

bon hôtel, très prêt de la gare de perrache. Bon accueil. Chambre et salle de bains spacieuses. Juste un peu bruyant. J'y retournerai.

Si può gustare Lione da un ottimo punto di partenza da tutti i punti di vista.

Vi fik udsøgt betjening fra den unge bemanding i receptionen - gratis parkering i aflåst parkeringsområde. Ligger lige ved Banegården og 5 minutter fra gågaden Rue Victor Hugo. Morgenmadsbuffet over middel!

Un accueil chaleureux, une chambre avec bain (Charlemagne) dans des dimensions raisonnables, au calme (côté terrasse). Buffet/petit déjeûner très correct. Petit bémol : une isolation phonique légère avec la salle d'eau du voisin ! Bon séjour malgré tout.

Albergo molto bello e accogliente, facile da trovare e comodo per raggiungere il centro. Consigliatissimo!

Bon hôtel, près de la Gare Perrache donc pratique quand on arrive et quand on repart de Lyon. La chambre n'est pas très grande mais très propre et confortable.En étage élevé, avec la climatisation, on n'entend pas trop la circulation même du côté rue. Le personnel est très gentil, nous a fourni un plan et indiqué les principaux sites à voir.

Dit hotel ligt op loopafstand van station Perrache, dus ook vlakbij de winkels. Het is een mooi hotel met vriendelijk (Engels sprekend) personeel. De straat waarin het hotel staat is wat minder, 's Avonds laat lopen daar prostituees, maar overdag is het een prettige buurt.

Facile d'accès et personnel agréable. En revanche, état de propreté très insuffisant et surtout problèmes d'odeurs nauséabondes dans tout l'hôtel

très bon hotel chambre normale très bon emplacement non loin du centre ville à pied métro à 2 pas place de parking gratuites à cotée très bel hall d'entrée personnels sympatiques pour nous aider à nous diriger et ou visiter la ville de Lyon

Hotel facile d'accès.Peu d'emplacement de parking, pensez à réserver.Chambre correcte....à condition que l'on ne vous attribue pas les plus mauvaises.... alors que d'autres restent disponibles !!. Un peu cher pour sa catégorie.

Hotel tres agreable proche du centre ville et de la gare Perrache tres bien desservi par le tramway et a 10 minutes du centre commercial de part dieu

la situation de l'hotel est pratique, mais le quartier pas terrible, les chambres ne correspondent pas aux photos qui s'affiche sur le site lors de la reservation! plutot decevantes, et le service en chambre pour un 3etoiles est inexistant le week-end! manque de personnel! a ne pas reiterer!

j'ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel, le professionnalisme du personnel, et la chambre agréable et sapcieuse.

C'est un bon hotel, rien a redire la-dessus. Pres de la gare Perrache, il est facile d'acces, pas tres loin du metro. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses et le personnel serviable. Il est tout de fois dommage que le restaurant (et le room service) ne soit accessible que de 19:30 a 21:30, c'est assez leger, surtout au niveau du room service. L'unique 'probleme' est l'emplacement: le quartier est mort la nuit, limite mal-fame.
