Lowes was conveniently located to downtown and for my business at Tulane University. I would recommend staying at this hotel for every trip. Ask for government rate prior to booking with Hotels.com in the future for state tax exemptions. . The hotel would not honor the exemption because we did not note through hotels.com

Hotel was fantastic, the room was exceptional, plenty of room to move about. The parking was a little steep but I didn't mind paying it becaused I saved so much money booking it through Hotels.com. If I ever go back I will most deffinately stay here again.

For the price for this hotel was outstanding. The bed was the best I have slept in while traveling. Great location, only had to walk a couple of blocks in either direction to catch a street car to go to the French quarters or the museum district. The only down was it was a little pricey for internet in the room but free in the lobby which had plenty of tables to set at. The parking is a little high also. I plan to go back soon.

We have stayed at Loews many times and have never been disappointed. Sometimes we have had a question or decision to be made relating to our stay and it has always been decided in our favor. I am very pleased with Loews New Orleans and will always look to them first when I return.

Clean hotel with wonderful staff ready to help with any need. Located along Miss River with rooms overlooking. I'll go back tomorrow.

they charge a lot for overnight valet parking

This hotel surprised me completely. It was beautiful, comfortable, great service and great location. The price was even better. Stay here if you ever get the chance.

Stayed three nights & loved every minute. Super location across from casino, trolley to french market a block away, easy driving to location from interstate, convenient to super places to eat, outstanding view of the Mississippi River, great friendly informative service & employees, great room, very clean, bell service very quick & efficient, car valet very fast. Recommend highly as a moderately priced stay in N.O. Will be staying again!!!!!

We had never stayed a a Loews before and were a bit skeptical but couldn't beat the price of the hotel. We arrived and from entering to leaving recieved immaculate service from the doorman, the concierge, front desk even the pool attendants. One night we ordered room service and the gentleman who brought it up prepared everything in front of us (unwrapping the dishes, placing napkins on our laps etc). This is a hotel we will visit again and again.

Problem with the A/C in my room. Hotel upgraded me to a suite for my troubles.

We were moving our daughter into college ini New Orleans and came a few days early. The hotel was fabulous in every way. We loved our rooms and the location was definitely within walking distance of the street car and Canal Street and the FQ. Valet parking was very convenient. We will come back again and go to the bar even if we end up having to stay somewherre else.

The hotel and it's employees were great, but some of their available services need some work. My nephew found this hotel and said they had free parking, but what they fail to mention is that they only have valet parking, and every time you get your vehicle you are charged. I find that ridiculous when you are already paying to stay in their hotel, especially considering how much they charged for this service. I only used this service four times and paid more than one hundred dollars. I've also never stayed in a hotel where you had to pay for internet service in your room. The only free internet service is in the lobby.

This is a great hotel very clean. The room was huge and it was very clean. The price we got was unbelieveable. They didnt have any non smoking rooms available at the time so we got a smoking room suite instead. The room didnt smell like smoke at all thou. We had a stand up shower and a separate tub. Would defintely stay there again. Its about a 10 minute walk from Burbon Street and across the street from the casino.

Nothing really incredible i guess but incredibly clean, comfortable room with a GREAT view!

LOOK NO MORE THIS HOTEL HAS IT ALL. GREAT GREAT GREAT LOCATION, GREAT AND FRIENDLY STAFF, AND COOL BARS INSIDE WITH GRAT FOOD. THA ROOMS ARE SO NICE SEP SHOWER AND TUBE NICE VIEWS IT WAS AN AMAZING NIGHT. AND OH DID I MENTION THE BEDS ARE EXTREMLY COMFORTABLE (and i normally dont sleep under hotel sheets but i did here). VERY NICE!! and the lowest pet rate in town!!

The hotel and staff were great. The location just of the French Quarter was great. The price was right! Watch out for the parking! $30 per night is to be expected in New Orleans, but more than I am used to.

Great location, 3 blocks walking distance to French Quarter with elegant hotel lobby in modern style carried all the way to the hotel room with luxury appointments.

This was a very nice hotel for the price. The room was small but very clean, it did not have a microware or refrigerator but when we asked they did brig a refrigerator to the room. The room service was great, the parking was quite expensive, $29 a night.

We arrived at the Loews after a 2 day drive and everything from the Valet Staff to the rest of the Hotel staff was wonderful. The parking was kinda spendy but overall I suppose worth it to know my vehicle was secure when not needed and other than Sunday morning when there were so many checking out at once the wait was minimal for the staff to get my car. Anything we needed was attended to promtly...our room after being cleaned Sat did not have clean towels brought in and was not cleaned on Sunday but considering we had one member in our party who slept at odd times and probably made it difficult for the cleaning staff I'm not so sure this was the hotel staff's error so much as they maybe did a great job of dealing with a difficult guest! Kudos to the staff for their patience with him. Overall I'd stay again and recommend to everyone that comes into my establishment that if they ever go to New Orleans to stay at the Loews. Ps: thought the price for internet hookup a bit ridiculous but we needed it for my daughter so had no choice but to use it :(

A great stay, excellent location, great service. A beautiful hotel. Parking was $29/night but that was expected.

Great room, great staff, great service.

We met friends that were staying in the Quarter. They came to Loews to meet us before dinner and made the comment, "I wish we would have stayed here. It is only a few blocks from the French Quarter and is a much nicer hotel for the money." We will definately look for a Loews in any city that we stay in.

I stayed at Loews hotel last week. the hotel is very nice and the staff is really helpful and nice BUT they will nickel and dime you for everything. the charge the highest parking rate i've ever heard of (AND I'M FROM New Orleans!)PLUS a high charge for internet access PLUS their room service was crazy expensive for 2 burgers that were TERRIBLE! ALSO they have (and this is current) almost triple the stay tied up on my credit card and it's 10 days later. they double charged me the day i arrived and the overcharging never stopped!! now when i call them they say that it's my Credit card co and not them and there is nothing they can do....Honestly I think the double charging is really ridiculous!! Also I NEVER had my room cleaned the whole time I was there.... To be fair that may be because I was traveling with a dog. To summarize the people were super NICE however it is a cheap rate offered to pull you in and the price is MUCH higher when you count parking and internet and any room service. DON"T EVEN THINK OF using your room phone!!!!!! Since by review rules I'm not allowed to tell you what I paid for things I think you should know it doubled my room rate. So whatever they tell you the room will be DOUBLE that then DOUBLE that again for the overcharge to your credit card. Otherwise it was a really nice stay.....

The only bad thing I can say about the hotel was that the "cold" water was luke warm at the coldest... otherwise a great experience

This hotel was fantastic. 3 blocks from the mouth of Bourbon street and close to the River-walk. Everything you need is within walking distance. We did NOT have a car but noticed that if we did parking was $30/night in a private garage. The hotel was fantastic. Internet was $12.95 a night, which I don't understand how hotels can get away with charging for internet still, but they do, for now. Other than that, comfortable bed, quiet room with good views, and a wonderful friendly staff. I am looking forward to going back. Thanks!

I was pleasantly surprised at the room we got for the rate we paid on Hotels.com. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was very clean. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed from booking on Hotels.com. The hotel's location is within walking distance to all major attrations so we didn't really need to move the car. The only concern is parking is a bit stiff at $29 per night, but we found several alternatives surrounding the hotel. I would love to stay at this hotel again upon my next visit.

I was seriously impressed to get a room at Loew's in New orleans for 40% off their advertised rate. I had never stayed there before and knew nothing of the chain, but was really surprised at the luxury of the hotel. The furniture was modern, not the usual hotel fare. The beds and bedding were great and the staff was wonderful! Great experience! Would stay there again!
