Best Western Hotel-Pension Arenberg - Wien

Äuserst schlechte Parkmöglichkeit. Beim Auschecken wollten die nur Barzahlung für Parking (bin das von 4 Sterne Hotes anders gewöhnt). Toilette war noch vollgespritzt vom Gast vorher!!!

An excellent situation convenient for the CAT (airport train) but on the edge of the old town. Extremely good value for Vienna - a spacious and comfortable room, very well heated when it was snowing outside. we would choose it again.

This hotel is literally minutes away from the city center with shopping and st. stephen's cathedral, and the bus stop is really just outside your door for several different buses. The rooms are fairly small, but i'm pretty sure they are no smaller than the average mid priced european hotel room. Considering the price we paid and the convienince of the location (you don't need to take the bus, the shopping center is maybe a five minute walk away) and the awesome breakfast they have in the mornings, this hotel is a great bargain. Plus, there is a very pretty building to look at across the street and a grocery store, coffee shop, and bar all on the same block.

This hotel is located on two floors of a larger building on the ring road surrounding the inner city of Vienna. It is very easy to walk to any points of interest that you would want to see in this area, but you can also get on the tram that circles the ring road. Breakfast is served between 7 and 10am, with a wide selection of options. Parking is available in a public underground garage located next to the hotel. You can purchase parking passes from the hotel at a price of 15 euros/day. Each room also has a high speed modem that you can access for 16 euros for 24 hours, you will need an Ethernet cable to use the modem, but this can be rented from the reception desk. The receptionists speak fluent English in case your German is a bit rusty. Housekeeping seems to do a thorough job, and they even leave a traditional Viennese candy on your pillow. All in all I found this hotel to be a very good deal, especially considering its location.

Vienna was VERY hot. The air conditioning did not keep up with hteh heat. Would highly recommend modernizing the air conditioning system. Otherwise, the hotel was dreamy.

Fick inte rätt kategorie på rum ibörjan, men OK efter att vi klagade. Detta är mer ett pensionat, än hotell. Gångavstånd till stadskärnan. Trots lägre kvalitet, så har pensionatet en charm
