Hotel Regina - Barcelona

Zentrale Lage trotzdem nicht direkt an einer Durchgangsstrasse Abfallsammelstelle gegenüber dem Hotel ist allerdings in der Nacht störend

We really enjoyed our trip to Barcelona, Hotel Regina is in a great location, just off Cataluyna Square & about 3 minutes walk from the top of the Ramblas. It's conveinient to the main street for shops, restaurants etc but not noisy. The staff were very helpful, organising a taxi for us to the airport (about €25). The downside was the Bar/Lounge, really dull & expensive, no atmosphere at all, so we just had one drink and then headed off to the Ramblas. I would recommend Regina & stay there again myself

The hotel was very convenient to attrations, restaurants and the port where my cruise was scheduled to depart. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

My family of four stayed at the Hotel Regina for two nights recently. We had a family room and it was quite comfortable for all of us and our luggage. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was not overly friendly but seemed to answer all of our questions. The location couldn't have been better as you were able to walk to most everything. The room was very comfortable quiet and clean. We loved the fact that we had a refrigerator in our room and a small grocery store across the street.

This is a really nice hotel with a very modern feel. The whole city seems to be filled with contradictions between historic and modern architecture and this hotel is no different. An old exterior with a modern boutique hotel inside. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. I believe we were in Superior rooms because they didn't have a queen configuration available. Positives: Location, staff, decor, comfort. Negatives: Almost no sound deadening through your door. The German's down the hall that came in at 3am laughing and slamming doors did not make for a fun way to wake up. We were able to check in early and they stored our bags...still, our rooms were ready around 10:00 which was fantastic.

the ratea were a little high but the room size was fantastic. if you have small children, bring along a dvd player because the hotel dose not provide enough english speaking chanels.

It was a good hotel. There was a party from another hotel on the third night of our stay and at our request they switched our room the next day from an "inner" room with a window on an air vent to a room with a view of the street that was further away from the other hotel. The first room was acceptable; the second was very pleasant.

Modern, contemporary updated hotel. Room was small and in the back. Larger rooms appeared to be very nice but do not know if price significanly higher. Small windows. Noise from room doors that had to be slammed to close. Clean room. Nice hotel staff. Good free internet service in the lobby. Good free use of health club located nearby. Excellent location next to bustling plaza Catalunya and Los Ramblas.

We had a nice one night stay at the Hotel Regina, just a few short minutes from Las Ramblas. The hotel was comfortable and cozy, the staff attentive and English speaking. Our room was very quiet and the bed was huge. Had a great shower and it was an easy walk to catch the Aerobus to the airport in the morning. I would stay there again.

This hotel is situated in an ideal spot. Really central, convenient to the main metros, very safe and within walking distance to restaurants and sights, but still far enough away from the noise and crowds of La Ramblas at night. The lobby was very charming, and the hotel, including the room was immaculate. I will say the room I stayed in was indeed a little on the small side, with not a lot of room on the foot side on the bed from the wall. The size of the room is more comparable to what you would find within this budget in New York or London. There was a TV mounted on the wall up high so one could comfortably view from the bed. The bathroom, again on the small side but immaculate with a lovely newly renovated shower and fixtures. There was also a wardrobe and a desk, a small balcony which looked over a quiet (but safe) street. And a half fridge with mini bar, but some room to store your own beverages. I would definitley recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay for a week or less in Barcelona and want to be very central. Any longer and you'd probably want to opt for something slightly more spacious, or perhaps an apartment rental.

We were shocked when the elevator door opened on the 2nd floor. As a stark contrast to the nice lobby, upstair decor was that of a cheap inn. The layout of the floor was that of a dorm. The room had no space but for the bed and the furniture looked very cheap. Mattress quality was really bad. Bathroom showerglass was not complete and water splashed all over the bathroom when taking shower. Walls are so thin you have to stay awake on bed until all the drunk neighbors fill in their room by 2AM. Cleaning lady was rude and concierge were not friendly and not knowledgeable. I will not stay at this hotel again and won't recommend anyone.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and thought Hotel Regina was a great place to stay. Just off Placa Catalunya, the hotel is in a very central location. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, and they made our stay even more special with a bottle of cava to celebrate our anniversary. My only complaint was that the rooms was not as well soundproofed as I would have liked - we could clearly hear the people next door taking a shower, but otherwise would highly recommend.

This hotel is located just steps from the subway and city center. It is an absolutely perfect place to stay and be able to explore all of Barcelona. Breakfast at the hotel is very good and worth the price!

Modern, clean, a little worn in places but very comfortable. We were very pleased with the amenities for the price we paid, great value. The location was top notch, within walking distance of everything you could want but on a side street so it was not too noisy. We did hear the Metro rumbling at night but this must be hard to avoid in such a big city. Overall, we were thrilled with the place and would definitely stay at Hotel Regina again.

Great location for exploring Barcelona- just around the corner from La Ramblas. Several excellent restaurants nearby. Also very convenient for Metro or the Bus Touristic at the Plaza. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable.

We arrived in Barcelona just prior to a cruise and wanted to stay a day to visit some of the sites. This hotel was perfect. Very close to Las Ramblas, Passeg de Gracia and the 2 metro stations, all with in walking distance. The hotel is just off the Cataluna Plaza. Hotel staff was very friendly and they have free internet for their hotel guests, which was a huge plus for me. When in Barcelona, I would stay here again.

My mum and I went to Barcelona for a long "girlie weekend" and found the hotel to be a great base. It is in a fantastic location, centre of everything but on a quiet side street. Literally everything you want or need is around the corner. We had a room at the back, not the biggest room, quirky shape but the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in and I'm a seasoned leisure and business traveller! The staff were delightful and very helpful. We had a small problem with our shower which was fixed immediately on the Friday night...we were impressed. Lovely bar - sensible prices and very inviting. Great for recovering in. We didn't breakfast in the hotel but around one corner is Cafe Zurich and around the other Starbucks. The whole place was immaculate and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to Barcelona. A kettle in the room would have been the icing on the cake but we survived.

Helpful staff, convenient location to all transportation and easy walking to many attractions. It was a great deal.

Great location at the top of Las Ramblas. Be sure to ask for the corner rooms, these are much larger than the typical European room. The staff was very helpful with recommendations on restaraunts and where to go.

Fantastic location. The Regina is a very clean hotel and quiet, especially considering its location. Staff are very friendly and speak English well if your Spanish or Catalan isn't. If I was being picky, our room would have been better for another chair, a small table and some tea/coffee making facilities. The room size was good and the bed was very comfortable.

luxurious feel, excellent location, lots of nice goodies in the room, but staff not particularly friendly or accommodating and the room with 4 in was only just big enough with 2 adults and 2 small children (there were 4 adult bathrobes so they obviously think it is big enough for 4 adults!).

In such a great location. We couldn't have been happier. not loud at all and we were right on the street.

Nice Boutique hotel. Had a family suite one queen and 2 double beds. Starbucks right next store. Great location one block to tour bus and 2 blocks to ramblas. Free computers to use with internet access was a nice bonus.

Good clean quiet hotel right on Pl. Catalunya. Regina had nice amenities like chapstick and mint foot lotion in the room. Rooms had boutique-like feel. One note: we left the "do not disturb" sign on our door and found that maid service had come into our room despite the sign. It seemed odd since they made the beds, but did not clean the bathrooms (i.e. replace any of the towels or toiletries). Everything of value was locked in safe and appeared undisturbed. Would recommend using safe and being careful - Regina is a busy, tourist hotel. Overall, a nice choice, great location and we were happy with our stay.

Staff greeted us in very friendly manner although room wasnt ready for 12 as stated. No matter, we left our bags and returned later. Room very very small with no window. Little extras were welcome touch - mini bottle of wine, some nuts, chocolate, comfy bathrobes and slippers etc... However bathroom mirror was dirty - probably just rushed trying to get the room ready in time. Bed comfy. Liked the hotel and friendly staff but if stayed again would definitely request bigger (normal) size room with a window.

The Hotel Regina provided us with a nice room for four. Its location is just off La Ramblas but far enough away to be quiet and outside of the activity of that busy thoroughfare. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our room for four was quite spacious and pleasant. Hotel offered free internet access and has three PCs dedicated to that purpose. Papers in English (Herald Tribune) and Spanish are available in the lobby. Wake up calls and taxi requests were completely punctual.

The location was excellent. Nearby the Rambla and mayor attractions. The hotel is pretty old but well kept but it was overpriced for the room comfort we had.

Generösa välstädade rum (inkl. badrummet). Tyst, inga ljud från andra rum, och vi hade tur att ha fönster mot en liten bakgård med blomplanteringar så vi hade inga trafikljud heller. Receptionen är fruktansvärt trist men personalen är trevlig! Frukost åt vi inte på hotellet. Mycket nära Pl. Catalunya (med hållplatser för flyg-, stads- och sightseeingbussar, tunnelbana och taxi) och La Rambla, endast ca 50 m. Livsmedelsbutik och kaféer i omedelbar närhet till hotellet. Vi är väldigt nöjda och kommer att bo här igen.

Mooi hotel goed gelegen, direct in het centrum van Barcelona, maar in een niet al te drukke straat. Ik had een 4-pers.kamer om ook de kinderen op de kamer te hebben. Voldoende ruimte en comfort. Het ontbijtbuffet was prima. Ik vond het hotel wel wat gehorig m.b.t. de naastgelegen kamers. Desondanks zou ik een volgende keer zeker opnieuw hier boeken.

Regina hotell oppfylte alle våre krav til et hotellopphold i Barcelona. Hotellet er gammelt, men er pusset opp til en moderne standard. Utsøkte designmøbler i bar og resepsjon. Rommet var romslig, svært behagelige senger. Stor flatskjerm, minibar, gratis trådløst nettverk. Liten balkong. Effektiv airconditition. Beliggenheten er svært sentral, i en liten sidegate 2-3 min. å gå til Placa . dCatalunya. Ingen støyproblemer. Renholdet og servicen var upåklagelig. Vi velger helt klart dette hotellet på nytt !

Svært sentralt beliggende. Utmerket service og informasjon. Godt utstyrt rom. Dyr frokost, men uttallige muligheter i nabolaget for lokal spansk og rimelig desayuno eller en kjapp frokost fra Starbucks på hjørnet.
