Die wichtigsten Attraktionen sind gut zu Fuss bzw. mit öf. Vm zu erreichen! - Tagesticket kaufen! Einzelfahrt im Cablecar kostet 5 $, das Tagesticket für alle Transportmittel (Cablecar / Bus / Strassenbahn, U-Bahn) kostet 12 $!Die Tickets gibts u.a. unten in der METRO Station - Parken kann man u.a. direkt gegenüber: Leider 30 $ pro Tag - Karten für den Alcatraz Besuch unbedingt vorher per Internet kaufen/reservieren (alcatrazcruises.com). Touren sind zum Teil über Tage hinweg ausgebucht! - Im Hotel stehen kostenfrei 3 Rechner mit Internet Zugang zu Verfügung / WLAN auf den Zimmern fürs Notebook ist ebenfalls incl. - Auf jeden Fall zu den Twin Peaks fahren! Von da hat mal einen sagenhaften Blick über die gesamte Stadt - Besuch im Museum of modern Art: Am ersten Dienstag jeden Monats ist im MOMA der Eintritt frei! Eintritt kostet sonst um die 12 $ pro Person.

Wir können dieses Hotel für Kurztrips nach SF wärmstens empfehlen. Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und eine strategisch günstige Lage direkt am Fuß der Transamerika Pyramide. Auch nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit eine Gegend, in der man sich sicher fühlen kann. Sehr komfortable und saubere Zimmer Internetnutzung im Foyer kostenfrei möglich

Vor allem der Respekt der Privatsphäre (Privacy Please Schild an der Tür wird auch so verstanden) ist ein großes Plus. Gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

As an older woman travelling alone my top priorities were safety, cleanliness and convenience. This hotel ticked all the boxes. I always require tea/coffee making facilities, the frig and microwave were a bonus. The reception staff were present and courteous. I neither wish nor expect to be treated like royalty. The restaurant next door , serving simple food was very good value and convenient. I have seldom eaten a better steak. The early check in facility was very welcome after an allnight train journey. Inside the hotel I felt perfectly safe and secure. The surrounding area was pleasant, seemed safe, was fairly quiet and close to my areas of arrival /departure. Public transport is also very easily accessible, 5 minutes walk. All in all, I would certainly stay here agaain.

Price and location met my expectations. The room is great for a single, however I would not consider staying there if I were traveling with my wife. I will consider booking the Club Quarters when traveling alone in the future.

Club Quarters is in a great location, just off of Embarcadero, near Chinatown, and walking distance to the BART. It really is in a perfect spot. Best of all...the quality of the room is comparable to the Hyatt Regency, just up the street, but the rates are MUCH cheaper. I would even go on to say that the rooms are cleaner than some of the other "chain" hotels, but keep in mind the rooms, are a bit smaller. They are however extremely comfortable. The beds are great, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and it has little amenities that really add up. (For instance, they provide refillable water bottles...sounds like nothing, but the convenience is great!)

Excellent locaion for the center of activities in San-Francisco; most areas are within ten minutes walking distance, and the rooms are quite nice. The Elephant and Castle Resturant could do with an improved and expanded variety menu.

This was my second stay at the QCSF, and I'll be back. The pub / restaurant next door is a nice bonus, perfect for morning and evening meetings!

The hotel staff were wonderful, even telling us about how to avoid the hefty overnight parking charges in the garages by finding spots on the street. It is near the BART and street car to the Warf, so you won't need as car unless you want to explore outside the city. There was only one sour note and that was the restaurant next door. We walked out of it after waiting nearly an hour for Sunday breakfast. It was dramatically understaffed.

the hotels was clean, great location, walking distance to the wharf, embarcadero, china town. some of the taff was polite and helpful; some we very rude and not willing to help. Teh hotel doe snot have a pool and does not provide parking facilities. There is a parking structure 1 block down and accross the street but it costs $32.00 a day!!! TV's in the room are too far aways from the bed. Bathroom in the room is standard

Room was a bit small but that is the only critique. It's in a great location in the financial district, close to the Ferry Building, China town and Union Square.

My freind will stay your hotel because good condition' hotel

The hotel was stationed very close to all of the public transportation types available as well as Chinatown. There was always someone at the front desk unlike others have complained about. They were very helpful and seemed eager to help. It was a good staff and hotel which helped me and my fiance have a great time in San Francisco

Very accessible location, small room, very clean. Bare bone services... (Free tap water, really???) Very thin walls, pray the guy next door doesn't snore. All in all, good deal if you are looking for a place to sleep downtown.

This is our go-to hotel in SF. Close to North Beach, EMB, BART, etc. We even walked to J-town (although walking up Nob Hill probably wasn't the best idea). Great price too!

This hotel was fantastic. The room was a fine size and had everything I needed. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The location was fine.

The rooms are very small with little area to move around. The walls are paper thin, so you know exactly what your neighbor is doing at all times. We ordered our reservations 2 months ahead of time and they gave us the wrong type of rooms. there is no parking at the hotel, so you have to pay to park ($36/day).

Small rooms, but great location, great rate. Place is very very safe. Awesome that you can fill water bottles for free. And again, great rate for the city.

It's hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in SF without staying in the slums. Club Quarters was great! Location, staff, cleanliness- we will be staying again!

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Good for business travelers; no frills, just basics. Tight/small lobby, but efficient. Little out of the cental San Fran area, but close enough to the bay for a 10 min. walk. Stay here almost everytime I'm in San Fran.

Pros: Free bottled water on each floor of hotel! Short walking distance to Embarcadero, North Beach, and Union Square. Surrounded by coffee shops, bakeries, and fresh lunch eateries. Cons: Tiny rooms, like 100sq/ft small. Hallways are REALLY noisy. You can hear any normal conversation with your door closed. The bathroom is also tiny and there is no "real door" it was like a swinging closet door. Did not feel private on the pot. Also, being located the financial district, most shops/restaurants and cafes are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Oh, also Club Quarters will hold and extra $60 bux per night on your credit card on top of the nightly rate for "incidentals"

The hotel staff and the comfortable loung was awsome, everyone from the front desk clerks to the bell boy was fantastic and very friendly. I would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it.

CQ in San Fran was clean and convenient, staff was also very helpful. Room was perfect size for one person. Free wireless and well designed work station make working in the room a pleasure (almost forgot about the free printing). Free filtered water is also a bonus. Excellent area, close to many interesting ethnic restaurants, shopping, and of course the financial district. Would definitely stay here again, especially for the price!

Service was not good, room was small and room service sucks!

We stay in San Francisco frequently and have tried several of the hotels in the area. Judging by photos of the hotel and comments left by previous guests, we decided to give it a try. I wouldn't say the stay was bad, it just wasn't what we had expected. Big negatives: 1) The "kitchen" is actually just a sink, microwave and fridge. 2) the windows don't open--- this makes for a very stuffy room, regardless of what the actual weather is outside (which was gorgeous btw). We didn't spend that much time in the room so it wasn't a deal breaker but I'd rather be in place where I can get some fresh air. Overall, decent stay but not a memorable hotel. Definitely will not be staying here again.

You check yourself in and out at a kiosk in the lobby. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. This is not an emotional property, but it's a great value if you are just looking for a place to crash.

If you are looking for a well-maintained hotel in a central location with easy access to the Embarcadero(only a few blocks away), Union Square, and the Chinese/Italian districts of the city, then this hotel is a perfect fit. My room was spotless, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful to me during my stay. When I arrived, I asked for a quiet room and the person at the front desk gave me a room on an upper floor to ensure that there was no street noise. All in all, my experience was a very good one, and I'll stay at this hotel again. My only complaints would be that (1) my view consisted of a brick wall with a broken window across from my room and (2) my room was separated by a door to the adjoining room and I could hear every sound coming from the adjoining room. My neighbor obviously could too because, the one night I did turn on my TV, he began yelling "Quiet!!" through the door. I eventually turned it off because, when he could no longer hear it, I couldn't either! Lucky for both of us that neither of us spent much time in our rooms!

Access to the hotel rooms is limited to those who have a key card to the room which is also used to activate the elevator. I had a feeling that the hotel facility is well guarded and security is good.

I booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend. My stay was very pleasant; however, I was unaware that the hotel was not entirely non-smoking. Upon check-in, I was prompted to choose a smoking or non-smoking room. I chose non-smoking. I did not realize there were only non-smoking rooms, not non-smoking floors. This proved somewhat bothersome when some of the guests in rooms near me began smoking and the smoke wafted into my room. I found this troublesome because I was 8 months pregnant at the time of my stay and I was very sensitive to the smoke. Had I known about the absence of non-smoking floors, I would not have booked this hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was wonderful and in a great location.

it seems everytime i would visit the front desk (no matter the time), there were always at least 10 guests and only one representative trying to help them out. the phone would ring, and instead of helping live customers, the receptionist would take the call! other than this, great hotel with a good location. the free water bottle station is a plus!

We booked this hotel for a visiting relative and decided it looked interesting, so we booked ourselves into a one room suite for a few days as well. The room was very comfortable and smart looking. The beds and pillows were by far the best we've experienced in a hotel for some time. (note to self call hotel and find out where to buy these pillows!) The room service from the Pub next door was quick and satisfactory. The only downside for us was that both my wife and I use a cane or walker and getting to our room was like being a "rat in a maze looking for cheese". We walked down three hallways with our room at the very end of the fourth hallway. By the time we got to the room, my wife announced that it was a good thing the room was comfortable because she wasn't moving from the room. So all you young healthy folks will be just fine and those of us older types might want to determine exactly where our room will be located.

The room was perfect size, had all the amenities that we needed!

Club Quarters in San Francisco is in the heart of the Financial District and a short walk to the Ferry Building, Chinatown and Union Square. Ask for an inside room, though, because the outside windows of the carry the noise from the neighboring San Francisco Fire Department. Using your room key to operate the elevator makes you feel very secure.

Front desk staff was almost nonexistant while helping with reservations booked on line and that needed their attention.

It was a good room with great amenities~
