Grande Albergo Sole - Palermo

Es ist ein angenehmes und ruhiges Hotel, das als Oase im lauten und aufregenden Palermo genau richtig ist. Die Dachterasse ist bei Sonne ein absoluter Traum, schade nur, dass man zum Frühstück im Erdgeschoss sitzten muss.

War alles Klasse. Sehr gutes Lage. Terasse oben auf dem Dach hat ne nette Bar und enen tollen Ausblick

We were very pleased with this hotel. We had one queen size bed, so no need to push two beds together to make it one. Also the bathroom was very roomy with a big tub and two shower heads along with a shower curtain that covered 95% of the tub! Great bathroom. The room was a little stuffy (we were there in April), but we left the window wide open which helped cool down the room. Location is perfect. It was in the old part of Palermo and in walking distance to the Markets and the Catacombe. We highly would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I wasn't disappointed with this hotel, nor was I overly impressed. There are lots of modern things about it, the lobby area and the rooftop restaurant were very nice, but the rooms weren't anything special. We had a double (2 twin beds) and it worked for us, the view was of another building but as we didn't spend much time in the hotel is wasn't a big deal. The desk personnel weren't the friendliest, and we were very disappointed with the one and only restaurant reccommendation they gave us the first night...I think it was on the fringe of a somewhat seedy neighborhood. Be warned, this is a city center hotel so if you are looking for something with a nice ocean breeze and beautiful view, you need to look outide the city limits! If looking to do something different on your vacation, check out Ristorante Cin Cin's one-on-one cooking class. It's a 150 EUR, 4 hour experience...may sound pricey very much worth it for the travelers looking to do something interactive, educational, and lots of FUN!

City tour bus stops nearly opposite hotel. Good central location. Would definately stay there again. Excellent shopping opportunities in Palermo.

This hotel is in a great location in the middle of the Old Town. Rooms are large but sparsely furnished; nice bathroom. Highlight of the hotel is the rooftop bar/lounge with wonderful views of the city and sea, and a delightful waiter. Nice service from the front desk who didn't charge us for several phone calls and receipt of a color email.

Un des rares hotels modernes de palerme. Très belle terrasse romantique pour diner avec la vue sur les toits éclairés des monuments.

l'hotel est plutot classe, mais nous avions une chambre sur l'avenue et il est impossible de dormir entre 1h et 4h du matin, car la rue est très embouteillée et les gens klaxonnent sans cesse, crient, etc... le buffet du petit dej est moyen (nescafé et jus d'orange imbuvables...)
