Das HardRock hotel Chicago ist ein wunderschönes Haus an absoluter Top-Lage! Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss zu erreichen. Einziges Minus: Die Bar ist ungemütlich und die Parkgebühren extrem hoch!

Das Hotel liegt ausgesprochen günstig für Touristen. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Ausstattung relativ neu.

bin nur "aus versehen" auf einer geschäftsreise im hard rock gelandet, da die kongresshotels schon ausgebucht waren. was für ein glücksumstand! das hardrock liegt am puls der downtown, in einem der schönsten häuser chicagos, alles wirkt ein wenig abgedreht (passend zu dem vergoldeten türmchen auf de haut des gebäudes), der (24h-)service war weltklasse, freundlich, hilfreich, schnell. die suite in der 10. über der michigan ein traum. ja, man hört dort das rauschen der stadt, die sirenen, autohupen - man ist halt mittendrin, ich habe es nicht als lärm empfunden. von den grossen fenstern in zwei richtungen konnte ich den auf einer seite ein stück see erblicken, sah schiffe vorbeiziehen und den stau der michigan. die atmosphäre im haus war von einer ansteckenden heiterkeit und freundlichkeit. Fazit: In Relation zu einem 5-Sterne Business Hotel am Kongresszentrum verdient das Hard Rock so ungefähr 17 Sterne. Auch wenn ich dort kostenloses internet und einen der anregendsten Ausblicke vom Schreibtisch der Welt hatte, ist es für eine Geschäftsreise viel zu schade. ich komme sicher bald privat mal wieder vorbei!

Hotel lag sehr zentral, sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Bilder + Accesoires in den Fluren und in den Zimmern (Rockstars,..) das etwas andere Hotel :-) einzige Nachteil: Klimaanlage bzw. Heizung zentral gesteuert

Enjoyed the stay at the Hard Rock...would definitely come back...Rooms are a bit worn but still very clean.

This was booked especially for our 30 th wedding anniversary. We went to check in and heard the agt say to another couple that only smoking rooms were available. The guests were not pleased with the answer. It was our turn and the same response was given. The hotel was overbooked....guests had late check-outs, etc...the maid service was behind...We were given a complimentary drink offer and told that that they would call us when our room was ready... Call never came thru and we ended having to confirm the room again. I was not impressed with the room at all. It was clean but for what I paid for it, I was not impressed. My expectations were a litle higher.

Great location. Walking distance to the theater. Cool and relaxing bar. I thought the room could of had a bit more rock n roll for the price we paid.

Friendly staff / comfortable beds / great location. Would go back again.

The Hard Rock Hotel was clean and well-designed, but the walls were paper-thin. If anyone so much as turned on their shower, it sounded as though a hurricane was sweeping through our room. In addition, there wasn't anything particularly special about the hotel itself, and indeed, the "Hard Rock Hotel" moniker served no purpose except to inflate the price of the rooms. There was supposedly a promotion where you could "rock out" in your hotel room with some fancy electric guitars, but we weren't offered any such deal. They also lay an "incidental" charge on your credit card, regardless of whether or not you actually use any of the extra "amenities" in your room. It's been five days since we stayed, and it still hasn't been removed from my card.

Hotel staff was very friendly and accommadating. They make you feel like you are a "Rock Star". Can't wait to return to Chicago and when I do it will be with the Hard Rock Hotel.

this is great for the business or couple travelers who don't mind the dark decorations. i think it is pretty cool, but some might find it a little depressing looking.

When I checked in the told me they did not have any King bed non-smoking rooms available... Even though I reserved one online...after about 5 minutes of them telling me they only had smoking rooms they said they found one but they needed to clean it first... This was at 10:00 at night.... We had to wait another 20 minutes so they could clean the room.... This was very annoying since we spent day travelng and just wanted to go to sleep. We finally got the room and it was nice and comfortable.... The next day we left in the morning and returned in evening to find our room had not been cleaned... We called the front desk and again had to wait in lobby while someone cleaned our room before we could go back in.... This is the second time we've stayed here and the last.... We travel to Chicago often and have stayed at better hotels..... I'd rather stay somewhere else

Small room but very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. The lounge is attractive also. Very nice staff.

Nice room and perfect location made for a great trip to chicago!!!

it's annoying when you have to go track down housekeeping ladies for enough toilet paper and soap.

The room and all the services were fantastic. We came in for the Chicago Triathlon and they accommodated us with a late check out so we could shower after the race. They helped us store our bikes and luggage as we toured around the city after the race too. The room was fantastic, great bed, big room, very stylish. From the bellman to the check in desk and concierge everyone was really nice and helpful.

Front desk staff,bellstaff, and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Gave good tips on directions, sightseeing, and eateries. We also enjoyed the bar area on main floor, very upbeat and trendy.

The hotel is very convenient to the "Magnificent Mile" and Navy Pier! However, I feel the hotel is "overpriced" for the little amenities it offers.

I booked this room for my sister and I to stay at for her Birthday. The location is awesome being on Michigan Avenue but that is about it. When we checked in they were really nice and since we upgraded our room when we checked in they gave us a 2 glass bottle of wine. I was way excited about the hotel when I read about it online, especially the plush robes that were advertised. We got to the room and it was stuffy, had to keep it on 63 to get comfort, and there were NO plush robes. Call me corny but I was so excited about that part! We had a great night out just hopping in a cab that the Valet guys got for us. Again the location was great. That night however I needed a bottle of water and got a small $5 bottle out of the mini bar. When I got the bill the next day I was charged for the $8 bottle. I mean its only $3 difference but had I known I would have gotten the larger bottle! :)Valet parking was $46 also. Next time Ill just stay at a hotel one street over and save a bit.

We loved the room with a great city view and music theme throughout the hotel. You'd be hard pressed to find something of equal quality, modernity, and location at any budget. Would definitely recommend this one and we'll be back next time also.

This hotel surprised me in a very good way! I almost didn't stay there because it was associated with the Hard Rock. But it ended up being a subtle tribute to music and more than anything, what I really appreciated was the art deco design of the building playing into the more edgy decor. Also, the location was great, just on the south side of Michigan Ave. Would stay there again in a heart beat!

I was in town for a concert at the Chicago theater. Hard Rock is within walking distance to the theater and many other areas! Perfect location! The in room dining was well prepaired and quite tasty. Room was a good size and quiet. A great stay for the price!

THe Hard Rock Hotel Chicago was an amazing place to stay. The only problem that we had was we booked two rooms and they put us on different floors. It was an amazing weekend anyway and we made it work. The staff were also amazing I don't know what we would have done without them!

The hotel is in a great area for walking around sightseeing and getting to public transportation. The room was clean and orderly. My only issue was listening to sirens throughout the night, but that will come with any hotel in the city. The room was available 5 hours before check-in and an extended check-out was approved with a phone call.

GREAT SERVICE BUT DECOR WAS REALLY BLAND

I went to celebrate a birthday. My fiance and I absolutely had a blast!! The hotel was amazing and house keeping came promptly and everything just seemed perfect. I really did not want to leave the hotel was amazing, Chicago was amazing and I want to go back. Just don't take a cruise under Spirit Cruises, they give you chicken nuggets as a source of meat!! LOL

A good value - close to shopping, restaurants, the train and bus systems. The room was very modern and quite comfortable. Only drawback was lack of sufficient lighting in the room - was rather subdued.. A great stay

Very nice hotel, staff was very helpful, rooms were really nice, had a great view of Chicago, stayed one night and it's very close to all the public transportation and tons of shopping and places to eat around the hotel. Great experience, will stay again!

I almost felt like I wasn't "cool" enough to stay in a place like this-- arriving at 9 am in my business suit- and was pleasantly surprised by the very kind and professional front desk staff. They found me a room right away and my room was fabulous. The free internet was a perk, the bed was comfy, the room was spacious with a nice (albeit small) view of the river, very clean and modern shower (no tub), great Aveda toiletries-- all in all, a really nice experience.

This hotel has prime placement in downtown Chicago. We stayed here and walked everywhere we wanted to go, to Navy Pier, Willis Tower, a Chicago pizza place. The inside of the hotel was very nice and the rooms were quite comfortable. The king bed in our room was amazingly comfortable, I wish I had that bed in my room at home. Valet parking was expensive, but overall it was a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

The building was great with an interesting history. The furnishings were all very modern. The room we had (standard king suite) was big. We enjoyed the musician art in the room. The sheets on the bed were scratchy but the bed itself was very comfortable. The hotel was steps from the river and a couple of blocks from Millennium Park.

This was the perfect hotel for me and my teeenager to stay on the weekend. Thought it would be perfect for big music fans like us. It was very cool, very hip and quite comfortable. Loved the decor! The location was just what I was looking for and this made shopping and dining very convenient. We also took the train so we didn't have to worry about parking. Worked out great. She wants to stay there every year for her birthday. I say, if the price is right, we definitely will.

The Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago is very conveniently located near many Chicago landmarks, museums, and public transportation. You are within minutes walking distance to the House of Blues, the Chicago River, and Millennium Park. Definitely check out the events and night scene that the hotel has to offer... it's definitely worth checking out!

We needed a hotel with a great central location and high standards. The room was a deluxe king overlooking the river with a really comfortable bed and great bathroom. The concierge was friendly and knowledgeable and every night we asked for his expertise. Definitely worth a second trip to Chicago and absolutely in the Hard Rock. Q: What could be cooler than staying a few blocks from the Millennium Park in the Carbide and Carbon Building that looks like a bottle of champagne and having king crab legs on the river at Fulton's? A: Not much.
