Nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen, anstelle eines 4er Zimmers ein 8er Zimmer,aber komplett für uns. Heizung war nur handwarm (Silvester, ca. -2°C), das Duschen war ab 19Uhr nichtmehr möglich da das Wasser kalt war und unsere Zimmertür konnten wir nicht abschliessen. "Wiedergutmachung": 2 Gratisgetränke (für 4 Personen) und uns wurden Extradecken angeboten...

Winziges Zimmer, billig möbliert. Vor dem Fenster parken die Reisebusse, keine Minibar, keine Ventilation, keine Klimaanlage, grölende Touristen. Dafür ist der Preis unverschämt.

Unkonventionelles Hotel. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer gebucht, haben jedoch ein Mehrbettzimmer zugerwiesen bekommen. Die familienzimmer sehen etwas komfortabler aus.

nothing fancy. the family room had bunk beds and two singles that we put together. bathroom was very clean with nice hot water. it's very basic but then you don't spend much time in a hotel room in berlin anyway. near public transport and the neighborhood is great.

The hostel was fine, but a bit overpriced considering that we stayed on the top (4th) floor with no lift. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom coming from the shower, but I doubt that this problem is in all the rooms, we may have been unlucky with our room. Other than that it was everything one would expect from a hostel, we were most thankfull for the laundry. There are even bicycles for rent. During the weekend we visited Berlin there was the Berlin Marathon and it was during the IAAF Athletics, so it is possible that we paid more than would normally be the case.

Stayed with my teenage children, felt really welcome and safe. Staff were very helpful. Location was superb-loved the area; loads of cheap (and vegetarian!) places to eat and drink....Would go back.

Quite old Eastern Berlin building with strange and dark corridor, just like a puzzle palace. Its surrounding area is relatively old and poor, but quite close to LIDL supermarket. Communication is not very convenient when the train system is out of order, say this summer. It takes a long time to go to city center.

This "hotel" is really more like a hostel atmosphere; they have a bar, volleyball net, pool table, etc. and it is chock full of under 25's. The neighborhood is a 15 minute ride from the center of town on train but don't even bother and just stay in the area and enjoy all of the restaurants and outdoor cafe's! Within walking distance of the Berlin wall remains.

I stayed for 3 nights in a twin private ensuite room at this hostel and highly recommend it to those looking for a low cost place to stay in Berlin. Our room was a good size with plenty of storage space (even for 2 women...), comfortable beds and a clean en-suite with powerful shower. We were provided with 2 towels, and the room was serviced daily. There were also useful extras like a TV set and hairdryer. And all for the cost of one night in a 4* twin room elsewhere in the city. The location was fine, in a residential area 5 minutes walk from Ostkreuz S Bahn station (located in Zone A of the outstanding Berlin public transport system). It was minutes from most of the central attractions by train, and near the nightlife in the Boxhagener Platz area (about 10 minutes walk). The complimentary breakfast was basic but serviceable and I was very impressed with the security of the building. There were minor issues of poor sink drainage, shortage of coathangers in the room and slightly disinterested staff. But I would return and recommmend to others who don't mind more basic accommodation if it means an outstandingly low price!

The hostel was neat and clean, the service was good and in english. My booking included two four bed rooms and a single room. The quality was good and the beds comfortable. The position of the hostel made travelling into and out of Berlin extremely simple and quick. The local restaurants and bars were of a good quality and prepared exellent food, also, the staff in general could either speak some english or a least understand our broken german. Would definitely reccomend for travellers to Berlin although the overall quality was not as high as a Hotel it was good, well priced and comfortable.

Hotel/Hostel is clean and easily accessible by the S-Bahn or the bus (to and from central Berlin) stayed two nights for the purpose of sightseeing and for the price we paid it was exactly what we needed - a place to shower (we had a bathroom in our room) and have a good nights sleep. It's pretty basic and provides breakfast. One negative, the room we had was right next door to the share bathroom facilities for the hostel and the banging of the doors was a little annoying, but not unbearable. Great place for backpackers.

I didn't expect such a nice organisation, the people was very nice and very efficient. I found a nice atmosphere lots of young people and some families too perfectly integrated. I stayed 4 days with my kids and they really enjoed. The hotel is situated in a splendid area of Berlin full of restaurant where you can get the most of East Berlin. I really appreciate the facilitation and the bar at the entrance was lovely. The prices were fine for what we got

Super sted - gode familieværelser. Fedt kvarter med gode barer og restauranter

Vi bodde på femte våningen. Det finns ingen hiss. Så det blev lite benträning då det är stor takhöjd på alla våningarna. Korridoren luktade mögel men inte rummet. Rummet var stort, rent och trivsamt. Perfekt för ungdomar.

Ett trevligt hotell/hostel med bra läge, särskilt om du kommer med flyg till Schonefelt dit bl a Ryanair och Easyjet flyger. Bra kommunikationer, gångavstånd till restaurantområdet runt Simeon-Dach Strasse, och många billiga ställen att äta i närheten av hotellet. Ett stopp med tunnelbanan till utomhusbadet i Treptow. Rent och snyggt, daglig städning (ej bäddning) av rum. Sover gör man bäst med öronproppar, för rummen är rätt lyhörda.

Very noisy in the night and the beds are not good.

Un hôtel sans prétention, mais confortable et calme, animé par une équipe jeune. La réception est ouverte 24h sur 24 et le quartier est génial. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

il s'agit juste d'un lieu pour dormir. les lits ne sont pas faits et le linge de toilette pas changé mais si vous voulez vraiment visister berlin c'est à dire être dehors du matin au soir, c'est un bon endroit, pas trop cher et avec les transports en commun on est très vite sur l'Alexanderplatz
