Westside Rentals Hollywood Hotel - Hollywood

-Bathroom door can't be closed -Bed cover dirty and smell -Bed not comfortable and made noise -Booked for Non smoking 2 Queen Bed but what I got 2x 1 Queen Bed and smoke room. Not convenience, my husband, baby and I have to sleep separately. Can’t change it. They said no room available. -Room smell horrible, very small and several flies flied in the room -Can hear stranger talk in the next rooms -Hooker area – not safe for family stay -Booked included continental breakfast but what we got only cookies and coffee located in the checked-in area. Westside Rental Hollywood Hotel should be a 1 star Motel instead Hotel. Not recommended and better paid a bit more.

The room was extremely small and they just shoved a small bed in the middle of the room. leaving absolutely no walked space or any room for that matter. The room smelled weird and the bathroom floor was disgusting!The toilet didn't work properly and we weren't even allow a guest to visit, the manager(women) was rude and made our friend leave the moment we started walking into the motel. I would defintely never recommmend staying here again. The only thing great about the hotel was the location was close to the club we were going to that evening and it had a really nice tv.

If you can stand a somewhat rundown hotel, it's in a good spot close to Hollywood Boulevard and walking distance from Hollywood Bowl. There are also some good nightclubs close by. There is no parking provided by the hotel, but it's possible to get overnight parking for $10 in the area.

Really smelly room, not clean. Not serviced for the three days I was there. Rude front desk attendant. What a dump!

If you have a single person then the hotel is ok. Or 2 single people. NOT NOT NOT for people looking for double beds to share. I had 3 people in the group (1 couple, 1 single). We stayed in many hotels around california this trip and all the hotels had 2 double beds. This hotel had 2 SINGLE beds. Very small. It would not fit two people on one bed. So beware if you are booking for double beds.

we did not want to recommend this hotel to anyone ...plz don;t ever stay in this hotel...the room was not so clean...yet very small....the bed sheets were dirty..and on top of that they did not have any extra pair of bed sheets...to change....we had a tough time to park our car...

This place is ok if you just need a place to lay your pretty little head for a night.

Not much to look at but close everything.

This place had tremendous appeal due to its price and location (literally 1 street off Hollywood Blvd,...5 min walk to Pantages Theater...10 min walk to Sunset & Vine). The Room was basic and kinda small but sufficient for a young couple. Bed was comfy but squeaky...Sheets and Towels were clean...refrigerator was a great bonus...Management was nice. Only draw backs were the somewhat seedy fellow residents and a few bugs that showed up here and there.

The mattresses were twin beds that felt like they were made from baby crib mattresses. The sheets were stained and gross. The air conditioning did not work. Room was about the size of a closet. Bathroom was dirty and seemed not sanitary. I am usually willing to sacrifice for the better cost since I don't spend much time in the hotel. But this hotel was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed and the worst night's sleep I've ever had. I would not stay here as it may ruin your trip. It ruined mine.

Hotel had paper thin walls, could hear person above walking around ALL night. Our room was rihght at entrance to hotel so we heard comotion throughout the night. My towels looked dirty, the shower head was broken and the cable remotes wouldn't always work properly.

Hotel was not as I expected even after reading the comments posted. If you are willing to pay what's considered cheap in Hollywood, this hotel is convenient but quality wise the room was not worth what I paid. Practically every amenity was defective including the shower. Will not stay again.

many bugs there. if you want to stay, recommend just one night, but no more.

it's walking distance from hollywood blvd's attractions/restaurants etc does not make up for it's difficult parking situation (across the street and down the block). once luggage is brought in, it can be tricky to get around the room easily. absolutely no view and no place nice to step out to. but very clean.

For tourists perfectly located in heart of Hollywood. Close to everything worth seeing (Walk of fame, Sunset Strip, Mulholland Drive, Chinese Theater, Universal Studios, Old Studio District etc.), most of them in walking distance. However, room smelled of cigarette smoke although booked a non-smoking room. Thick layer of old dust on surfaces. Towels and bed linen covered in hair including pubic hair. Some towels had yellowish spots. One can hear every word of out of neighboring rooms and every step taken in the room above. That depends of course on the noisiness of other visitors. Breakfast almost non-existent, we relied on our own groceries. Otherwise the place has potential. Looks cosy from outside, with appropriate cleaning and more care for linen and the "essential details" that make a clean impression it might have left a far better impression. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Our problem with "hairy" towels was taken care of immediately after filing the complaint as was the smell of cigarettes (somehow they pulled it of while we were shopping). Parking cost 10$ a day and was around the corner on a guarded lot, which was pretty nice.

We went to the Pantages Theater to see Wicked. Whenever we travel to Los Angeles to see a play we stay overnight. It only takes about 3 minutes to walk to the theater from this hotel. It is just off the freeway, so the next day we continue either back to San Diego or take the day to visit a museum exhibit that won't be coming to San Diego. They offer breakfast served in your room which was nice. The only thing I can see that could be problem for some, is they only have stairs. We were on the 3rd floor, which was fine because we only had an overnight bag. Otherwise the service was pleasant, the price was right and the locataion for us was great.

At first this hotel seemed nice, untill it took 30 min to get the manager to open the door, the room I reserved was not avalible, (3 people in a full bed is not comfortable). I got a ticket in the spot where the hotel manager told me to park; and the towells and sheets were unuseable. And as you can probably tell service was horrible I have never been treated so rude.

The hotel is perfect for a one night stay in the city. It's in a great location, just a few minute walk to Hollywood Blvd. It's perfect for couples or a small group. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was the parking situation. So be prepared for that if you have a car.

Hotellet ligger 3 min gang fra Walk of fame, Hollywood og Sunset Boulevard. Søde værter, en herre om dagen og en dame altid bag et glasbur om aftenen. Værelset er småt med Queen Size seng, mikroovn, køleskab og badeværelse. Husk at meddele hvis man indlogerer sent om aftenen, da værtinden godt kan være gået i seng.

Intet, jeg siger intet fungerede på dette hotel. Fra første øjeblik gik alt galt, fik koden til et værelse der allerede var udlejet. Herefter fik vi et værelse der stank af fryser der havde været i stykker i en uge - det stank forfærdeligt. Fik så et tredie værelse der havde nyt gulvtæppe, men som var møjbeskidt. Ingen morgenmad trods løfte i annonce om kontinental breakfast. Værten var ligegyldig overfor os. Bliv væk herfra.
