Hotel Dell Angelo - Locarno

Das Hotel ist zu teuer. Das Frühstück erinnert an die 60er und 70er Jahre. In der Hochsaison sehr laut.

ausser sehr 'distanzierter' Bgrüssung am Empfang = OK Die Person am Empfang (managerin oder gar Besitzerin) strahlt Ihre Frustation über den Job auf die eintreffenden Gäste ab. Empfehlung : Shopping gehen, Job an fähige und freundliche Person vergeben

Das Hotel ist direkt an der Piazza Grande, direkt in Locarno gelegen, wenige Minuten zum Hafen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist 3-Sterne entsprechend und sauber. Sonst ein hübsch, eingerichtet Hotel mit gutem Frühstücksservice und -angebot, sowie hilfsbereitem Personal. Allerdings nichts für Reisende, die absolute Ruhe beim Schlaf benötigen, da gleich am Hotel die Piazza mit Restaurants und Bars und das, zum Hotel gehörende, Hostel mit vielen jungen Gästen. Uns hat das nicht gestört, wir übernachten gern wieder im Hotel d'ell Angelo!

Sehr grosses Vierbettzimmer mit genügend Platz für vier Personen. Zentral gelegenes Hotel, Nähe Bahnhof und See sowie Bushaltestelle. Ideal auch für Shopping.

Located in the Piazza Grande. Restrauant has great food. The room was okay. No AC and it was August so it was warm.

I loved the fact that the hotel is right on the main Piazza and there was a market running in the morning we were there. It was great to walk around the market. It was close to the train station. The restaraunt was open until 1AM so there was late service when we arrived. I was very comfortable in the hotel. I thought it was a good place to stay.

Excellent service. The owners, Mr and Mrs Dados were more then attentive, patient and generous with their time. I only felt uncomfortable once, having to walk from the public parking lot through the underpass, where there were about 10-20 young hooligans, smoking grass/marihuana, and made rude comments in the evening, as my sons and I walked past them. realizing we were foreigners. Other then this one experience, the hotel is marvelous, with an above-average cuisine/restaurant.

Excellent flooring - cermaic tile was always clean (no stinky, spotted carpet) - all hotels should change from carpet to tile or wood. Negative - all hotels should have TWO (2) COMFORTABLE CHAIRS. We're over 65 - can't lay in bed all the time to rest, nice comfortable chairs recommended to all hotels.

central location on main squre easy for all shops bars etc and stroll to lake. parking nearby in secure underground car park. helpful staff nice bar. room had small balcony with good view good for people watching!

Beautiful central location overlooking the Piazza Grande. Hard to find if your not familiar with the area (even harder at night). Park in the underground parking below the Giardini (accross from the Debarcadero). Nice hotel, we would stay again. The only suggestion would be to brush up on your language skills, they really don't speak any English. So unless you are really good at charades, you should know some, or a mix of: Italian, French, or German (Swiss or High). Don't forget to see Ascona, it's a real treat!

Centralt och lugnt beläget. Små rum men o.k. Familjeprägel. God frukost. Troligen samma hotell vid nästa besök. Egentligen ingen alls anmärkning.

le camere non sono tanto grandi, ma la posizione dell'hotel è ottima, vicino al centro e in zona pedonale. Si può cenare sino a molto tardi.

Hotel situato in un punto strategico (centro città) per cui servito di tutto e anche il servizio ristorante molto carino.
