Great location for taking a trip to the Smithsonian and National Zoo via the Metro. Had a slight problem with the cleanliness of our first room, but the friendly staff immediately switched our room.

We stayed at this hotel on our recent trip to Washington. The best part about the hotel is that it is right next to metro station making it easy to get to/from Washington. Breakfast is good too. We would have loved to have a microwave in the room and probably better bed (it was a bit uneven), other than that its a good hotel to stay. We'd definitely stay there again.

This is a super, clean place to stay with excellent staff and a great location by the orange line of the metro (one of the better, more reliable lines). The food was good Marriot food and the room was lovely with a small table. This is a great buy! @

The hotel is conveniently located close to the beltway and across the street fron the Metro station . The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. It was definitely a great room for the money.

While I was in the shower (less than 10 minutes) my mother-in-law who does not speak very good English used a TV remote, she claims that she did not watch any movies, yet next morning the bill showed $18 charge for a movie. The staff refused to take it off and claimed that it was longer than 15 minutes. Other than that the hotel was clean and comfortable, the metro station is across the road, however if you have many people in the group consider the price of the metro ticket - is not cheap - so parking in the city may be better option.

This hotel was very clean and the location was great being directly across the street from the metro station. This is a great place to stay while visiting DC.

The hotel is roomy, very nice and clean; the business center is awesome; the staff is very friendly. The location of the hotel is good, there are a few restaurants nearby and a train station is next to it.

This was a great hotel for the money. Close to the metro. the only negative would be that it was almost a mile to walk to a fast food restaurant. Since we weren't driving that took up a lot of time.

Room was clean, comfortable, a little small but adequate. Lobby was spotless and comfortable, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location, across from the Metro station.

we were very pleased with the hotel and it's amenities especially for the price we paid. The hotel is conveniently located near the metrorail. I'll use this hotel again the next time I visit DC area.

This was a very nice place to stay. The staff was very curtious and managed to help us in every way we needed. It was only slighly frustrating that the rooms did not have telephone books, meaninging you had to go down to the lobby to get one. The room itself was great, ours had a little balconony which was great to watch the setting sun. The pool and hot tub were great bonuses too. It was a very convenient hotel for having a Washington DC vacation as the train station Dunn Loring-Merrefield was only across the street. Free high speed plug-in internet was great.

Hotel was clean and attractive; room was clean but a little small. Bed was comfortable and linens looked virtually new. Bathroom was spotless. Lobby was attractive. Free parking was an added value!

Although the location was great, the room was big and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was wonderful; I was a little irritated that just as we were getting back to our room to get ready for a wedding, two maintainance men were trying to come in and hang some curtains! The whole ordeal took about 30 minutes and we were almost late to the wedding!

Great hotel right next to Metro station. The hotel was beautiful and clean, same for the rooms. Only reason why I gave a 3 for comfort was because it seemed like I could never get the AC down to a cool enough temperature for me.

Our family of four stayed at this hotel for 2 evenings during the last week of July. We always stay at Marriott hotels when we travel and are never disappointed. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. This hotel is a great alternative to staying in Washington D.C. where the hotels are pricey. We were very pleased with the easy access (across the street) to the Metro. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who will be sightseeing in D.C. in the near future. We will return on our next D.C. trip.

The Courtyard Marriott Dunn Loring was conveniently located to the metro station, an awesome diner a short drive away (walking distance)and was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

I had business in both DC and in Virginia. I selected the Courtyard Dunn Loring because of its proximity to the Metro rail system. The Orange Line Dunn Loring Station is just across the street. I was able to travel from Reagan National Airport, to my DC appointments, to my Virginia appointments using the Metro Train. In the morning I simply walked across the street and took the train (with one connection) direct to the airport. It was extremely convenient. The room was large and clean, the air conditioner was a bit on the noisy side, but everything else was fine.

Great Price, good location for Washington Metro patrons. Room was clean and updated with a modern feel. Staff was pleasant, especially at the buffet in the mornings. If buffet did not come as a part of the room purchased, might be a bit overpriced, but still good. Would definitely consider staying at this location again!!

I was very pleased with my room for the price I paid. The staff was courteous and helpful. What I like best about the hotel was its convenience to the Metro, and hence to D.C. I will definitely stay there again.

I selected this hotel because of reviews from previous guests. The location of the hotel was 12 miles outside of the DC limits and very accessible by the Metro. If you want a nice clean place to stay and not the expense of the inner city this is a great place. A day pass on the Metro is on $7.80 a person and well worth every penny. With this hotel you did not have to pay for parking or look for a stop on the street giving you free parking on weekends in the city. A pool and exercise room were located on the first floor garage level. The entire stay was great and the people at the front desk could not have been nicer.

Let me tell you - this is the place to stay! My husband and I normally only stay at W hotels, but with the economy we had to change our minds and look for a cheaper alternative for our 4th of July trip this year. This hotel was very modern, very clean and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and the location was just outside of the hustle bustle of D.C. It took us 30 minutes on the metro to arrive in D.C. Stay here without hesitation. We will definitly come here again! Staff was fantastic too!

It was a little hard to find, but everything in DC is a chore to drive to. Would have been easier coming from the south. Free parking, easy Metro access, 2 queen size beds, indoor pool with a lifeguard - all at a great price. Panera Bread and Quiznos is just down the road, or a McD's. Staff was friendly, and computers are available in the lobby.

The room was fairly large and the beds were queen size, not full size. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was located directly across from the Dunn Loring Metro station, very convenient. Parking was available free onsite.

We were thrilled with our room at this hotel. The hotel appeared new and was in a new area. Very close to the metro and convienent to the expressway. Very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. We would defintely stay again!

We have everything in our room that we need. The front desk people are very helpful. I recommend this hotel.

very comfortable beds, large rooms, fridge and microwave in rooms. had directions available printed at the desk each time we asked. several excellent resteraumts in easy distance.onsite free parking.

Great hotel, very accomodating. Highly recommended.

I was a little surprised upon check-in no one asked about my intended stay. (didn't recommend anything, etc) They did allow us to check in early though, grateful for that. Although the dunn-loring metro station is across the street, it is a bit of a walk. Breakfast buffet was a little pricy, so we skipped that. Pool was extremely tiny, what a disappointment!

This hotel was far above my expectations. It was extremely clean and comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone sightseeing in DC. It is directly across the street from a metro station. Only issue is lack of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Overall wonderful hotel.

This Courtyard was a very nice hotel, especially for the price we paid. We planned this trip to go to the baseball stadium. Knowing the stadium was right on the Metro line, we looked for a hotel that was also on the Metro line. When they say they are a block away from the Metro stop, they mean it! You walked out of the hotel and across the street and we were in the parking lot of the Metro stop. It is on the Orange line which worked out fine for us. I would say that it took us approximately 45 minutes from the time we stepped out of the hotel until we got to L'Enfant Plaza on a Friday night at 5:30. Not bad at all. When we returned from the game it was later and I felt safe going from the stop to the hotel as it is in a nice area. The hotel itself is quite modern and the underground parking was nice as I left my car there untouched for nearly three days and didn't worry about it once. The only complaint that I would have would be with the gentleman who checked us in as he was not at all friendly. I can't say that he was rude either but was just not friendly on any of the occassions I spoke to him. We did have the breakfast on one day. It cost $13 a person but they had several options and the food was pretty good. If we would have purchased the package which included the breakfast we would have saved $8. We did not go around the area much as we spent most of our time in DC so I can't say what type of restaurants are located nearby but it seemed like the area that if you drove up the road a bit it would have several options. Overall, I liked the hotel and would stay there again. (Oh and one of my favorite things about the room was that they gave us 6 pillows!!)

This hotel is located across the street from the Metro Station. Very convenient for visiting DC (about 30 minute trip). The trains and stations were very clean and on schedule. We opted for the daily pass ($7) which was a bargain as we used the train frequently between sites and restaurants. There is a parking garage on site at no extra charge. There are not many restaurants within walking distance and we were not sure about the surrounding area so we did not walk there at night. All in all - a great value compared to DC hotel costs and great location.

Great location, so close to the Metro. Lots of great places to eat close by. We plan on visiting DC again and we will definitely be staying here.
