Fraser Place Queens Gate - London

Das Hotel und die Zimmer haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Man sollte an genügend Adapter denken, um elektrische Geräte aufzuladen gerade wenn man mit zwei Teenis reist (gibt es auch im Hotel zu leihen). Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, da wir uns selbst verpflegt haben. Parkgelegenheiten sind in London und auch am Hotel schwer zu finden.

Close to tube station and museums, restaurants & shops. Apartment concept works well for a family of 4 (e.g. cutlery, laundry, maid service). Internet connection was not free (but inexpensive) - however it was quite problematic to access everytime (took 3-4 tries). Everything else was great though. Reasonable prices too. Would highly recommend it.

Hotel was great. Rooms were huge and had a kitchette. Our friends had a room with a loft, ours had a seperate bedroom. Noise was not a issue for us - our room was at the back of the hotel and quiet. Great area and located next to Gloucester Road Station. Continental breakfast is not included and is 9 pounds per person. The pub at the end of the street (Stanhope?) charges just 4.99 for a full English breakfast.

This is my second stay, and I was very happy the last time. However this time they put me in the basement, and it felt like a basement. If you kept your eyes to the floor, the room was lovely and pretty much what you'd expect compared to thweir photo's & description, however the ceiling was very low and it felt more like an office ceiling, and there were lots of water stains on it. Again their plumbing left a lot to be desired. The shower had to be put on for 5-10 minutes before you could actually get under it.

A nice hotel in a good location. Lots of noise from adjoining rooms and a very small shower/bath.

We were on the 5th floor in a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment. Every window was blocked by the edge of the roof so there was absolutely no view. Probably would have had a better view from the basement. The bedroom had an air vent and some sort of panel on the ceiling that rattled all day and night. I had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room because of the rattling. Despite daily complaints to the front desk, the noise coninued the 5 days/4 nights we were there. The phone didn't work for the first 2 days and the bathroom sink was clogged for 2 days. There is no housekeeping or maintenance on the weekend, so if something goes wrong or needs to be cleaned you are stuck. The apartment itself was great, decent sized rooms and modern bath with tub. Kitchenette was convenient...London is super expensive, so stock up at the supermarkets. There is one across the road and another one a few blocks away. The location of the hotel is superb. Close to transportation, pubs, restaurants, museums and shopping.

Studio was very roomy, kitchenette clean, bathroom large and modern for european standards. Lovely hotel -- one block from Gloucester station, 40 minutes direct underground trip to Heathrow, walking distance to Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall. Good rate on hotel.com made us feel room was definitely worth the money. There is no hospitality service on Sundays and holidays but we didn't find that inconvenient. Elevators are a bit slow. Overall, this hotel and the studio room was well worth the money and I would recommend this hotel for room and location convenience.

Although my room was very comfortable and clean. The carpet in the room needed to be cleaned. There were stains all over the carpet. Room service was good but they did not change the sheets for the week I was there. The shower did not always have a constant flow of water. The very friendly staff was not knowlegable about the easy to use train system and restaurants in the area. Overall my experience was not bad. I would not recommend this hotel for first time visitors to London.

Everything was great including the location cleanliness, customer service and the room itself. The only issue that we had was lack of internet service. For what seemed to be a business type hotel, it was surprising that it lacked an internet connection. One really nice touch was when we entered the room it was warmed up and soothing classical music was playing. The location is great -- right by Gloucester road tube station and many local stores.

Beau quartier, bel hotel et très belle chambre spacieuse mais notre chambre en entresol était très bruyante en raison du boulevard à fort traffic. Qualite de service tres moyenne avec la chambre pas faite un matin et pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain malgre plusieurs demandes au personnel. Hotel bien placé dans Londres avec le métro à la porte desservant tres bien le centre.

We were looking for a hotel in the lower price segment and found this very good. The room was quiet large with a small kitchen where we made our breakfasts. The service was very good.
