Hotel was extremely unattractive - looked like a poor Holiday Inn. It was alos poorly maintained. Front desk service - what there was of it - was unfriendly and sometimes surly. Breakfast buffet was good, but service was spotty. Hotel is a couple of miles from town, which is okay if you don't mind the walk - it's a wonderful promenade. Otherwise, you have to drive, or take a cab, everywhere. The hotel we wanted to stay in, which was booked because of the film festival, was about the same price, absolutely stunning and perfectly located. Oh, well. I would never go back to Costa Vasca.

Approx 10min walk to La Concha beach and a ?6 cab ride in to town, also walkable but a steep hill awaits you on the way back, so a cab back is a must. Sadly that's where the pluses end. The pool looked amazing online was v disappointing, small, v cold and had lots of floating bugs. It was overlooked by guest bedrooms and local residents on 3 sides and separated only by a thin hedge from the car park. Not the idyllic setting the website suggested. Breakfast which was not incl in our room rate was v disappointing for ?13 charged. A very limited buffet with your choice of cooked eggs. It was much better value to eat in the hotel cafe. Lastly the staff looked miserable all the time, and were very unhelpful even in crisis. They spoke very little English and even when we attempted Spanish, they were unresponsive. On our first day we thought our car had been stolen, when we reported it to the hotel staff asking for help, it was like pulling teeth. They didn't seem to care or offer help in contacting the authorities. I had to demand that someone help us before anyone took any notice. The glumness of the staff didn't stop there, the breakfast room staff and cafe/bar staff (except for the cafe/bar staff on our first night, who were never seen again during our 4night stay) made us feel equally unwelcome. We felt as though we were an inconvenience and were frequently ignored. So a great location but very poor service. I would not choose to stay here again.

Excellent hotel, because there were 3 of us we had a suite, which was absolutely lovely and very clean. We will all be visiting again.

Comfortable, clean room with modern decor although air con was on blink.Bar more suitable for business. Pool area closed but didn't bother us. Main gripe is expensive to mpark car on site.

My girlfriend and I had driven from barcelona to San Sebastian on the day of our arrival and found our room to meet and exceed our expectation. The hotel is centrally located in San sebastian only a 5 minute walk to Onderrata Beach and a beatiful 15 minute walk to the old part of town( yes, we timed it!)The room amenities were fair, otherwise thay would have scored higher( no safe for jewelry, passport etc.) and no iron for clothing. Laundry and ironing is available for a surcharge but not on the weekends. The front desk did take the initiative to press my shirt, but did not fair well in the process, and charged faily for it. The hotel is located 6 km from Chef Berasetegui's eponymous restaurants, 4km from the world famed Arzak Restauarant and 15km from Mugaritz Restaurant, ranked number 4 in the world! The hotel itself has a beautiful pool, ample parking( at a surcharge of 22 euros daily), and great cafe and restauarnt in the lobby. Room service menu is adequately priced and has diverse menu options. Overall, I would go back again!

The room was very clean with a lovely big bathroom. Lighting, as always in hotels, was exceptionally poor but the staff were very friendly. The only negative is that the hotel is quite far out of town - a brisk 15 min walk.

L'hôtel est un vrai 4*. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût. Le personnel est bilingue (français ou anglais). L'hôtel est à 10mn de marche de la plage mais un peu excentré (25mn du centre ville). Petit défaut : trop petit choix de chaine TV (aucune chaîne française et une seule chaine anglaise)

Veldig fint hotell, med trivelig atmosfære. Rommet var utrolig fint med fantastisk god seng. Stort, fint bad. Deilig basseng i hagen med solsenger. Barpersonalet var meget hyggelige og serviceinnstilt. Dessverre for oss snakker personalet ytterst lite engelsk, men klarte oss greit med tegnspråk. Bor gjerne på samme hotell neste gang.

Et kjempefint hotell,ca 20 minutters gange fra gamlebyen. Veldig god service, store,fine rom, lekkert bad og fantastisk frokost!

J'ai surtout apprécié l'environnement très calme de l'hôtel et la disponibilité d'une terrasse à chaque chambre.

Bon hotel . Facilite pour garer la voiture

Jag trivdes bra på Costa Vasca. Rummen var fräscha, rymliga och hade det mesta man behöver. Ett minus för avsaknad av strykjärn, man fick betala för att få sina kläder strukna av personalen. Alla var vänliga och pratade ganska bra engelska. Frukosten var toppen, det fanns allt från "lagad mat" till frukt. Tyvärr ingår inte frukosten i priset. Läget var helt ok, lite ocentralt kanske men det går bussar som man kan hoppa på för att ta sig in till centrum.

très bonne hôtel,design moderne,ce qui change du commun,service du bar très correcte à des prix très abordable pour un quatre étoile,chambre spacieuse et s de bains tout confort,nous avons adoré.

BRAVO le Wifi gratuit Hôtel très bien rénové, reste un peu loin du centre. Le parking devant l'hôtel est payant, c'est pas top mais bon... La piscine n'est pas chauffée, pour les courageux donc.. :-) Sinon, pas mal.

Tres bel hotel, bonnes prestations mais un peu loin du centre... On prend des taxis (environ 8 euros). On peu aller à la plage à pieds. Parking tres cher à mon avis, 17 euros par jour.

SI, CI TORNEREMO SICURAMENTE, ANZI AVEVAMO PRENOTATO UNA NOTTE E SIAMO RIMASTI DUE NOTTI PERCHE' UN FANTASTICO COMPROMESSO QUALITA' PREZZO... POI SAN SEBASTIAN E' STUPENDA!

L'hôtel lui même est à la hauteur, mais les chambres sont petites, pas très propres. Il y flotte même une odeur pas très agréable, qui semble provenir du revêtement des balcons qui a visiblement un peu moisi.

Op de inrichting van het hotel en de netheid van de kamer hadden we niets op te merken. De houding van het personeel aan de receptie was echter koel en onverschillig. We kregen eerst een sombere kamer die uitgaf op de achterzijde van het hotel alhoewel er verschillende kamers met balkon aan de voorzijde beschikbaar waren. Toegegeven, ons verzoek om te veranderen werd wel ingewilligd. Ook bij het uitchecken voelden we weinig betrokkenheid van het receptiepersoneel
