Hotel Medium Monegal - Barcelona

Es ist ein Mittelklass Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen. Im Zimmer hat es alles was man braucht, einfach aber sauber. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Nette Mitarbeiter, sehr hilfsbereit.

Super central gelegen, daher gut geeignet zur Stadtbesichtigung, Touristbusstation direkt vor der Tür. Leider auch der Verkehrsknotenpunkt der Stadt, daher sehr laut, aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich. Der Aerobus startet direkt vor der Tür, sehr angenehm für Fluggäste. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Sauberkeit war o.k. Also für uns war die Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten am besten.

I don't understand why the hotel got such good reviews on the websites. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. I'd rate this hotel at a step above a hostel. First of all, make sure you get an interior room if you stay here. I had to have my room changed because it was impossible to sleep in an exterior room because of the noise from the plaza. There is no sound proofing in the hotel, so even in an interior room, you will still hear everything from the halls. The first room had dirty sheets on one of the beds. The A/C in the rooms has two settings: hot or very cold. The elevator broke while I was there and it was a four flight walk up to my room after a long day of sight seeing. The bed was uncomfortable. On a good note, the hotel is very central and the continental breakfast was reasonably priced and good. The wifi was free and the staff was very knowledgeable about the area and was friendly. Be sure to read all the fine print when booking on hotels.com. I missed the fact that my hotel stay was pre-paid so I couldn't switch to a different hotel.

Lobby is in an active watch shop. Very strange experience upon entering this narrow watch shop/hotel. Location is the best in barcelona for night life, tourism bus drops, and transportation in the heart of the city. Room was old, uncomfortable, and latch on door was not very safe. Air conditioning did not work well and bathroom was terrible with shower curtain affixed to ceiling by a literal thread without any sort of further boundary from the bathroom so the force from the hand held shower kept pulling the curtain inward and it was plastered again your body while you were showering--awkward.

Perfect location to explore this fabulous city. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent and relatively cheap. Room was on the small side but certainly acceptable. The hotel lacks a lounge/bar area but there are plenty of cafes/bars just outside. Overall, great value for money.

This hotel is located steps from Las Ramblas. Our hotel room acutally overlooked Las Ramblas. The lift is tiny and we spent most of the time walking up and down stairs but it served its purpose for taking us up with our luggage. If you do not have a car the taxi was less than 40 euros. We would definitely stay here again. The metro and the sightseeing bus pick up are just across the street. Front desk staff spoke English well and were very helpful. Free wireless access was a plus!!! Shops and restaurants are everywhere...

The hotel is located right off of La Rambla. Our room overlooked La Rambla with a small balcony and it was great to stand on the balcony and take it the sights. It was slightly noisy due to the location but we loved it. The room was basic, clean and big. The staff was great in helping us find various things that we needed and booking things for us like a Flamenco show.

Great location, nice price - in which you get what you paid for. Nothing fancy but nice people and again, one of the best locations in Barcelona.

Excellent location close to hub of all activity, walking distance to many sights and the ports, noisey at night but ideal for partying and walking back from clubs. Close to supermarket, shops, restaurants and clean spacious rooms with all necessary facilities. Friendly staff with limited English and always able to help.

The hotel is fine, good value for money especially as it was situated at the top of La Rambla and the Metro station was outside. There is a lift which is a bit old fashioned. We didn't take the breakfast option as there are so many places to eat on the doorstep. The room had all it needed but it was a little noisy as wewere at the front right above La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya. Very interesting and busy. The TV is set to a low volume, it was hard to hear it, I don't know why because the traffic noise outside was far louder. Overall our week's stay was good, the room was clean, comfy and cheerful if a little boring, bath was great, view was good, access brilliant.

PERFECT location -- right in the heart of Las Ramblas and Catalunya Square! Kind of strange with a Burger King on one side and McDonald's on the other. Staff is EXTREMELY helpful and WONDERFUL! We would stay there again!

Hotellet ligger perfekt for os, både for at opleve Barcelona. Men også som overnatningsted for vores videre transport med jernbanen. Vi ankom til Barcelona lufthavnTerminal 1 og kørte med bus direkte ind til Plaza Catalunya uden stop, gik skråt over Pladsen og ind i et dejligt Hotel, med en meget venlig betjening.Vores værelset lå med direkte udsigt til Plaza Catalunya og starten af Ramblaen, det kunne ikke være meget bedre. Værelset var rent, sengene gode TV med boks. Pænt stort badeværelse med badekar masser af håndklæder, alt i alt godt. Morgenmaden indtog vi på 3. sal, som var god og var alle 5 Euro værd. Vi vil med glæde bruge det fremover.

Vi fikk aldri lov å ha med venner opp til hotell rommet etter kl 22.00, noe som ble et relativt stort problem, ettersom vi var mange som reiste sammen, men bodde på forskjellige hotell. Ble ganske tungvinnt...

Hotel bien placé, ideal pour le shopping, et la decouverte de Barcelone...

prima hotel, perfecte plek, voor een paar dagen barcelona heb je niets meer nodig.

La posizione è ottima alla fine della Rambla su Piazza di catalogna, Le camere sono pulite e il personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo per vacanza breve. Aspetto negativo, le camere poco isolate acusticamente e con spifferi. Nel complesso un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo
