Falkensteiner Hotel Palace - Wien

Ein schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen mit guten Service. Daher ist es mir regelrecht ins Auge gesprungen, daß die Bettwäsche Löcher aufwies. Sollte bei diesem Preis und dieser Kategorie eigentlich nicht passieren! Ansonsten hatte ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt, wie immer.

Ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, zentrale Lage, ruhige Zimmer (kein Lärm durch Klimaanlagen, etc.)

Sehr gutes Stadthotel mit viel Komfort, nur wenige Minuten zur U-Bahn und damit auch gut geeignet für touristische Ausflüge. Umfangreiches, schönes Frühstücksangebot (und das ist in Wien auch in dieser Kategorie nicht immer üblich...), alles in allem - gerne wieder!

The Falkensteiner Hotel Palace was an awesome place to stay! It took as a little bit to find it from the train station, but after we did, getting around was really easy. The underground metro is only like 2 blocks away, so it was easy to get into center to sightsee. The staff was always really helpful and our place was amazing. It was almost like being on our second honeymoon. The cost is definitely worth it. There is also free internet in the lobby of the hotel, which was nice to use. Overall, this was a great place and I'd recommend it to anyone going to Vienna!

The hotel is okay, not great for a four-star hotel, but not bad either. The location of the hotel is not very central, so you have to take transport around and definitely can't just walk anywhere. There is not a lot of stuff around the hotel.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is centrally located and had nice surroundings. It is a well managed hotel and the guest were all nice and friendly as well.

This hotel was actually better than i expected.....with exception of a few front desk people (most of them were nice) and the lack of internet-access in my room. i think wireless connectivity in the whole building would add important service to this hotel. the neighborhood is not exactly great - but the subway station is just around the corner and it takes only a few minutes to get downtown.

location is about a 15-20 min minute walk to downtown and area around it was great for cafes and pubs. room was a bit small but was clean and comfortable. no coffee in the room which is a downpoint for me, but overall was a good value. bring shampoo, conditioner and lotion if you need those things.

Room: My room was very comparable to a USA style hotel room in size and cleanliness. It's a typical style quality hotel I would normally stay in for business in the USA. Plenty of space, full bath with shower, modern styling. Breakfast was not included in my hotel.com price, but it was a very good breakfast selection. Location: I chose this location as it's out of the city center and therefore a better value for the money. It's a 5 minute walk from the subway. From the subway, it's a very convenient and quick ride to the major sites and train stations. The area was neighborhoods full of locals with plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes, etc. Overall: I was very satisfied with the room quality and location. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on September 5-7, 2008. The gentleman who checked us in was fantastic. He gave us a top floor room with a balcony which was lovely. There was not really any views from it but it was a nice perk either way. The room was small and cosy but clean. The bathroom was a good size and it was very clean. The hotel staff was helpful with offering restaurant suggestions for Viennese food. This hotel was in a nice, safe neighborhood with some quaint restaurants nearby that were not filled with tourists. That was a nice change for us. We were about 3-4 blocks from the Metro which was convenient for going to the main square. I would stay here again because of the neighborhood restaurants BUT if I wanted to be in the thick of things, I would stay closer to the main square.

Nice hotel that lloks like it's been refurbished recently - everything very clean. Helpful staff. Location good for the market and within walking distance of many sights.

This was a clean comfortable bargain priced hotel for Vienna. It is located in a nice neighborhood, 2 blocks from what turned out to be the most useful U-Bahn line for all sorts of sights. Within walking distance of the Nachsmarket too. Breakfast was not included with the Hotels.com price, and to add it was 15 Euros per person per day. Definitely not worth that much of an add on, as there are nearby shops with great coffee and pastries for a fraction of that cost. It was not clear from the Hotels.com site that the breakfast was not included, so watch out on that score. Otherwise, it's worth a stay.

needs improvement. Stop nickle and diming hotel customers. Hotel phones are blocked for 800 numbers!! How ridiculous can you get.

This hotel is a great value in a city like Vienna. The neighborhood is average but the subway is close by and the "Ring" is only two stops away. Parking is available on site for smaller cars. Larger (taller) cars need to go to a garage several blocks away. The cost of parking in the hotel garage is 30 Euros..somewhat high. The remote lot is 11 Euros, a better value. Overall, our experience was very good and the hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Great breakfast-the best we had in Europe. Air conditioning made the room so comfortable as the weather was hot. Staff was helpful

Ældre hotel der ikke levede op til et stjernet hotel med ikke nogen speciel god beliggenhed. Den ene dag blev der ikke gjort rent på værelset, og den anden dag var der ikke flere håndklæder fordi hotellet var booket.

Friendly staff, great service.! The area is close to Nachtmarkt which is the city's best food marked with a lot of small restaurants. The hotel breakfast is way too expensive, but other than that it is very nice and to a great price.

Hotel bien situé (2 stations de metro du centre ville et 3 de Shonbrunn), chambre un peu petite mais de qualité. Bon ensemble.

Ett mkt fräscht hotell med modernt eleganta rum. Kyl på rummet vilket är bra när det är varmt. Däremot ingick varken frukost eller internet vilket jag förväntar mig som standard på ett 4-stjärningt hotell. Där av ett lägre helhetsbetyg.

the hotel was good, the room was confortable and silent and the bathroom was large. it is located near the city center (walk distance) and has a nice lounge/bar.
