South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa - Las Vegas

Hotel liegt 10 km westlich des "Stripzentrums". Neubau, sauber und übersichtlich. Gute Zimmerqualität. Parkplatz kostenlos. Eignet sich auch für Familien mit Kindern. Gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis, auch beim Essen. Pool ausgezeichnet. Schlecht: Internet kostet 12 $ pro Tag. Mc Carren Airport in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Würde jederzeit wieder dort einchecken.

Lage OK ansonsten haben wir schon besser gewohnt.

Neues Casino-Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen. Etwas weit entfernt, aber über die I-15 ist das Zentrum in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Dort sind kostenlose Parkhäuser überall verfügbar.

Wer ein sehr gutes, sauberes und luxuriöses Hotel in Las Vegas sucht, was außerdem auch noch gut zu bezahlen ist, liegt mit diesem Hotel genau richtig. Es liegt zwar etwas abseits vom Strip, allerdings sollte man in Vegas sowieso einen Mietwagen haben und dann ist das kein Problem.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit großem komfortablem Zimmer. Ist etwas weit weg vom Strip man sollte schon einen Mietwagen haben. Dafür ist sehr Preisgünstig auch am Wochenende. Sehr empfehlenswert

Das Hotel ist sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind schoen. Bestehen sie darauf, dass sie auf dem 9 or hoerem Stock seid. Denn die billigeren Zimmer, die wir buchen, einer Wand gegenueber stehen. Ab dem 9 Stock gibt es keine Wand mehr. Das Hotel ist vom Zentrum entfernt, aber die Shuttle service ist sehr gut. Jedoch, wenn sie nach 1 am in Vegas feiern moechtet, sollt ihr ein Taxi zurueck nehmen (ca USD 26). Qualitaet - Preis ist das Hotel ganz gut. Die Atmosphere ist besser als in der Stratoshpere. Man kann auch mit USD 1 wetten, auf dem Strip ist es mindestens USD 5. Zum Empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist zwar ein wenig vom Strip entfernt (Auto erforderlich oder Shuttle nehmen), aber in Punkto Zimmergröße und Komfort absolut empfehlenswert.

Auch wenn es ein wenig vom STRIP entfernt liegt ist diese Hotel sehr zu empfehen Inbesondere das PreisLeistungsVerhaelnis ist super

Das Hotel liegt zwar ca. 5 Meilen vom Südende des Strips entfernt, bietet aber einen hervorragenden Komfort, vergleichbar mit den besten Hotels am Strip.

Hotel South Point ist wirklich zu empfehlen, sehr schön, neu und sauber, nicht zu groß, Lage auch ideal ein bißchen vom Strip entfernt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hervorragend.

I have stayed here three times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hotel is in a nice quiet area at the south of Las Vegas Blvrd. Lots to do in the hotel - great swimming pool area, bowling alley, cinema, restaurants. Did not gamble so cannot comment on that. You need a car to get around.

Room was huge, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom lacked any motorized venting fan, unfortunately. Make sure to get a room facing west, to get a view of the pool instead of the roof of the casino. Staff was helpful, let us check in early and printed our boarding passes. Pool is nice, but difficult to get a chair. Fitness center charged $15/day to work out.

The room was big, but I was disappointed that my toilet started to get clogged after a few flushes. By the end of my stay, it was clogged. The showerhead water pressure was pretty weak and when I checked in, the room was just beginning to get cleaned. There was only 2 staff people checking people in, so the wait was pretty long. But the staff was friendly. There were alot of locals vs. tourists.

The South Point offers a great location only minutes from the main strip attractions. There is a convenient exit for I15 right next to the casino. For anyone looking to avoid the crowds and hassle of the main strip hotels the South Point is a fantastic place to stay! The rooms are also larger than most of the strip hotels, and offer flat screen tv's and great views across the Las Vegas valley. For the money, this is the best place to stay in Vegas.

The room was great and the service. Pool was beautiful.

This hotel has everything without the crowdiness of downtown. Only dissappointment is the fact that they charge guests to use the work out room.

The room was nice and roomy, and for a great price during a busy holiday weekend. The room had a horrible chemical odor to it so we burned incense and lit candles. We didn't want to pack up and move to another room because we beleive the odor was in ALL the rooms. That reason alone is enough for me to never stay at that hotel again.

South Point was a great place to stay. You never have to leave the resort if you don't want to. It has everything you could possibly need for a weeks vacation. Staff was very friendly, hotel very clean, services and pool was awesome. The big ball bowling alley was unbelievable. The price was unbeatable for what you get. The strip is only a 10-15 ride away.

I thought that this hotel would be along the lines of some of the more inexpensive hotels along the strip but I was totally wrong. The only thing that it lacked from the super high end hotels on the strip was a high end shopping mall inside. I am sure that it will come shortly making it a destination hotel for sure. Thanks

First experiances go along way and our first experiance along with every other guest was Check-in. The line was extremely long and took abot 45 min to check-in and I was in the middle of the line, so not great to start. Location was not even near the strip. They said it was not there fault but they " way overbooked" on Kings, so we got 2 Queens. The hotel restaurants tasted horrible and bland. We seen a comedian while there and he even joked about the location and food there. The Hotel was very reasonably priced through Hotels.com and very clean. It was also very new Maybe 3 years old. I would recommend it if you get a good deal but if not just stay on the strip its worth the extra few bucks.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IT HAS ALL THE AMEDITIES YOU COULD ASK FOR WITH BEING FAIRLY CLOSE TO THE STRIP. IT HAS A GREAT SPORTS BOOK WITH EXCELLANT STAFF TO HELP MEET YOUR BETTING NEEDS. I ENJOY PLAYING BINGO THEY HAVE A GREAT HALL FOR THAT. tHE ROOMS ARE SPACIOUS AND ARE THEY HAVE VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS AND BIG SCREEN TV FOR YOUR WATCHING ENJOYMENT1

This is a new hotel and beautiful property. If you don't need to be right on the strip, this is a great place to stay.

This hotel exceeding all of my expectations. I told everyone that I was staying at "El Cheapo" hotel because of the price so I was surprised to find granite counter tops, modern bathroom fixtures, new decor in the room and hallways, great toiletries from Bath and Body Works, ceramic tile in the bathroom, a wonderful relaxing pool area, and of course the flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the room. The bowling alley and movie theater in the hotel were great too. The value was incredible.

I'm glad I stayed at South Point. The room had plenty of space. Very clean. Great location as well. Right off of highway 15, so it's easy to get back to the strip which was 10 minutes away by highway. Located off of Las Vegas Blvd which had plenty of restaurants and shops heading north to the strip. My only complaint was I could easily hear my neighbors. It was a family, so the kids got a little loud. Not a huge issue for me, but other people might be put off by this. Overall, I had a great time here and would stay there again when I return.

We loved the hotel...thought the staff was friendly, lots of restaurant options, great price on the buffet, nice casino, and plenty of amenities such as a bowling alley, movie theater, huge bingo room. Only complaints we had were distance from the strip- a little farther than I thought from the strip. We had to rent a car (an additional expense that I had not anticipated) to get back and forth without paying through the nose for taxis; and the pillows on the bed were terrible. Really lumpy and uncomfortable. Plus when we checked in the maids had left us only one towel set for a room with a king. Otherwise, we had a great time there. I'd recommend it if you don't want to go to the Strip.

Kind of plain for a Vegas hotel, but clean and good restaruants.

They Oyster Bar was a great experience with good food....I would highly recommend this place.....The other food areas had good food such as the buffet and the sports concession stand but their customer service especially the Garden Spot was not as good as the Oyster Bar very little smiling and more of an attitude of lets get them served and out of here......

For the price, a great hotel with all the ammenities. Perfect for groups with younger kids because of the bowling alley and movie theatre.

Rooms are very roomy.

Deluxe rooms, clean and up-to-date. Lots of restaurants onsite. Helpful staff. Far from Las Vegas Strip--could be a pro or con. Disadvantages: had to pay $15.00 a day extra to use wireless internet and another $15.00 a day for access to the fitness facilities.

The hotel was great. In comparison to the rooms in the east tower of the Luxor they had more space and appeared more modernized. When I chose this hotel I'm sure the website advised it was located on the southern part of the strip. It is actually a few miles away from the strip causing us to have to take a cab to get there and back. The hotel had a full gym, spa, salon an sauna. It would be more suited for people who are having an extended stay in Vegas and want to be away from the hustle of the strip. No real complaints from the hotel. It is quite large and you will have a long walk through the Casino floor to get to your room. This may bother some people, but I was fine with it.

we loved it.The staff was nice the rooms were outstanding and the price omg.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were great. My son loved the bowling alley and the arcade. The rooms were clean and I loved the Bath and Body Works lotions, shower gel etc. Service was great @ Baja Miguels. Buffet was good also. The coupon book they gave us when we checked in had some really good offers which we took advantage of. Would recommend this hotel and will stay there again for sure!

Enjoyed stay.

this hotel is a great deal for the price. large clean rooms, friendly staff and a casino that equals that of those available on the strip.

The hotel it a little out of the way but worth the drive. It bills itself as affordable luxury. It is very nice but I wouldn't call it luxurious. It doesn't compare with the upscale Wynn, Belagio, Venitian, etc. Still, it was a bargin for what you got.

South Point is a pretty fancy hotel even though their rates are pretty low relatively speaking. Very nice decked out rooms and really good amenities.

We had the best weekend in Vegas. The pool is beautiful and the jacuzi pool was great with its rock waterfalls. The movie thearter and bowling alley was great fun. The hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay the best. i would recomend this hotel to others and return again.

We got such a good deal I was not expecting much. Nice room and casino. good service. great buffet. great pool and jacuzzi.(The best thing is it was open all night in hot weather) The only thing lacking was the entertainment which was all very early so we missed it all. Not much happening except gambling during the week.

We live in Los Angeles and deal with traffic and crowds every day - this is the last thing I want when on vacation. Southpoint is well outside the Las Vegas Strip area and doesn't have the traffic problems. It has very easy freeway access and is a good place to stay when just passing through. The rooms are well appointed and relatively inexpensive in the off season. If your intent is to stay in Vegas, Southpoint is probably not a good choice because of the distance to the strip. If you are like us however and pass through Vegas several times a year heading elsewhere, check out Southpoint.
