Der Preis ist unschlagbar, das Casino bietet alles und die Mädchen etwas für die Augen. Das MGM, Tropicana, Luxor, Excalibur und New York New York sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Was will mann mehr?

We stayed here for labor day weekend per a friends recommendation. We were extremely disappointed. We stayed at the bay view section of the hotel... First, the elevator from the parking garage is disgusting. It's so old that you think it might break down as you ride it. Secondly, our room... the carpet was wet. They did not clean the cost. The dust was so thick... completely disgusting. Surprisingly, the beds were comfortable, but I found stains on the sheets. Overall, i'd give this hotel a rating of 2/5 stars. I'm normally not picky, but the condition of the room was just plain disgusting. I wouldnt recommend staying here. Even a motel 8 would have been better.

We knew we were in trouble when we thought we had accidently gotten on the service elevator...it was a guest elevator. We got off on our floor and there was LARGE smelly stain on the floor. Across from our room, someone had left a tray of food to be picked up. It was still there 16 hours later when we checked out! Disgusting! It seems like this hotel has seen too many "spring break" type parties because puke and pee were the smells that wafted in the hallways. Oh, yes, this was a TUESDAY night. Would never want to imagine what it's like on a weekend, and would NEVER stay there again!

We got a really great rate, the room was large and bed really comfy, location good but it was dirty, especially the bathroom. Long hair stuck on the shower walls and floor among other things. Leaky faucets and shower. Sink did not drain. Evevators and halls were archaic, slow and dirty. 2nd night we requested a different room, they did not blink at the request. It was much cleaner but still very old and worn. Sliding glass door and window from the 70s, did not function well. Poolside wonderful but crowded.

I go to Vegas frequently for business. I normally don't stay anywhere near the strip and it had been years since I'd done anything down there. So the initial culture shock of the Vegas tourists, I will not hold against the hotel. The casino was very busy and full of lots of rowdy people. My room was decent for what I paid but you could tell the hotel needs a good make over. This is a no-frills hotel: No microwave or fridge and small things like chipped paint (everywhere), stained carpet, cracks in the tub tile, mineral build up on the shower head, etc. Also be prepared for loud neighbors as this is obviously a party hotel. The pool was amazing. And not as loud and rowdy as I had expected.

Our sliding door wouldn't close all the way, so we could hear the construction crew next door at 7am. Not cool when you're up late the night before at the tables. Our door had about a 2 inch gap between the floor and the door, so the light and noise from the hallway came in as well. Uncomfortable beds and bathroom was not very clean. This place is probably the cheapest you will find on the more popular side of the strip. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, but who really sleeps anyways? The pool wasn't so spectacular. They were clean, but the upkeep of the pool area (chairs, floors) was not well maintained. One of the hot tubs weren't even working. The casino was cheap and small, but if that doesn't float your boat, cross the street and go to the MGM Grand. We did receive 2 tickets to a show (we didnt get to go so I'm not sure how good that was) and we got 2 free tickets to a buffet champagne brunch which was descent, a plus for the hotel. Overall it was worth what I paid. Oh yeah, and if you like their wings, from 12am to 6am wings are 0.25 cents a piece.

I originally booked this hotel as it was less expensive than other hotels in Vegas and it had average ratings. I was not expecting a lot with the hotel, but the hotel turned out to be much worse than I expected. I took a hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel for $6.50 each way. I was surprised to find that the hotel is actually right at the airport and only took a couple minutes to get there. Why doesn't the hotel have an airport shuttle then? hmmm. When checking into the hotel there were only two front desk personnel and it took 45 minutes to check in. There is actually a sign at the front desk that says "We guarantee same day check-in", I guess it's supposed to be a joke. Upon checking into the hotel I had requested an extra night stay as I was originally only staying Friday night. The hotel quoted me a price and my reservation was extended. My room was in the main building on the 12th floor and it seemed adequate overlooking a small pool and the highways. The bathtub and shower were very dirty with mold and mildew. I was surprised as it seemed that the shower hadn't been cleaned adequately for a long time. There were two small bottles of water in the room that were marked as $4/each, not free. I played some table games in the casino during my stay and did not find the dealers especially friendly or helpful. For a smaller casino I would have thought they would have been much more down to earth, but it wasn't this way at all. The clientele of the hotel seemed mostly a redneck type crowd which I guess the Hooters name usually attracts. My first night in the hotel was crazy as there was screaming, yelling and partying on my floor that didnt stop until around 6am. The walls are very thin so if you plan to sleep at all then you might want to choose another hotel. The second day of my stay I went to my room to find that my key was not working. I went back downstairs and had to wait in line at the front desk for 30 minutes to ask for a new key. They stated th

Miscellaneous scraps of paper and other unidentifiables in the hallway that were there the entire time we stayed -- four days. The faucet in the shower was falling apart. IT ALSO COULD USE MORE THAN 1 TRASH CAN. AT THE FRONT DESK, WHEN I CHECKED IN THE PERSON JUST TOLD US OUR ROOM AND SAID GO AROUND THE CORNER TO ELEVATOR. WELL THOSE ELEVATORS LEAD TO THE PARKING GARAGE. AT THE BELL DESK THE GENTLEMAN SEEMED AS IF I WAS INCONVIENCING HIM TO TAKE MY BAGS TO MY ROOM. HE SAID 15 MINS IT WAS OVER 30 BEFORE BAGS GOT TO THE ROOM. NOW IF THEY HAD BEEN BUSY I WOULD UNDERSTAND BUT THEY WAS ONLY 1 CAR TO BE VALET PARKED IN FRONT OF US. CHECKOUT WENT EASY. I am a frequent visitor to Vegas and have seen the Hooters Hotel, but never stayed there until this visit. The hotel/casino is crammed with slots and tables which makes getting to your room a little difficult without bumping into people. I got off the elevator and it was apparent that someone had partied to hard and didn't make it to their room before the party exited their mouth. The whole floor wreaked even though they tried to clean the carpet. They put a big blower fan in the hallway to dry the carpet, but all it seemed to be doing was spreading the smell around the entire floor. I will say the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you like the South end of the strip and you want a hotel with clean room and only minor ammenities, then Hooters is a good choice for the money.
