Modern up-to-date hotel, newly refurbished. Room was clean and comfortable although a bit warm at night for us. We ate breakfast there--better than expected for cafeteria-style food. The food in the bar was quite inexpensive and very good. The hotel is a bit out of the city but a taxi ride into town was only 3-4 pounds--well worth it not to drive and have to figure out parking!

We were very pleased with the service at Da Vincis. The pub area was extremely well-designed and followed the Da Vinci theme. The staff was very helpful with maps and information and wanted to know afterwards how we enjoyed the sights. The restaurant on the site was also nice, although a bit pricey.

The staff here was awesome! The rooms were clean, comfortable and very nice. It was only slightly more than some of the other chain hotels and was well worth the difference.

Allowed us to check in early which was great but our room was at the side of the building where the bins were kept so all night we were woken by bottles smashing and clashing in the recycling bin and rubbish being thrown around. Also the bedroom doors are very heavy so when people are going in and out of their rooms it wakes you up as the shutting of the door is so loud. We are not old folk - we are in our 20's but it was still too noisy for us! Must say Da Vincis restaurant and bar are fantastic. Must visit but wouldnt recomend to stay again. My suggestion is The Beachill where service and rooms are unbeatable for a good price.
