Embassy Suites Montréal by Hilton - Montreal

The room was clean and a good size. There was a microwave and a refrigerator/freezer. I didn't need them but it was a good addition to the room under other circumstances. The daily breakfasts were very good. It is right across the street from the convention center.

The hotel was great for the money, and situated in an excellent location. The breakfast was also a plus. The manager was helpful with the parking.

Nice hotel in good location. Very large bedroom with closing doors so baby could sleep while we watched tv.

I love this hotel so much. Room is big, clean, location is so convenience.Breakfast is good too. Just parking a little expensive and feel not too good. Else I love it so much!

Stayed three nights end of June/first of July with family of 5. Price was great, quality of room and service was equal to higher end hotels. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Free, high quality breakfast, and free drinks at evening reception. On site parking. Directly across from subway station. Walking distance to old Montreal and old port area. Very safe, secure, clean. Would recommend to anyone.

We were really pleased to find the Embassy Suites Montreal on Hotels.com. It's where we wanted to stay, and the Hotels.com price made it affordable. We were delighted to find a lovely suite with giant whirlpool bathtub and glass stall shower in the bathroom. There was a flat screen TV in both the living room and the bedroom. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped. On site parking you accessed from the hotel elevator made it very convenient.

The hotel must have been recently renovated because the suites are modern and very clean. The breakfast is a great feature although it is a mob scene. Great staff with helpful doormen and knowledgable concierge. Walking distance to great restaurants, art galleries, and cathedral.

Very comfortable room with good firm bed. Full breakfast choices were excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Short walk to old areas of town with numerous restaurants.

Very spacious suite for an extremely reasonable price.

This was a wonderful hotel for many reasons. First, the price was exceptionally competitive compared to other hotels in Montreal. Next, it's location next in Old Montreal was just a short walk from many attractions and a quick 15 minute walk from downtown Montreal. Finally, the room was absolutely excellent. The room (a Deluxe Suite) featured a fireplace, humongous jetted tub, kitchenette, and separate bedroom. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to any Montreal traveler, and I am eager to return to Montreal so I can stay at this hotel again.

This was a great stay. The hotel was very nice, the staff was wonderful. The managers reception and breakfast was great. I would definately return to this hotel and if there is an embassy suite located at my next vacation I would stay there.

This hotel is only a year old and is beautiful. The room was fantastic, comfy, roomy, had 2 flatscreen tv's and a huge bathroom. Breakfast each morning was delicious - omelettes to order, bacon, sausage, fruit, potatoes, pancakes, and loads of breads and pastries. The staff were all totally attentive and friendly, gave our 2 year old daughter a gift bag on day 2 which was full of perfect toddler stuff. They're still doing construction so the pool is not done and the dining room is incorporated into the lobby, but that did not detract from our stay at all. There was a great manager's reception each evening, with a pretty festive atmosphere, yummy snacks, and a good crowd. My only complaint: their smoking policy is not strict enough for me. We smelled cigarette smoke pretty much every evening in the hall outside our room... but our room was fine so this complaint is minor. Overall - great stay, and the price we got with hotels.com was significantly less than what the hotel's 800 # was offering!

Swimming pool was not available, Breadfast was barely OK, Front desk staff waas courteous.

Hotel was very clean and service was great.The location to Old Montreal, China town, and access to the metro was within walking distance. I would highly recommend it.

If you want to stay in the heart of Old Montreal then this is perfect for you. The hotel is just perfect. Great food with room service and the free breakfast is fabulous!!

if you're looking to stay at a really nice Hotel at a moderate price, I would definitely recommend going to Montreal in March. It's still technically winter. So, I imagine it can be "hit or miss" with the weather. During the four days that I was in Montreal the weather was very nice. The sun was shining brightly in the sky and the temperature was cool(somewhere in the 40'sF) with no wind. I had a suite room with a fireplace for 1/2 the price that it would normally go for during the Spring/Summer/early Fall months.

Very convenient location for China Town, Old Town and many restaurants. The hotel lacked nothing. Good breakfast too.

the back rooms look directly into some offices and much construction is going on behind the hotel but the overall stay was very satisfactory.

Right in the heart of the Montreal downtown and just a few steps away from the metro. The staff has very helpful and friendly. The only downside - no pool - they are currently renovating. Otherwise A+!

Really enjoyed this hotel - one critique would be the restaurant, which I needed to use several times due to in-hotel meetings... The ambiance was not well designed, you somewhat feel like you're sitting in an open hall in the lobby. Some simple deco design changes could easily soften this effect. Also, things like "iced tea mix" instead of brewed iced tea, and other small details like that somewhat mar an otherwise excellent experience. The staff for catering, events, front desk and housekeeping were outstanding. Superbly friendly and helpful people.

I travel to Montreal on business often. The hotels there are hit or miss. This one is very nice and conveniently located. Hotel employees are professional and nice. Rooms are very nice and modern.

The location was so perfect, right across from the Convention Center where there is a Metro Stop and access to the Underground walkways where you can walk, about 45 minutes to the actual Underground Mall. When we first got there late night they had booked up the studio rooms that we had reserved but they upgraded us to the King Suite which was a corner suite. As its a new hotel a few errors are expected. The one thing I noticed was the caulking around the (awesome and giant) jet tub, its missing in a few spots and there was a dent in the wall. Other then that it was wonderful. The free breakfast was great, the omelet station was genius. The free drink during happy hour was better than what I assumed we would get for free. The bartender was friendly even though she was very busy. The front desk staff gave us great advice on things to do and places to go. Head to Hurley's Pub on Crescent street ($10 cab ride). We ate at Gibby's which is down on the port, expensive but absolutely delicious. Notre Dame is in your backyard! We have already recommended this hotel to many of our friends and family!

I had a great experience here. The suite was very spacious, clean, and well decorated. The location was convenient right between old and new montreal. The staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good too! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others!

Good service. Great location. Good breakfast. Free drinks during happy hour appear to be watered down, but worth the price.

Caution - there is ongoing loud construction around the hotel that nobody mentioned (no signs, nothing on the website, the front desk staff never mentioned it at check in), but it started at 7:00am on Saturday morning, and boy was it loud!! So much for sleeping in on vacation... We politely mentioned it to the front desk but the staff wasn't overly concerned about the "wake-up". Not even an apology was offered for the inconvenience. Weird, since the rest of the service was decent. Otherwise, the room/suite was great! It was twice the size of any other place we've ever stayed. The parking is not included in the cost of the room. The dining area is relatively small so the complimentary breakfast, though decent, was very crowded.

Location was excellent, right between old montreal and st catherine street. Room was very nice, two flat screens! Also we got a free room upgrade since we arrived a little early and our room was still being cleaned so that was nice surprise. Breakfast was amazing with full hot breakfast, cold breakfast and omlette station, juices, fruit. Concierge was very friendly and gave us a nice map. Parking was a little bit expensive for valet so we opted to use the self park garage across the street which wasn't to bad as you can get around very easily in the city without a car. Overall was a very nice hotel and broke my streak of booking hotels that looked nice online but didn't deliver. Would definitely recommend. Also not sure if they give these to everyone but didn't notice they gave us free drink coupons to use at the bar (during certain hours), so be sure to watch for those and take your free drink also!

Most comfortable bed I've ever had in any hotel. Room was smaller than I expected but very adequate. Very quiet. I stayed in March on Easter weekend. This is a newer hotel that opened in August. Few oddities: still no vending machines on my floor (even tho' there's a room for it); no "do not disturb" sign in room; full dishwasher in room but we couldn't even open it (out of curiosity); area with bureau very dark - they need a lamp or overhead lite; closet doors are very small so hard to get things in & out. Easy walk to old Montreal. Great breakfast & a free happy hour is always a big plus.
