Holiday Inn Express & Suites Daphne - Daphne

During the night we called the front desk several times about the people in the room above us. They were stomping around in their room and it sounded like they were dropping things or throwing things around. The first time we called the desk, the employee said he would call them to tell them to settle down. He called us back a few minutes later and said that they would not answer their phone. We asked if he could go up there to talk to them and he said he could not leave the front desk. We ended up calling the front desk at least 4 more times before we finally gave up and finally fell asleep around 2 a.m. We were awakened at 7 a.m. by more of the same. We decided to get up and get ready to go down for the free breakfast that was offered. It sure didn't look like the food that was advertised on the posters around the hotel and they were out of nearly everything. We rummaged around til we found a little something that we could eat. 1 bisquit with gravy, 1 sweetroll, 1 carton of milk... split between 3 people. It wasn't much of a breakfast. Finally someone came in and started to refill some of the trays but we were disgusted so we packed up our things and left. I told the woman at the front desk about our horrible night and she appologized but offered nothing in the way of a credit or any other compensation. We left the hotel upset, crabby, hungry and tired. We won't be back.
