Hotel Alla Fava - Venedig

This hotel does not look very inviting from the outside but you get a much better impression once you are through the front door. The hotel has a small (unlocked) gym where you can store your baggage. Although advertised as a buffet breakfast, we were handed a plate with a roll and a croissant and were able to choose jam and butter from a small selection. The room had air conditioning but this was controlled at the front desk so the room did get quite warm at times. The hotel is very well located and we walked to all the local attractions within 10 minutes. It is also well placed for the Rialto Vaparetto stop which goes to Lido and the train station. For the price, this was a good choice in what is a very overpriced city.

We would recommend this hotel to others because of its location and the helpfulness of the staff. We appreciated the fact that the neighborhood is quiet. Our room was very basic, as we expected. We did expect air conditioning, but it had not yet been turned on for the season. It was hot! The window had no screen, so the mosquitoes soon found us.

This hotel wasn't bad, and the location was great - a 1 minute walk from the vaporetto stop. The room was nice enough - looking over a little canal; a bit noisy, but not bad. The staff seemed a little grumpy, but that seems to be the status quo in Italy. The only reason I'm not recommending this hotel is if a friend was going to venice and asked if they should stay there, I think I'd say they could probably find someplace better.

our room was nice. The only slightly dissapointed thing was breakfast which was only croissant, plain roll and jams. Apart from that, very nice place, friendly staff.

Rooms aer clean and the staff is very freindly and helpful. the hotel location is very convenient.

Hôtel agréable et très bien situé. Les chambres sont assez petites mais très correctes. Le petit déjeuner est un peu léger. Personnel très sympathique parlant français ou anglais. Possibilité de laisser les bagages le dernier jour pour continuer à profiter de la journée.

Hotel blinkt niet alleen uit door positie (100 mtr van rialto-brug) maar vooral door de perfecte service. Wat een gastheerschap. Helemaal goed.

Ett enkelt hotell med vettigt pris. Ligger mitt i smeten men i en lugn gränd så det är inte störigt. Det finns en dator med internet i receptionen för gästerna. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade inte. Rummet var rent med fräscht badrum.
