Nervig.

The hotel was good although I am not sure it would be considered a 4 star in the USA, or any other country for that matter. It is located in new town which really has nothing to do or see in it. The location is not good for evenings out at restaurants and bars however, the closest metro stop is about a 10 minute walk away and handy enough to get to city center where all the action is happening. The hotel itself was well-decorated using IKEA decor and clean other than the carpet in our room, which was really dirty. There was a good breakfast in the basement of the hotel every morning which was nice. The staff were not the friendliest and didn't have the best English but were helpful enough. I got a back massage which was good but different. The THAI style of the massage was very different from any other style I have had. The masseuse was very friendly and nice.

Having stayed in a number of Prague hotels over the last year, the Royal Court and Spa was up to the standard which we have come to expect. A modern interior throughout following a Scandinavian minimalist model, it had the feeling of being light, clean and airy. The double room was slightly on the cramped side but other than that it was clean and very comfortable. The shower was absolutely wonderful - three different settings including back body massage jets which were very invigorating. The complimentary breakfast was buffet style and consisted of the usual good quality and variety of food. The staff were friendly, helpful and relaxed. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk from I P Pavlova metro station so very close to Prague centre. Only one small snag is that the hotel is just off Legerova street which is full of noisy traffic; however, anyone coming from London probably wouldn't notice it much!

A really nice little hotel, a bit out of the centre but we walked into the centre of Prague in about 15-20 minutes, and the tram station is only 5 minutes away from the hotel. Nice clean bedroom and bathroom with enormous shower. Breakfast was nice, not a large selection of food but more than enough. One thing to be aware of - we booked the spa room for an hour but were not told there was a charge for this when booking it (600) and were asked to pay when we checked out - when we said we hadn't been told of the charge though the receptionist waived the charge. So, if booking the spa, ask for a list of the charges first! Would definitely stay there again.

Compact & bijou's would describe our room - the hotel was lovely but rather a tight fit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Breakfast was a good and varied spread of hot and cold food, we fuelled up for the days exploration. One really disappointing aspect of the hotel was the Spa, you had to book in advance - we intended having a spa & massage together but trying to plan ahead to see if we could fit it in before leaving for our evenings on the town led to us not bothering with it. The city is a jewel of historical splendour magnificent towers and views around almost every corner. The churches were many and ornate. The designs, architecture and craftsmanship stunning. Truly memorable. Although there was plenty to do and see both day and night it was a journey from the hotel, initially by foot, then tram and metro as we became more familiar with the routes and areas we wanted to get to. Food was excellent everywhere. Dining out was hard work at times for non smokers - it certainly made you appreciate dining out in the UK but that is a personal issue and wont affect everyone. The ladies of Prague were very chic and elegantly dressed - Very cool place - would definately return

We had a hard time finding the hotel at first (even people working across the street didn't know about it) but it was probably only because it's new and doesn't really look like a hotel from the outside, my guess is it was made from an apartment building. Once we found it we totally fell in love with this hotel! Everything is brand new and very clean, super comfortable bed, good breakfast and very close to the centre. It's about a 10 min. fast walk to the subway stop but even taxi from the centre (the Wenceslas Square in particular) is really cheap because it's really not far at all.

There are only two garage spaces which are on a first come, first serve basis. Parking in Prague is very limited so if you are driving/renting a car, this may not be the right hotel for you. We had a problem with the AC the first night - our floor was shut off due to noise from the AC units in some of the rooms. The hotel staff graciously relocated us to a sixth floor room which had independent AC on our second night at the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and aside from the parking and AC issues the hotel was very nice. The manager on duty the first night helped us locate a parking garage within walking distance but it cost extra money. Breakfast was good with a variety of food available.

When we first entered the lobby, we were wondering if it was actually a 4 star hotel (as stated) because it looked like an entrance to a youth hostel for budget stays. The design of the lobby, restaurant and corridors were fairly simple. But the rooms were tastefully decorated and amenities were provided. Staffs speak English so that was helpful. The location of the hotel is the main problem for us. It was situated about 10 minutes walk away from trams and metros, and the last thing you want after a whole day out is to travel, then walk 10 minutes in the dark to get to your hotel. Then again it is difficult to get food or drinks as there are limited conveniece stores/restaurants around. There are no room service, restaurant available only for breakfast, and you have a mini bar in the room. Overall, good room, bad location.

The bottom line is that this hotel aint finished. It's clear that instead of getting all the snagging finished, the owners have decided to get the punters in now, and finish off the details as the money comes in. The mini bar didn't work, the TV only has 1 English channel (BBC World), the surround sound speakers don't work, there's no soap in the bathroom, there's no coffee or milk with the kettle, there's exposed wires all over and there was a bloke fixing the lift. Don't get me wrong, when it's done it'll probably be fine. I rather liked the minimalist decor and thought the breakfast arrangements were good. But for now, spend your money on a different hotel until reviewers become happy with this one.

Royal Court Boutique Hotel - location is quite good - 3 mins walk from metro stop and 15 mins walk from Wenceslas square. Minimalist/ modernist decor in public areas, small but functional reception with friendly and very helpful 24 hour staff who speak good english and can recommend tours etc. Bedrooms were clean (puzzled as to why our deluxe double was actually a twin bedded room but couldn't be bothered to change as perfectly comfortable) and comfortable - we had a whirlpool bath and DVD player/ TV. You can rent from a selection of DVDs at reception though we didn't bother as there's plenty to do outside the hotel in the city. There was no air-con, so I suppose if it got much hotter over the summer it might not be so comfortable. (27 degree May days - nights were close to being sticky in our room) Breakfast buffet was simple but very adequate - coffee machine, selection of teas, fruit, various cereals, toast, pastries/cakes, cold meats and cheese, bacon, fried eggs, hotdogs and some raw veg. Spa was really just a large posh bathroom - It cost about £20 for the 50 minutes. I would definitely recommend this clean, comfortable hotel. If you don't mind a slight walk to the main attractions of prague then it's great.

We visited Prague on our anniversary i spent some time looking at hotels and having been there before had some idea of where the main attractions were. We chose the Royal Court Boutique Hotel and Spa a new hotel so called in centre of prague!!!! Our arrival to the hotel was met with with a very helpful gentleman who assigned us a room on the 5th floor, on opening the door we found we had been given a twin room and not a double as requested, so back down, where we were advised that the only room they had with a double bed was a 1st floor room right by the lift, given the choice we took it and to be honest we could not hear the lift or any other people walking by, so that was good. The room was clean, , contempory and had a huge bathroom with an amazing shower so all was good. We arrived quite late so we decided to walk to Wencelas Square which it says is nine hundred meters away, it is not, it is more like one mile and a down hill walk where you have to cross a busy road at least three times it takes at least fifteen to walk and twenty to walk back as its all uphill!!!! this is not good after walking around Prague for a day especially if you are intending to go up to the Castle which is well worth it. The views of this amazing city are well worth the hike. All in all we think the hotel is nice but just to far away from the centre, the descriiption of the hotel is spot on but its just to far away if you intend to walk the city which is the best way

Frokostbuffeen hadde begrenset utvalg, men grei nok.

Spa on 6th floor was beautiful but the sauna didn´t heat up enough during our 60 min session and the toilet door couldn´t be closed. Dette visste vi på forhånd. Det stod at det var restaurant, men det var kun frokostrom (og kun åpent til frokost). Fri internet, men ustabil og veldig tregt.
