Express by Holiday Inn Salford Quays - Manchester

Had a great trip. Stayed two nights in hotel to go to match for first time. View of Old trafford which really topped it all off. No complaints what so ever. Central, Friendly, helpful staff, couldn’t be cleaner. Area around has places to eat and drink. On the quieter side of things but that suited us perfectly.

AS a Liverpool fan, it was a bit disconcerting to have a view of Old Trafford from our window, but the rooms were lovely and the service was fine. Its just a short walk to the tram stop and so really convenient for a city centre jaunt! The breakfast is just a continental affair, but to sit watching the ducks, swans and heron in the morning is very relaxing. Overall a nice hotel to stay in.

Took the kid's to see the cricket, and booked the hotel at the last minute. The service we received from the staff was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect with a choice of restaurants close by, and the Lowry shopping centre just a short walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a short break to Manchester.

Booked the hotel at the last minute and when we arrived we had been booked into a smoking room. Asked helpful man at front desk who immediately moved us into a non smoking room. Easy to get to if driving. Excellent value and would definitely stay here again. Lovely walks around the nearby canal and Lowry shopping centre and theatre are 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of selection for the breakfast. Very clean and well decorated.

Stayed for one night and was not impressed by the noisy air con system outside the window. The sofa bed for the children to sleep on had a large gap across it, making it uncomfortable to sleep on and there were spiders in the room, which was not clean under the beds at all. We did inform reception who said they would report the faults. Overall the hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent. We just had a bad room..117 on the first floor.

great location and good value for money. Service/staff could have been better, one guy was really helpful others looked like they couldn't be bothered. But it was clean and comfortable and nice decor. Breakfast was good, again service poor, no napkins, trays, cutlery, coffee available - customers had to ask staff to fill things up, but when they did so quality was good.

we found our stay at the hotel very comfortable and would not hesitate to go back. Location was ideal visiting the area.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. We felt a bit sorry for the staff on the Sunday morning because there was a false fire alarm went off at 6 am and this not only woke all the guests but it automatically shuts off the boiler so no one had hot water in their rooms for a shower. They were very busy as a result and under pressure. We did get a discount on what was already a knock down price so well done to them! The family room was a bit small and the bed was adequate and we had all the facilities we needed travelling with two children aged 7 & 5. The receptionist who welcomed us after a hectic journey from Dublin was one of the most pleasant people we've ever met and brought a smile to all our tired faces. I wish I'd noticed her name as she deserves a mention. (Arrived Fri 17/4 at 9.30-10pm). Excellent location for match weekends at Old Trafford and we will be recommending this to our fellow fans!

très bon acceuil lors de notre arrivée nous avons dû faire un changement dans notre réservation cela n'a posé aucun problème l'hôtel est très calme, propre, cadre reposant....

15 minutters gang fra Old Traford og det er en veldig hyggelig tur langs kaiene dit. Det er lite liv rundt der om kvelden men trikken går like utenfor og rett til sentrum. Servicen er ok, men de er ikke så veldig raske. Rommene er helt plaine og rene. Bra verid for pengene. 15 min i taxi fra flyplassen

L'albergo e leggermente fuori dal centro ma attaccato alla Metrolink che ti porta in ogni angolo della city.E' una struttura quasi nuova e moderna,molto pulita e con una prima colazione dove c'é una buona scelta e a Manchester gli alberghi non danno tutti la prima colazione inclusa nel prezzo!Lo consiglio e se ritorno a Manchester alloggerò di nuovo all'Express!

posizione tranquilla e servizi adeguati, buona qualità anche per il breakfast

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile., ambiente pisacevole, l'albergo siraggiunge molto bene in auto .

Ett bra hotell om man vill gå på Old Trafford och se på Man United. Lagom gång avstånd.
